Robin sAgent was helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Gas was stated to be 15/16 full. When vehicle was pulled around, gas was missing and at 1/8 tank. Agent said that thieves must have siphoned gas. "Happens all the time." I was given a $20 gas credit. I bought gas at the station for $73. Since the location changed from my original booking request, this experience left me feeling that the area was unsafe. It also left doubt about the safety of the equipment and increased my fear that the rental truck could be stolen.

matt bThe staff a the Mill Plain Shell was very helpful and courteous. BUT THAT WAS NOT WHERE WE HAD PICKED UP THE TRAILER AND NOT WHERE WE HAD PLANNED TO RETURN THE TRAILER. We had intentionally chosen to pick up and return the trailer at the dealer on 4831 SE Powell Blvd, Portland, OR 97206 because it was closest to where we had to pick up chairs for a wedding. However, we later received notification that we had to return the trailer to the Mill Plain Shell in Vancouver. This added an extra hour to hour and half to my trip. If the trailer was supposed to be in another location it should be U-hauls job to return it to the proper place not the customer's. I called the customer service line at 360-356-1577 to inform them that, no it does not work for me to drop off the trailer at the Vancouver location. I was told that if I did not return the trailer to the Vancouver address that I would have to pay an "expensive fee". I had to drive through Vancouver, drop off the chairs in Portland, then drive back to Vancouver to drop off the trailer, and back through Portland. As it turns out, it may not have even been to correct trailer that I was returning to Vancouver. Not a great day for me.
Gordon BIt's a Shell gas station with some supplies in the back for U-Haul trucks and vehicle transport/towing, but when I drove up someone immediately came to help me by directing me where to go to drop the supplies off. They reminded me to make sure my tank was filled to match what it had been per the contract before dropping it off, and gave clear instructions on what to do if I had to drop it off after hours. When I said I was a bit nervous trying to back the vehicle transport into position myself, one of them offered to drive the truck and get it off for me. I'm very grateful for their help. I wouldn't mind coming back to this location for my next move.
REBEKAH RThere's nothing wrong with this location, but Uhaul in general is awful to work with and they have the monopoly on moving companies so we had no choice. We made the reservation over a month in advance, paid for the truck, the trailer, the Dolly, the movers on both ends. Couldn't get us a Dolly within 30 minutes driving and the movers canceled on one end. So I had to pay another day on the other end, because Uhaul contracts with garbage contractors. And Uhaul had the audicity to ask if I wanted my money back for the contractor or a credit!!! Give me my money back for all of it, how stressful. I HATE MOVING. And if there we other companies than Uhaul I would use them.

Georgialeen PI would not recommend using U-Haul as a company to anybody. I agreed to a particular price, that was confirmed with me when I picked up my truck, and then was charged as extra $120. I spoke to multiple people and this is absolutely unacceptable

James HI was charged $25 for fuel even though we put just as much gas that the uhaul had when we received it. Called about it and the guy gave me the shit out of luck attitude. Would not recommend unless you want horrible customer service and to get ripped off.

Jake NTruck driver as low on engine oil, low on retransmission fluid, low on coolant. If it wasn’t for my mechanic friends that insisted they take a look at it before my 1300 miles trip, chances are the truck wouldn’t make it.

John FWe drove the truck a total of 6 miles. We dropped the key in the overnight drop box ( only using 5 hours of the 24-hour rental) and received the final invoice receipt in our email the next day. I was shocked to find we were charged a surcharge of 6 gallons of gasoline plus a $30 service charge. I know for a fact this truck gets better mileage than one mile per gallon. I feel like this was theft. I am not happy.

David TThey TOTALLY failed to mention the extra $ for the insurance coverage if I go over the 7 days! I would NEVER have gotten any insurance at all if I had been informed it would cost $20+ for every extra day! If uhaul fails to fix this, I will put VERY bad reviews EVERYWHERE I can do a review!!!

However the other location on hwy 99 didn't have the trailer I was scheduled to pickup so they sent me to 4th plain uhaul, which didn't have the uhaul trailer either so they sent me to mill plain to get it finally. If your looking for a trailer in Vancouver choose the mill plain location to avoid unnecessary detours. Mill plain uhaul has great customer service. Highly recommend this location.

GARY RNo problems getting the vehicle but When returning the vehicle the the guy was trying to make me pay for more gas then what was in the truck. He was arguing with me to put more gas like I didn’t know what I signed on the contract challenging my intelligence. I would not recommend this uhaul location to anyone.
