We were told Uhaul staff would have to hook up the trailer we rented. So, my husband went alone to pick it up. There was no Uhaul personnel to help him, he had to negotiate the hookup himself. I don't believe this is the fault of the young lady on duty.

I originally signed up online for a 6 hour rental from 1-7pm. Was called and told that reservation time would not work at 1030am the day of. But could take the vehicle right now till 430. So immediately drove to uhaul (30 min drive). This greatly impacted my schedule with movers, especially in unload. I didn't get my $50 guarantee- what a joke. I was charged a $25 cleaning fee! The vehicle was a mess. The lady marked 3/8ths tank. There was hardly fuel over a quarter tank when it was given to me. So was charged an additional $30 dollar fuel charge even though I returned the truck with a quarter tank fuel. This lady was upset because I was 15 min late so decided to screw me out of an additional $100 in misc charges. Renters beware this place is a scam.

Was charged $30 when I turned in my rental and no idea why. I filled the tank within 1/2 mile of dropping off the vehicle and it was cleaned out and in perfect condition.

The girl was not very knowledgeable and she did not wear a mask and I am a senior citizen with underlying I was not comfortable in the office with her not wearing a mask and the gentleman who hooked it up had no mask either

We called to discuss the reason we were charged a 25 dollar cleaning fee. The truck was returned cleaner then we received it, we had to make a separate trip back for our dolly's and it took 2 days for them to call us back about the charge. When we showed up to get the dolly, the employee was late to her shift to open at 9am and multiple people were waiting. She told me at first they did not have our appliance dolly in stock. Luckily I told her my husband had confirmed this previously and she looked again and found one! We will not be recommending them or uhaul to anyone. We would appreciate a call back regarding the issues we had with our service. 225-276-6851

I just received the receipt and I am sure that I put the fuel back on 1/4 and I have a $30 charge. Very dissatisfying when you can't practice good business with a reputable company

I have rented equipment several times recently at a couple of locations and I find that the retchects on most of the units are not maintained very well on the car carriers and car dollies.

The location was not the problem. Who ever said the trailer was good to go was not even paying attention or the person that delivered it just destroyed the trailer. To make things better, this total disregard for the equipment was a common theme because when i went to get a trailer from another location it was not road worthy either (no license plate). The only reason why i will use Uhaul again is because you are the only option in my area.

When we make the reservation for the truck, we got an e-mail saying we would get a confirmation call within 24 hours of our booking. The afternoon before we were supposed to pick it up rolled around and we still hadn't gotten a call from anyone, so we made calls ourself to figure it out. Thank God we did because 1. It wasn't at the location where we requested to pick it up and 2. It wasn't going to be ready for 3 1/2 hours after we requested to pick it up and nobody ever called to confirm location or time of pick it. It put us behind schedule a few hours, which then turned into a whole day because it began to rain and we couldn't load up the truck in the time we planned out.

The rental location was great. UHaul did not have the truck available as indicated and my pickup time was not during normal business hours. To say this was an inconvenience is an understatement considering the fact that I had to be out of my condo on 6/30 but did not actually complete vacating until 7/1.

I picked up the equipment and there was dog feces in the inside of the truck where you put your items and in the front of the truck were you drive had cigarette ashes and cigarettes and trash in it then they forgot to put the tow dolly and the U-Haul and I would like some of my money back.

The truck broke down in the middle of my move , uhaul customer service is poor I was hung up on numerous times as I was placed on hold repeatedly. Me and my little girl were stranded at a gas station for over 2 hours. I am still waiting for a confirmation to continue my move but yo no avail.

Actually have a truck at the location at where it is reserved. It was by happenstance that I picked up the rental. I went by the location where the reservation and when I got there no truck was there and they had no knowledge of me or my account. I left trying to get in touch with Uhaul (which is impossible) and while driving down the street I passed another Uhaul location which had the 26 foot truck on site. So I pulled into this location to see if I could rent this truck and come to find out they were the one with my actual reservation. This was purely by luck I received my reservation and with absolute no help from Uhaul. I received NO CALL OR EMAIL. Regarding my reservation changed. Extremely disappointed because this would have put me and my family in an extremely hard situation if not for this very lucky circumstance.

Before returning the uhaul I filled the gas tank till it wouldn't let me pump anymore. Engine was turned off while pumping. Returned the key in the drop box even though I returned it alot earlier than 9pm, it was like 2:30pm. The business hours were still open, however, there was a note on the door, "sorry for inconvenience, had to leave so please see the dog groomer next door to check in/check out, etc. Well I was not going ask a dog groomer to check/inspect my uhaul.... I didn't want the uhaul business to say I didn't turn key in, etc. Well, this was Saturday... Then on Monday I got an email that I was charged $21.00 more. Ez fuel sales. My coworker overheard me and said this same thing happened to her, filled the tank of gas all the way and still charged the ez fuel sales. Well me and my coworker both noticed the uhauls at this business has the uhauls backed in to the spots where the front end is on a slight incline so we both realized we pulled in to the spot, not backed in to the spot when we returned. So basically the gas gauge at the gas station due to the uhaul being on even ground, it could not fill past the full mark but boy when they checked my gas gauge I was short and all because I pulled in and the front in of the uhaul tipped downward so the gas shifted and made it seem like I didn't fill. Geez, maybe I should've carried a gas can to the uhaul site on return and once on that hill I should've put more gas. I called two days ago to speak to manager but no one called me back. I'm going on social media and let Ascension Parish know about this scheme. Y'all should be ashamed of running a business this way. Two people went through the same exact thing at the same place..... Coincidence?!?! ... I think not!

The young lady was very nice & helpful BUT the 5 x 8 trailer I ordered the lights did NOT work so I had to settle for a 4X 8 & I could NOT move a book case which was one of my main items we wanted to get to our new home to store things on. I didn't get a lower price for the trouble or and promise of discount for a next move. So, Not a good overall experience! the price was good.

Was charged for 202 miles. Our destination was 51 miles one and 102 round trip. We offload on Thursday night for our show and backloaded Sunday night to come home. No freakin way we went 202 miles!

Poor customer service, took 15 min just to get the paperwork ready to sign. I've rented with Pensky many times previously and never had this kind of problem. The trailer didn't have a jack so it had to be lifted off the hitch by hand which was heavy and posed a injury risk from back strain or accidently dropping it on your feet. Once i got the trailer it took 5 min for someone to open the gate to let me leave. Finally when I opened the trailer there was some garbage and a broke beer bottle in it that I had to clean out before it could be used. overall very poor rental experience, I highly recomend going somewhere else.
