There was visible spit inside the cab of the truck on the floor. 2 hours in the transmission began leaking and the truck began struggling to shift gears. We had to return it early as a result. Please schedule this truck for a cleaning and maintenance.Matt S.

Accept debt payments at the end of the rental it is not fair to people that have to pay there rental on a credit card I use my personal credit card to reserve the rental then my business pays it with the debt after it is returned I should not have to use my personal credit card to make the payment.Nathan R.
A walk around was not done. There was less gas in the gas tank than the receipt indicated. I had to go back into the store x5 before I drove off. Inside was clean but the outside had a few inches of snow on it and nothing in the truck to remove snow. I had to check all lights were functional, brakes, back up, headlights, low beam and high beam, signal lights etc. I worked at uHaul in Calgary AB, so I know what I'm writing about. Tires we're not suited for snow here in Northern Ontario. I got the excuseâ€the truck was from Arizonaâ€. So, NO I wasn't satisfied and feel I was overcharged for the amount of rental time. Was supposed to pick it up for 1030 am didnt leave till 1130 am with the vehicle then returned to the location because there was no dolly I ordered and waited another 40 min. I used the vehicle once and returned and still got charged almost 60 dollars for an hour. Ridiculous.Tammy D.
Online check in process did not work on app. Check in process was needlessly invasive. Why exactly did yall need to call and bother my contact persons? I can walk in to a car rental agency with a driver's license and credit card and not have the same hassle. Vehicle was obviously unclean, debris in the back, coffee stains, used masks and gloves and leftover food and supplies in the passenger area. Yall should be paying me a cleaning fee.Alexandra C.
Before leaving from Chelmsford to Dubreuilville I checked all fluids and motor was down in oil by 3 litter of oil so I topped it off , I'm sure most people wouldn't check the fluids so I could have broken down on side of the hwy with a blown engine, besides that all went well .GILLESD D.

Clerk tried to overcharge me on the km used he said the truck is in mileage yes it is but I still only drove 81km I drive it weekly so I know the km. He said the computer charges by mileage which is fine but I still know exactly the km I used. Double check your bill let's just say accidents can happen.Steve S.

I was charged 241.00 with a holding fee of 100.00, the employee saidnInshould contact younguys to see about getting a refund because he believes I was overcharged. We used the truck and we used it just for 4 kilometers but we were charged 141 and with 100 dollar holding fee it came to 241.00. We arrived home with the truck. We had help to start loading only to find a UHaul lock on the loading door. After several phone calls to customer service and road side assistance , finally a decision was made to have lock cut off. It took 6 hours for them to arrive. We lost our help for loading. We were only granted a refund of $50 and no charge for the extra day. We do not feel this was adequate compensation for the stress and extra work we had to do. We need to do another move in a few weeks and would appreciate a discount on this next rental or we will find another rental company. Would appreciate hearing from you. The service at the pickup location was slow, personnel did not seem very familiar with the software for the rental. How did they do their checks of vehicle and miss that a lock remained on the back door?Pat D.

The lady I initially picked up the truck from, was pleasant and kind. The man I spoke with at drop off was arrogant and rude. (Amit Parmar) I would not rent or recommend rental from this location as long as this person is working there. He did not explain anything, he was annoyed when I asked to pay with a debit card and would not allow me to have a paper receipt.. "it will be mailed" was all he kept repeating. I was charged $55.00 more than he quoted (to my credit card) but had to wait on hold for 20 minutes to find out why, and that it will be adjusted after a few business days. This should have been explained when settling the bill on site. Very irritated and frustrated with this level of service.DONALDGJ G.

Problems with dealers not being able to find booking on their systems. At both pickup and drop off dealers has to call home to get reservation information.SAM L.
Location rented my reservation out to any customer when it clearly indicated my name on the reservation. Was given a $50 credit and had to wait til the next day to get my vehicle of choice. I'm from out of town so I had to book a hotel room for the night. Once I received my rental which was a pickup truck with a hitch and ball. Well, I drove out to my location to tow my two trailers and the 2â€ ball was removed from the truck and then I had to drive 75 Kms to pick up a 2â€ ball and after all this running around. When I returned the vehicle the representative was so rude and could care less about me as he served other customers and dismissed me. Furthermore, I missed my 7pm reservation on the chichimaun ferry. I had to stay in an another hotel for the night. $197 hotel and $155 hotel charge cause my reservation was given away to another customer. I received his U-Haul receipt and it still had my name and contact info on the receipt. Not too impressed to say the least.Robert L.
I booked the truck rental in the start of the week and when sunday came i called an hour before to see if they might of brought the truck back early and they rented out my truck and did not call me, she had to cancel another appointment and gave me a cargo van instead (i was okay with but still was not the pickup truck i reserved) and when i got in the van there was receipts everywhere, tim hortons cups in the back, USED KLENEX'S IN THE SIDE OF THE DOOR ASWELL AS A MASK NEXT TO THE SEAT, completely irresponsible due to this corona virus outbreak, which shows me the truck was not cleaned or sanitized before they gave me the keys, im not saying the person before me had the virus, but its the fact they could of potentially allowed the virus to spread. They also told me that i could drop off the key at 8 before the store closes or i could wait until they open the next day (due to the fact uhaul buisness hours are 9-5)pm, and when i got there they told me i was red flagged and would have to pay an extra day(late fee) Completely irresponsible and situations like this CANNOT happend. i understand it is not uhauls fault, but it makes me unsure if this is the procces in other stores... i will never be renting another vehicle from that location or recommending their store. I hope there is a follow up with the store on there cleaning policy. (I have all pictures showing the state of the cargo van when i first picked it up)kingsley S.

The uhaul representative we spoke to on pick up was amazing. We tried to do online check in but after 15 minutes of waiting for approval for an online agent to check our ID we had to go in to get our reservation which was a very long ordeal because the system said our self serve reservation was in process and would not allow her to finalize it. She was very friendly though. When we returned the uhaul we had to return the dolly rented as well. We locked it in the truck and told the attendant that it was there. He said we had to bring it into the shop ourselves. After explaining the door was locked and we had already dropped our key in the drop box he tossed me the drop box key and told me I had to bring it inside. After bringing it inside he then told us we couldn't park it in a parking spot and we had to bring it to the alley even though we dropped it off exactly where we picked it up. All of this while waiting for him to finish with customers so again a simple ordeal turned into a half an hour ordeal. With the whole online ordeal on pick up that took over 45 mins to pick up our van which should have been quick as advertised online. Our only bright side was the first attendant who helped us out when the online reservation system was not working for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had our equipment.Cameron G.

Make it more accessible for those that do not have credit cards or even a phone to download the app. 1) At first I gave my MasterCard, she said it would not be accepted (as most MasterCards did not work she said) 2) I had to use my data overage to download the link Get back to cash payments, or even debit payments and manual paper work. Quite a hassle. Fair Prices though and quick service, but just the process was not for elderly who do not own a phone, or for those that only have debit cards. I understand it is for insurance reasons, but make some compromise.Raquela Q.

It is VERY hard to navigate on the website!! It is NOT "user friendly"!! You can NOT complete your reservation on line, and MUST call to reserve your trailer! U-Haul also told us to return the trailer 40 minutes away from our final destination!! We then HAD to call to change locations!! The new location was still 20 minutes away!! We found it VERY frustrating!! It ALSO said on our confirmation email, that all expenses were in US funds!! So, I called again to make SURE the total bill was in Canadian funds!! Contract referred to having equipment returned clean inside as well as box (ordered pick up truck). When picked up, interior was filthy (dog hair, mud, food, interior windshield extremely dirty) as well there was debris in the truck box which I had to remove fro my use.. One windshield wiper on the truck was torn in half and rained for my entire rental - not very safe for travel.Jay J.

The location did not have anyone available to assist me with hooking up the trailer. The trailer did not have a jack and I had to physically lift it onto the hitch, a very high risk injury situation. On the first night of travel the lights on the trailer did not work. I had to stop on the side of the road and repair the wiring on the trailer. The wire connections were very poorly done and it was a dangerous situation on the side of the road. Will likely not use Uhaul again.Rick D.

PLEASE PARK THE TRUCK SO THAT IT CAN BE DRIVEN OUT (rather than backed out). The 26' truck was parked on a puddle of ice with another rental truck parked directly behind it. There was no place to turn around, so the only way out was to back up around the corner of the building while avoiding the other truck. I don't drive big trucks. I'm not used to it. Also, I had no traction on the ice. It was brutal. I wanted to say lots of nasty things about UHaul. The cashier at the location was friendly and did her best to help, but didn't understand the trucks very well and couldn't do much.EVAN L.

Uhaul needs to update their lost of locations. I ran to 3 separate addresses all over town before we found the one I was renting from because the one I originally booked with had moved and the building was abandoned. Then I did some digging and found the second address for the location that is actually marked on my contract only to find it was the wrong one as well. Thankfully someone finally picked up the phone at the number that confirmed my reservation and I found the correct address.Cliff F.

My U-Haul appointment was screwed up multiple times. I was supposed to be notified if it became available earlier after all the screw-ups and I was not. And no one helps me connect my trailer until after I asked. Worst service I've ever had from Uhaul. I have half a mind never to deal with Uhaul again. The problem wasn't solely with the location, as it was with the U-Haul company itself.Amanda M.
Rented an Auto Hauler, needs 2 running lights on front areas of wheel covers, both out or not working, and also needs new tires, as they were worn out - trailer was licenced from Alabama or a southern US state.
