KEVIN FRep did not come out to check vehicle or review where controls were. He did not make any recommendations/suggestions as to what extra equipment might be wise to rent along with the van. The van’s warning light that it would need an oil change came on immediately.
JOEL HHad problems with the truck. It had no oil. When brought to their attention they ignored me. Lucky it made it to my location but I was sick the entire drive due to the heavy smell. My trip also took an hour longer because it kept on stalling.

Edward MCustomers should be notified on the website when the location will be closed when the employee is unavailable. I was told that the contract and receipt would be emailed to me but I never received it. I only received confirmation of my reservation and this survey.
Victor TBetter computers, better software, and/or more tech training for staff are needed. We reserved a cargo van online. First, the staff could not find my reservation under my first or last name, and they said they could not look up my reservation under my confirmation number either. They had to make a phone call to verify my reservation. And then there was something wrong with the computer or something wrong with the internet connection, and they could not enter my drivers license information into the computer. We sat and waited around 15 minutes and decided that I should go pick up some lunch while my husband waited for the van. They were eventually able to add my husband’s drivers license info into their computer, and when my husband asked if I would also be allowed to drive the van, the staff said yes and waved a photocopy of my drivers license in the air, but it seemed they were never able to enter my drivers license into the computer. If I drove the Uhaul and got Into an accident, my name would not be in the computer and what are the odds the company would have any record that I was supposed to be a driver on the rental agreement? The staff was very nice but there were multiple computer problems.

Anthony AThis place will so shady. Make sure you check the mileage and tank, or else the employee will scam you on that and you’ll have to pay for more than what you used. I rented a van and traveled from New Hyde Park to Hicksville and maybe MAXIMUM travelled 25 miles total. This worker told me that I drove over 57 miles. Not to mention the tank wasn’t even full. I had to pay extra for gas plus the extra “miles” I didn’t even drive. Don’t bother going here, might as well go to a different location. I will never go here again, people will do anything for money.

Jerome SMake sure to check ID before renting vehicle - I had a reservation for 4:15 and someone arrived a few hours before that but rented the van under my name, and there was a contract issued in my name with all of my personal information, and when I arrived to pick up the van which I really needed, it had already been rented to someone else, and there were no UHauls available ANYWHERE as a replacement
