Had a 10:00am reservation I made the week before! Was called a half hour before pickup that it wouldn't be available until 12:30pm. Also was charged $8.00 extra for insurance I had declined when I made the reservation.Michael J.

After driving the truck I found out that their was a water leak coming in the cab through the seat belt shoulder harness also found that I had water that came in the back right part of the truck that was leaking water as well.Jeffery W.

The padlock that came with the truck when I picked it up confused the staff at the drop-off location - according to them, padlocks and combination locks don't come standard on the trucks. The matter was resolved quickly and without incident, but ensuring protection measures are consistent across different locations would mitigate future confusion.David A.

As of this typing I still never received my final statement/receipt of what was charged to my account. I dropped off the truck at about 2:15 & was told that she was finishing another order and that within 30 minutes she would mark that the truck was returned and I would get my receipt.. via email or text..STEPHANIE P.
People were nice, truck was fine although it had a tire pressure warning light on. My issue was with the disorganization and computer problems the staff seemed to have. I had to give them my credit card number 3 times-each time they repeated it back out loud-seems like there could be a safer more private way to do that. I asked on the phone and in person what the approximate cost would be-due to the disorganization not only did they never tell me, but I hung up the phone/left the office having not asked them again so not knowing what the charges might be (ie rental is 19.95 and 1.29 per mile etc) My husband said he was about to call and make sure I was okay it had taken so long. Again, the staff was nice but it was not a great experience overall.KELLY ANN G.

Both upon arrival and drop off the app for mobile pick up did not work. We had to wait 20 minutes each time for the app to work. The gentlemen that was living in the motorbike behind the building was minorly helpful as he was in a bathrobe and offered to manually check us in (â€œif it doesn't eventually workâ€)after I informed him the app wasn't working. Unless it's winter and we don't want to go down the hill we probably won't use this location again.Collin V.
I booked the truck online several days prior. When I got to the store, the truck I rented had already been rented to someone else. They had another truck available, but that was listed as "out of service" due to a repair. I waited around for 30 minutes while they worked it out. I am a senior & nobody at the store was wearing a mask per the statewide mandate. I felt unsafe the entire time. The windshield was filthy. Fortunately, it cleaned off easily with the windshield washer. I am very disappointed at the service I received. Your processes need to be improved.MICHAEL K.
I have rented UHaul trucks in so many states over the years and this was perhaps the best experience I have ever had. The process was quick and easy, affordable and Rhonda was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I'd recommend the Palouse UHaul to anyone!JULIE GAIL L.

Myself and two other individuals had a Uhaul reserved for 9/19 @ 8am. We all promptly arrived on time to pick up our uhauls to find that no one was there. We all waited for about 30 minutes before someone showed up. Then when someone did he had no idea how to use the computer and couldn't help us. When asked if he could call someone to walk him through the process, he responded with someone will be here soon. About 8:45 the lady who could help us walked in. No discount was offered for the delay. She kept saying how she wasn't awake yet and tired. Which was very frustrating considering we were all on time and had moving to do. I will never use this store again to rent a uhaul and I will advise anyone considering to not use them. It was all poorly handled.Nick H.

(In person and phone tech support) The manager at the store was great with this rental and has been a pleasure to work with the multiple times we've rented (and will in the future) Many thanks to the customer support tech who patiently walked me through the Uhaul Online Reservation/Checkout system and website. Great Phone Tech Support! (The multiple location permission settings online using mobile Android Chrome seemed to cause me most problems, as well as a somewhat hidden selection button in the checkout/key lockbox access screens...minor issues for sure) Thanks again!STEVEN ROBERT N.

Showed up there and when I did the login online it told me that it couldn't access my current location and then location on my phone. It was on. Called and was on hold for about ten minutes. Hung up. Luckily my husband got his phone to get the location services to work. We find the truck. No lock box! I call and am on hold again for another ten minutes or so. They tell me that I have to go to another location since the lockbox is missing which was across town. There were plenty of other trucks there but I couldn't use them because they were all reserved for my 2 hour window which I find hard to believe. I told them to cancel it because we didn't have time to do that. We had to move a couch for my grandma and we only had a short window. Then I get a charge for $318! Terrible experience. Get it together! Don't use this location. If you can avoid uhaul altogether you should. I've had issues with them in the past.Marjorie S.

Another customer and I waited from 8 am (the posted opening time) until 9:15 before anyone showed up to open the office. At least five other customers showed up and left without renting during that time. When the young man got there, there were no apologies or explanations, he just acted as if 9:15 was opening time.Al K.

With the u-haul app I was there over 2 hours trying to pick up my truck. With the help of the owner I did finally get the keys and on my way. I returned it 24 hours later and was charged for an extra day. JeremyJeremy S.
Dropped keys in drop box afterward THEN discovered needs app to verify. I dislike having to use Internet and get out my phone and dicker around and click boxes and use data and stand there like an idiot in a location that doesn't even have good cell service. If a real person isn't on the menu, at least give customers an option they can use to return a truck that doesn't "require" a cell phone. Or, let them know at rental a cell phone is REQUIRED for return so at least it's not some kind of rude surprise. I had to call customer service to get past the Uhaul website crashing and simply return the truck.GRAHAM G.

The truck was NOT clean at all! We had to drive 2 hours out of our way to pick up the uhaul when we originally had our reservation scheduled for our home town. When we got the call about this issue they were incredibly rude and threatened to cancel our reservation if I didn't comply with what they wanted. They refused to have us inspect it before driving off the lot. They forgot to give us a cord to connect the lights from the trailer to the Uhaul but because they didn't do an inspection I had to pay extra for the cord. We will NOT be using Uhaul EVER again!! I would rather haul my things by hand than use their "service" again!!JENNIFER M.

After driving off the lot, I discovered that the back of truck was not swept out. There was some broken glass and food items (think M&M's) left over from prior rental. Seeing this, I'm not sure if the cab of the truck was cleaned. My prior rental from a different location, had dated sticker in the cab, stating that it had been cleaned and disinfected prior to my rental. Hopefully this was just a one-time mistake. Other than that, the service was great. The checkout and return process was easy. I will use again, but confirm the truck was cleaned before driving off the lot.Steven A.

When I went to pick up my rental truck and utility dolly, the staff informed us the size of truck we rented didn't have a ramp. We then asked to return the dolly and she agreed. We were still charged for the dolly and no return contact from them!George F.
