The trucks at every location are always dirty. This time was no different. There were no dollies or furniture pads at all, so that part of our reservation could not be fulfilled. Our reservation was for another location, but that truck was not available. Staff was nice, but couldn't do much for us.Leona S.

To double check mechanical issues before issuing the vehicle. Tried to start the uhaul truck, but the battery was dead. To have a half tank of gas as required when the truck is ready for rent. When I returned the Uhaul truck in Galveston with the same amount of gas (1/4 tank) as when I picked it up, I did not know that before renting that the gas was supposed to be 1/2 tank.Dong L.

I dropped it off after hours so I checked it in with my mobile device, having to take photos and submitting everything to the website and all, turned out to be easy but sure has changed from the days of just dropping off the keys in the box and I did leave a notice for a repair needed on the truck and stopped by the next day to make sure it was noticed and they already submitted it for a mechanic to make the necessary repairs, they are on top of things..the truck was clean, ran good and the air conditioner worked great, really needed it going from Ohio to Louisiana, I will definitely use U-haul again in the future.Jerome D.

The lady that was working at this location on the day we went in was very nice. I was told if we didn't use our rental the extra day we would get our money back. Well that's not true. Then to deal with the people at U-Haul over the phone is less than friendly. My person was extremely rude. I hope I never have to rent from U-Haul ever againTodd D.

I dropped my uhaul on the day they was closed and got a phone call from uhaul two days later saying it wasn't there. Come to find out, the uhaul was rented to someone else the day I dropped it off and it wasn't checked in.MELISSA R.
The lady manning the desk was a replacement. She didn't have passwords for their system to pull up the booking. We did the 'mobile' option when booking - but the site had not 'assigned' the truck ahead of time. (Booking was made more than 48 hours in advance). The lady was super nice and helpful, but was left at a very clear disadvantage. She had to call someone at a support desk and have him do the 'assignment' remotely for us. Took way too much time. AGAIN - not the lady manning the desk's fault. She did everything she could to get us on the road. The site seems to not be well managed and left her in a bad spot.Brian W.

The lady running the counter took 45 minutes to figure out the rental even though the trailer was already there and I completed the express checkout online. It was very frustrating because I had to finish packing for a move. The trailer had multiple running lights out and the harness had a short in it that blew a fuse for my turn signal/brake light.Sam B.
I was informed to drop off at another location by the Customer Service Agent, then informed the next day that I needed to return the truck to the location I originally rented it from. I returned the truck with the needle below 1/4 as it was when I picked it up and was charged an extra $30 the following day, then an additional $38 2 days later.DELISHA B.

We were supposed to pick up at 7:30 am arrived and was unable to use phone pick up. Had to wait until 9 am when open and talk to personwotmu g there. The woman working there stated she was off work the day before and did not put key in uhaul, that is why we couldn't get truck at 7:30am. The woman never apologized. Local location was great, uhaul dropped the ball on having the truck I reserved ready, got confirmation to go to Green well springs store for pick up a 8:00am when I got there at 8, they said they had no trucks, uhaul employee was rude and really did care I drove an hour to pick up a truck that was never there in the first place, he then told me that there was a truck at the Gonzales about 5 minutes from my house, also, return app is terrible fix it!Nathan D.
I will never use this site again. Worker never showed up to work. Truck was not prepared for self rental. 800-uhaul gave me the run around all day. Made 4 blank trips to office and never received a truck to move. Wasted 4 hours of my move time.Shareka K.

At the drop off location, it was closed when we arrived, so we left a note in the drop box about the situation with the mattress and box spring. We left them in the u haul. Next thing I know I was charged 82.00 from them for the removal of the wet mattress. I got screwed coming and going. Of course I could not get anyone on the phone anywhere! This is my second year renting from this Uhaul company during Girl Scouts Cookie Season. Last year's reservation and rental was perfect. This year I rented a 20', but I was given a 10' with no mention or explanation of why I wasn't being given what I reserved. The rental was completed very close to 5 pm on Friday so I just received the keys, never taking the time to look at the truck. When I arrived on Saturday morning to get the truck, that's when the problem was noticed. It was a huge problem for us, several cars still had to follow the uhaul to pick up the almost 700 cases of cookies. After three large sized vehicles were full, the remaining were put in the uhaul... it barely fit, but I guess everything happens for a reason.Rhonda T.

The Move It Store on Hwy 44 in Gonzales is run so smoothly by Angela and Wendy. They are both so helpful and totally customer service oriented. Everything goes quickly and smooth even when there is Customer buildup in the store. I am very impressed and would recommend this store to everyone.JEREMY H.
I dropped off my 20 ft rental truck and made sure everything inside and out was spotless and clean. The drop off location , without my permission charged my credit card $ 40 with NO just cause. After calling Move It self storage , their representative told me I was charged for unfolded blankets. I have never had any U-Haul location charge me for this Bogus reason. I consider this charge a scam and a dishonest charge by a location trying to take advantage of hard working honest customers like myself ! Well today they have met their match ! I wont stand by and let some dishonest business make unjustified and unapproved charges to my card!ALAN L.
We ordered a 20' truck and part way through thought we needed to go up to a 26'. I called to see if any were available and if we could come in and switch them, obviously paying more money which was fine. I couldn't get an answer so I called your main 800 number. I was told that they would contact them and have them call me back. They didn't call until several HOURS later after we had already made due somehow and even gave a few items away to the moving help guys. I realize it is only a storage place and not a UHaul dealer but they should carry a cell phone and answer their phone during business hours or called back fairly quickly. Then on the drive, the right side mirror (which was taped and marked with X's) started wiggling and vibrating and was about to fall off so we bought heavy duty tape and taped it up more securely and it stayed on. Before we did that my husband was having a very hard time passing and changing lanes because the vibration was preventing him from seeing. We had to drive behind him in the other car and flash our lights at him when he needed to move into another lane because he didn't know if there was someone else there or not.Frank H.
