The old gentleman who runs the shop is extremely rude, and has no customer service skills whatsoever! He left us waiting for check in at the front desk for about 15 minutes, because he was working on a car. He never said â€œhelloâ€, â€œhow are youâ€, â€œhow can I help youâ€, â€œor thank you for renting with usâ€! I hate renting from there, but they always seem to have the truck we need. Please give the other area rental locations more truck, because I refuse to go back there. They are awful, and I would remove my trucks from that location. The customer in front of me was also turned away at check out, they waved him off after waiting as I did for about 10 minutes. He finally got frustrated and left the keys on the counter!Jennifer T.

Truck was not ready when I went to pick it up. Took 20+ Minutes for the guy to come and ask what I was there for. He did not show me where the Uhaul was, and when I asked where it was, he simply said â€œNumbers are on the truck, find it yourselfâ€. I was supposed to pay with cash, but he ended up charging my credit card. I aslo did not know that you had to take pictures of the milage, gas gauge, front and back of the Uhaul. This was never disclosed to me, and got charged another $20 because the rep had to verify it. Will use Uhaul again, but I will not be picking one up from that location again.Donald S.

One man oil change shop, wasn't greeted or even acknowledged for about 15-20 minutes. Customer before me that was having his oil changed actually said to the owner, do you want me to tell him (me) that it'll be a few minutes, owner responded "he'll figure it out". He did not discuss extra charges with me before charging my credit card at the location of pick up. When I asked about why I was given a protection plan- he said it's my insurance but I informed him that I have auto insurance that covers u-haul rental etc and he said he couldn't refund me since he already charged it. Waited over 40 minutes upon arriving before the employee was able to serve me. They are extremely under staffed. Very cramped and dirty waiting area. Their main priority is the lube shop so if you show up for uhaul you are disregard. I completed the check in online before going thinking it would save time at pick up. However with only one customer in front of me it took extremely long before an associate talked to either one of us. Once we were served the employee was very unfriendly and seemed like the customers presents was un welcome. I do not want to bash this company but this is not acceptable. Only good thing I can say was that I was able to rent what I needed and it worked but that sets the bar pretty low for other customers that may not be as patient or understanding as I am.Angelo A.
Truck I received was very old. Passenger window wiper doesn't work right, wasn't installed correctly. Headlights are basically useless, not aimed right and not bright enough to see more than a few feet in front of the truck. The steering was loose and had a loud and noticeable clunk, something is loose. The truck shakes violently at 60+ mph as it needs an alignment and wheels balanced. No cruise control. Driver window doesn't seal properly so it made loud wind noise the whole time. You advertise 8-9 mpg, I only got 4.5 on the highway.David S.
The wait time was a little long for both pickup and drop off, but the owner had other responsibilities changing oil for customers. I can understand the wait and he was fair to each customer, first come first served. I would encourage other customers to read the contract carefully, as mine had insurance that I did not sign up for. When I called Uhaul to rectify this issue, I was on hold for 50 minutes waiting.John C.

Website got confusing when reading the disclaimers at the end of the contract. When I thought I was closing the disclaimer I actually closed the website and had to start over. Some of the information I had provided needed to be re-entered. Not a good process. Insurance got added to my bill - I did not choose it on the website but didn't notice when I signed the paper. Fuel was listed higher than actual so I put in 4 gallons of gas to cover the 16 miles I drove to avoid being charged for returning with less fuel. So I paid $20 more than I should have for the rental. I should have caught these things but trusted the system and staff to be accurate. Staff was friendly and I got the impression they appreciated my business.Michael G.

Had to wait anywhere from 20 minutes to 30 minutes just to speak to a U-haul representative about extending my renting time. Thankfully we made it back by drop off time because I never did get through to someone. Also, our u-haul was nearly empty on fuel when we got it. Not our best experience, but we will keep coming back as we've always had great experiences!DERICK D.

This is now the 2nd time this location has charged me for the Safe Move Insurance even when declined during the reservation process and both times the man at the desk said it could only be removed by calling UHaul, And both times I had to wait for nearly a half hour before even being acknowledged trying to pick up a vehicle. I understand it being a one man operation but this is not the way to represent U Haul. There are far superior locations in our area, too bad more trucks aren't available at the locations that represent U Haul in a positive lightLisa Z.

My reservation was for 10 am, the place was closed when we got there, the guy didn't show up until 10:20 am. Then the guy took another 20 min just to print out the reservation I already had completed on the Uhaul App. He charged me for Safe Move insurance, which I specifically stated on the Uhaul app that I declined insurance. I did not have the extra money for it, I told him to take it off and he said he didn't know how. I only used the truck for less than 1 hour to pick up a washer and dryer less than 3 miles away. Ridiculous to have to pay that much. This is the 3rd time this location has been horrible with renting a Uhaul. Each time we have rented, something goes wrong, or they can't find the reservation, or don't have the proper truck available. Uhaul needs to seriously evaluate this location, as it reflects poorly on your business. This location has bad customer service all the way around.Lucas M.

I was made to wait for 40 minutes outside while the men in the garage finished working on a vehicle. The upsetting part is, they then proceeded to work on 2 more vehicles that pulled up after I did, and didn't even acknowledge my preserve for 25 minutes after I got there, even though I was standing right in front of them. The man that finally did help me only wanted me to have the truck for 24 hours, when my reservation was clearly for 48 hours, and he tried to argue with me until I told him I'll just call U-Haul. After returning the vehicle, they then reported that there was less fuel in the tank than there was. I'll likely never rent a U-Haul again due to this treatment.Karissa T.

The trucks are parked together very close and crowded. Because of this I had no option but to back up the truck into the main road going through town which was not ideal. I would say that all of the trucks were parked in a way that you would have to back them out into the main road or a side road.Douglas W.

I would not recommend this location to anybody. We stood at the counter for 50 minutes waiting to pick up our rental. The location is also an oil change and lube business. There was only 1 person working and he completed oil changes and other car services on other customers vehicles while we stood waiting to pick up the rental. It was the same way at drop off. Also we only had the rental for 3.5 hours but according to the receipt we had the rental for 5 hours. This location does not care about the uhaul customers at all.brenda G.

Cable on door came off sprocket and had to call roadside assistance and lost 2 hrs of moving time. Returned truck during business hours and the gentlemen did not have time to check the truck in.. Asked if was on credit card and said you will get receipt. When I received my receipt it had a$25 cleaning free added. Contacted location spoke with same person that I returned the truck to and asked what required cleaning on the truck.
