When you send a text message CHANGING-the pick up location title it â€œChange to reservationâ€ if there is a change! I had a change to both the pick up location and the time from what I requested on my reservation and did not read the text message because I thought it was just a confirmation of me picking up from my preferred location based on my reservation and not new information therefore I showed up to my preferred location at my preferred time. If the text message would've started with â€œchangeâ€, I would have paid closer attention to the text message. Just a thought.Julie K.

Hi just writing to let you guys know that the truck had problems during my move. I tried calling the customer service road side assistance and it took a while for someone to answer. Then when someone finally answered I was hung up on. The trucks engine light came on as soon as I got to rainier Oregon after picking it up from scappoose. The whole way to Woodburn Oregon the truck kept jerking hard and making allot of noise from engine or transmission not sure. There was smoke coming out from bottom and when I would stop it felt like it wanted to keep going and made allot of noise. I've rented allot of uhauls and this was the first bad experience I've had.SANDY G.
Well, my 15' was changed to a 20' w/out asking! (BEN). Had selected size for destination parking lot (apt) and driving comfort. The office lady was helpful & pleasant, called SH for 15' inventory (none), no problem with her at all. Truck sounded like it needed oil or a change - a lot of chatter in the engine, which made me even more nervous. Then I received a call Wed. asking when I was planning on returning the truck???? I dropped it off same day! (SAT) Put paperwork & keys in the box by the office door as instructed. We're very limited out here, so I have to recommend.Denise H.

When we tried to pick up the trailer we ordered the tail lights were broken. We had to take a TRUCK!! It meant finding someone to drive our car home to California while we drove the truck. $$$ All could have been avoided if they had the trailer we ordered in good condition and ready to pick up and drive away.Kenneth P.
Changed truck pick up location just before I was scheduled to pick up the truck. After rented truck loaded and on our way, uhaul called and changed the drop off location. Each change was a different city than our reservation and completely outside our move adding days to our move. On top of that, they attempted to charge a late fee and mileage to our bill after agreeing to giving us extra time for pick up and drop off for the truck. In the end, after a terse conversation, it didn't cost much extra but certainly leaves a bad taste in your mouth when their on hold recording that plays when you attempt to call them advises you that the conversations are recorded so uhaul can keep promises made. As I learned, when you make a reservation, uhaul does not have to honor that reservation. I will certainly look at another company for any future equipment rentalsBlayden W.

Fortunately the person at the location was extremely helpful. This was our second location. The first location did not have the truck we had reserved and couldn't guarantee us one that day at all. After talking to uhaul our reservation was transferred to the second location but we had to take a smaller truck, wait an hour and a half and go to the next town over which resulted in more mileage. While we were happy with Pacific NW Buildings. We were unhappy with the overall uhaul experience.Justen J.

Truck did not have a full tank of gas as stated on the contract. The oil change light was on. I drove to the Tigard U-Haul and they were unable to reset it. They did spend time going over the truck and said it is good to drive.Michael B.
