The people at this location were great and very helpful. The rating of poor is because the U-Haul corporation itself did a very very poor job of customer service. I had made an appointment for a date and time at a U-Haul location very close to my home and one I was experienced with and thus comfortable with. A few days after I made the reservation, I was called and asked if I wanted to switch to the Mills Road location to increase business at that location. I said NO and shortly after the call was ended. Days later, the evening before my reservation, I received a text reminding me about my reservation at the Mills Road location. A place I didn’t make the reservation at and had refused to change to this location. The time for my pickup was even wrong. I did pick up at this location though and when I was returning the truck found out my initial quote from my original preferred pickup location had doubled!! This was because of the extra mileage required to drive from the new pickup location and back. A $70 job turned into a $140 job!!!! Because you people in the corporate seats are scamming people for every extra penny you can. Wrong answer U-Haul. I will not use your company again and will advise anyone that is thinking of useing your company to be aware of this scam.

This location was at a little gas station that was way out of town. It also was not the location that I had chosen and was switched without me wanting it to be. The pickup process took over 20 minutes because of technical difficulties. Unsure if the site just wasn’t working or the internet connection was bad and wouldn’t load since the location was in the middle of nowhere.
