My first "Guaranteed" reservation was given away to a walk in customer. So, UHAUL wanted me to drive an hour away to another location for my pickup. Instead, I rescheduled to the following week at the original location. On the day of the second pickup, the truck I wanted wasn't there, so I was given a larger truck. The clerk handed me the key and said the truck was somewhere out in the yard and that if I walked around looking I would eventually find it. I was surprised they didn't inspect it with me before I drove away. I had also reserved a dolly to move my furniture, but they had given all of those away as well. So, I had to make a stop at the local hardware store to buy a dolly. What's the point of making a guaranteed reservation if they don't hold on to the equipment? The staff at this UHAUL location obviously didn't care about me or my move and they had no problem telling me that there was nothing they could do. When I asked for suggestions of help, they told me there was nothing they could do. I'll be picking another truck rental company next time.
Otis DThe trailer that was provided was not the trailer that I had reserved. Ended up being a problem on the road. Had a huge negative effect on my gas mileage. And I felt like it was not as safe as what I had signed up for.

Victoria HThe trailer was missing the right tailgate latch-pin. Not a big deal for me because I was only hauling yard waste to a nearby landfill, but could be a risk for someone moving heavier loads. I noted the missing pin at check-in and am sure it will be replaced. Moose's by the Creek is a great locations that I have used many times and will use again.
Sam HWell considering I was quoted ~$1000 for the trip and then was charged $1400 I am not happy nor will I ever use U-Haul every again. A 40% increase is unacceptable. Penske for the rest of my life when I move.
Carl GI discovered that the driver’s side windshield wiper came off during the storm on Sunday night. It was dangerous and difficult to see.

John WThe person who checked me in did a great job. Very efficient. Overall, the facility is a bit sketchy. There were very large pot holes in the entry area to the parking area. It's located next to what appears to be a strip joint - not the most appealing to a female. The tires on the trailer seemed to be brand new but the trailer itself had seen better days. We drove through torrential rain when driving for three days from Virginia to New Mexico. The trailer leaked some water but not enough to damage my belongings.

sharon bQuick & easy process for pick up & return. I think the availability list needs to be updated tho cuz I saw 6 of the unit that I originally wanted in the lot when dropping off the trailer. No big deal since I didnt end up really needing a bigger unit as it turned out.
Victoria FThe truck worked very well. The dash lights would come on just as it was cranked then went off. We drove in the day so this did not bother us. Also, the shock on the passenger side rear must be gone because with every bump in the road it slammed hard. We reported this to the man who received the truck in Littleton, Co.

Wayne BMy comment doesn't have anything to do with the location. I think all of your double axle trailers need to have a tongue jack. They can be extremely difficult to lift. I'm sure they cause injuries.

RAMESH SWhile I appreciated the gesture, the previous customer left the truck on 1/8th of a tank (about 19 miles til empty). I was informed that if I return the truck with at least 1/4 tank, I would be refunded almost 17 dollars. At current gas prices, it costs more than 17 dollars to put 1/4 tank in a U-Haul. I would be better returning it at the original 1/8th tank. But other than that, which I still consider an "intended kindness", the pickup and return process was commendable.
