I booked my rental through online and yet they change my location of pick up. So upon the day was scheduled , my order was not reserved and they forgot to update the changes. I waited to the office to open by 9am to fix the problem. It supposed to be 730 am . Very bad process

I had a reservation to pick up a 15' truck at 9:00 AM. I was driving to get the truck when I was called by a UHAUL employee who told me the truck was late being returned and I needed to show up at 10:30AM (very inconvenient). I showed at 10:15 and the employee at Menifee Storage told me the truck had been there all along. It had been returned early the day before. Also, UHAUL website indicated the mileage rate was 79 cents a mile. I was told the mileage would be 90 cents a mile by Menifee Storage. I complained but was told they could not doing anything about it. I looked at my contract, which was emailed to me, and found I was billed 99 cents a mile. Total bait and switch on the mileage costs. It was a total hassle from start to finish on this rental. It was UHAUL's fault ... not Menifee Storages fault.

The pick up and location was fantastic. Uhauls shitty service and limited availability in this area even AFTER a month's reservation was ridiculous. I also asked for more miles and the associate responded “well 2500 miles is a lot so I think you'll be okay” and then I proceeded to go over.

Front desk was very rude and attempted to charge us for an extra day (when we arrived early) and gave us a hard time in how much gas was in the truck, even though it was right at the same amount we picked it up with and we had the original paperwork with all the original information, the clerk did not look at it, she argued instead. She wasted our time this morning on a stressful day, completely unnecessary 😐

At the drop off the office was closed at after hours. We ended up leaving the u-haul at the site. Could not figure out how to leave the keys in the drop box. Returned the next day to turn in keys to the office. Otherwise everything fine. Thank you. Shirley Wille

Set everything up online for mobile device pickup. They changed my pick up time at the last minute so I had to wait in the cold for them to open. Then I had to give them all my information again today in office. Mobile device pick up never worked throughout the process. Then I returned the truck at 3:25 pm and the office was closed. Again mobile device drop off still didn't work.

Not sure if the location was supposed to make sure the truck and equipment was supposed to be in top working order. We moved at night and one of the headlights was facing down and the other was facing up. I could tell because I was in the car ahead of the truck. My son the driver also said he noticed the headlights were not aligned. That could have been an epic scenario for an accident.

The truck was not in good working condition. It had a hole in the gas tank and all the gas ran out at the gas station while I was pumping gas, and I had to call someone to pick me up. Those were dangerous conditions to be renting a vehicle.

Dropping off at night can be a little scary. The street in front of the location isn't lit adequately. There should also be an on-property parking for customers using U-Haul's trucks.

The vehicle I rented wasn't what I needed and I returned it to uhaul shortly after renting it. I didn't have the vehicle for two hours, yet I was charged for the whole day, plus gas, plus mileage, and service fee. Although the service and facility was fine, I will think twice before considering using uhaul services again.

I will say the survey is not complete enough. The way this started was an online reservation. When I arrived to the original destination the equipment was not available. Strike 1. They referred me to the second location. Doors locked and sign says they would return in 2 hours. Strike 2. Called customer service and they said they cannot find my reservation and they would call back. 30 min later and after driving around for 1.5 hours I was referred to the 3rd location. They did have the equipment and I was in and out fast. Menifee location on Murrieta rd, nice job. To The rest of uhaul, the service, reservation, corrections, lack of knowledge, and downright carelessness is horrible. I can't believe you are in the rental business and take reservations but cannot keep, track, or inform customers of them. That is the entire concept. You fail!

Ordered truck for 6am. Wrong keys in the box for pick up waited over 40 mins for someone to get the right keys. Rushed my move to get the truck back by 10am. truck cab was dirty full of trash. Ask for a discount, lady seemed annoyed and said it's up to the manager. Terrible service

Remember that Uhaul rents in 24 hour increments. What time you pick up determines what time you need to return. The reps at my Uhaul were awesome and explained everything and made the experience great!

Trash in back of truck, and the app was to long and didn't explain well need a better system so clients don't need to run a computer to rent in and out quick.

When I first got there I was told my reservation was cancelled and I had no truck. I called customer service distraught. That rep called this location and got it all straightened out for me. The uhaul rep was very helpful. The lady at this location was great once she got the green light to rent to me. I didn't appreciate, however, being charged for a safe move charge of $14 without being told. She didn't explain nor mention that charge. I found out by reading my receipt. Thank you, Uhaul for making it happen! :)
