Great service! Everything was great

My complaint is more with Uhaul itself. The first place I went to in Nicholls GA was closed, but let me book a trailer there. I never was able speak with the owner of that business. I got a hold of Uhaul and was directed to this Uhaul about 20 minutes away. Once again the owner was not there and had to wait like 15 minutes for the woman to get there (not all her fault being it was a last minute thing). Well my plans got canceled due to a emergency surgery, and I just figured I would take the trailer back Monday (the day it was supposed to be in Vermont). I was never told if I didn't take the trailer up there I would be charged a daily rate instead of my one way trip. I ended up paying over $300 for a trailer to sit in my yard over Thanksgiving. In the process of switching from one spot to the next, they also tacked on $40 of insurance I said I didn't want. Then when I dropped the trailer off the woman said its a good thing you didn't take it, because the numbers didn't match up on the trailer and they wouldn't have taken it where I was dropping it off. Very sad to do business like this. It's the holidays and people are hard on cash, but they can just take a extra $200 from someone and not even care.

Everything was nice and easy. Customer service was great. The truck leaked in the cab really bad, and it was barely starting.
