This location is a MOTEL. There were people milling around and it felt very unsafe. The man working told us to drop the trailer and that's all - 3 days later he had yet to check it in and we had to work through Uhaul corporate. All ended fine but it wasn't easy.Amy S.
Trailer not ready despite advance reservation. Waited 40 minutes and finally pushed it out myself to allow hook up to my vehicle. Had people waiting to help me move and was ultimately delayed an hour. Plug for trailer lights damaged (looked like they had been run over) and did not properly plug into my adapter. Facility requires customer to remain outdoors entire time and trying to hear what they were saying through window while traffic is driving on nearby road was difficult. Told me out of a widow to park it up the hill between two trucks. Absolutely no help. Had to find a block of concrete to chock the wheels. Removing the tongue of the trailer is not easy after 6 back surgeries. Pick up was awesome, drop off Absolutely sucked.WILLIAM E.

Vehicle had horrible tires. The front was dirty and had a cigarette lighter in the front. Truck broke down. Took 5 hours for repair. Missed the leading office because it closed and also missed moving guys due to the 5-hour delay. Leading office didn't reopen until Monday. U-haul paid for ONE night of accommodations and it took them over three hours to make a reservation after I told them I was traveling with a person whose insulin needed refrigerating. They also only paid for one night after I advised them the leading office would not re-open until Monday AND the moving guys couldn't get to me fir rescheduling sake until then! Not only that, the last customer rep I spoke with on the phone was rude. The service representative in store was also rude when i went to return the truck. I said â€œI'm here to return the truck. She advised â€œyou need to go talk to the people outside,â€ while on her cellphone. I would NEVER recommend uhaul to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy.Gwendolyn B.

all people involved so far were wonderful, However hat little box van is crap. It liked to have beat us to death, injured my tailbone and at one point bouned my head into the ceiling Extremely rough riding with a light load on. worse empty. I really do not want to blast owner, because overall she was very nice. The pick up of the truck was almost an hour later after I arrived (not sure why it took so long)the moving blankets and dolly that my wife had requested were not even available at this location. Although I was told â€œI could go to other location and get themâ€ this wasn't very practical since it was on the other side of town which would cost me even more money for mileage and more wasted time paying the movers that were already an hour late and even more rushed since I had a certain time frame that I could move in. The truck was great and very clean, but other than that it wasn't the greatest experience. I do not think I have even written a customer review before in my life, but the customer service seemed to be lacking and I hope they can get it right.Chris C.

I was greeted with very friendly and attentive management that made the process as easy as could be. On 12/5/20, I rented a 17' truck with an appliance dolly for a two day move. No problems and I would highly recommend Moon Winx Motel location to anyone who needs moving equipment in the Tuscaloosa, AL area. Thanks again for all your help.Anthony S.

Checking in and out on line is the pits! The 1-800 calls are a waste of time! I stayed on hold 23 minutes and finally hung up. I tried to check in on line and the computer was so slow. Me and the pick up location manager waited outside in the hot sun over 40 minutes! Finally a" Chat" person responded and said "we have 15,000 people trying to pick up now we will be with you as soon as we can". Really????? Next time I will forgo the online way.Pam C.

Two UHaul trucks including the one I returned in the motel parking lot. Not in the greatest section of town. The Home Depot parking lot near the University had to of had 20 Penske trucks as the return location. Even if more $, I'll go Penske next time.RON M.

When I picked up the truck, the hand truck and Pads that I ordered were not available. I had to drive to another Uhaul location to get those items which cost me over an hour. The Uhaul location was not clean. Further, the pickup location was NOT the location I requested on line. The pickup location provided me with my bill and said nothing about the missing items. I had to figure out the items were missing by reviewing the truck. Terrible pickup experience.JONATHAN B.
First, I know this location was a new location and we were only their "second rental", but they were totally unprepared for the job. Sorry. If the area manager had not arrived and fixed things I fear we would not have gotten our rental. Secondly, the night before our rental, our pickup location was changed from a location within walking distance from our loading address, to this Moon Winx Motel all the way across the bridge and in the city (and a bad part of town to boot). I will never use U-Haul again since this is the third time in the last five years that a LAST MINUTE pickup change by your company has caused us undue hassle and inconvenience. Y'all have lost your customer service focus. Too bad. There are other companies out there who want our business.William P.
