My rental had very bad brakes..not to bad when empty but when loaded the brakes were almost non existance..had to get off interstate highway and take backroads making my trip twice as long and costing more from extra milage..I was supposed to get a truck with a ramp because of disability and had no ramp..very poor service..probably won't rent from uhaul againJames S.

Check engine light was on initially but gas cap was not screwed on. Light went off after gas cap was fastened properly.Alan S.
The only improvement that I would suggest would be to possibly pave. level, or otherwise make the area in which the equipment is parked flat to prevent the many deep potholes & ruts where water collects. There were so many deep potholes full of rainwater and surrounded by mud that the area not only soaked my shoes, but the mud was very slippery and became a fall danger. Had this not been the case, I would have given the location a rating of excellent.Frank K.

The inside of the cab was very dirty. Sauce and stains everywhere. I had to wipe most of it out just to drive in it. The back of the truck wasn't swept out. It was very dirty.Gary T.

Rented the truck for 4-5 days I feel like there should Be a special for renting that many days in a row I spent probably almost $500 for those days .ALYCIA M.
I was not able to check the truck out myself as advertised by uhaul.com. The website failed to work because I was 20 minutes late checking out the truck. That is ridiculous. I should be able to check the truck out at any time! Fortunately the office in Sharon stayed open longer to accommodate and checked the truck out to me and they did great. If uhaul can fix this website issue, they will be more user friendly and will earn 5 stars.CHRISTOPHER M.

Is was disgusting the smell as well as how dirty the truck was on the inside of the truck where I had to sit . I had to clean the truck with bleach and spray Lysol in it. The location was fine. We did not receive the furniture mats like we paid for. The biggest pain was the 25 minute check-in to pickup the truck. It didn't tell us which box our key was in, so we had to put the code in all 3. I called customer service and they charged my card twice. It couldn't find my reservation. The whole reservation process was awful. Then when we finally got home with the truck, I was on hold for another 25 minutes to tell them about the mats and the double charge.Briana R.

Your on line system is a TOTAL JOKE. I could not finish the registration on line, I could not make any changes to my reservation and then, when I thought I was going to have to check the truck back in after hours, I was not able to since the system was STILL screwed up and was going to be charged an extra fee since I would have to return the next morning to finish the check in process. THREE other people in that office has the SAME PROBLEM. However the crew running the Penn Ohio Storage office were amazing!!!! Kudos to Michael and Luanne for all their hard work to help your customers. Get it together UHaul..great on line concept but it totally bombs in real life.JANET B.
Picked up rental in a rainstorm and the parking lot was flooded. Had to wad thru 5 in water to get to truck. Feet/ shoes soaking wet. Also told office would be open on labor day and it was not. Was not prepared for on line checkin and this delayed my pick up by 45 min until they worked through everything and got key. A very poor run outfit !! We also have schedules and deadlines!Shane W.

The online pickup is awful...it took forever then is stopped working. The lady working had to call me from her phone and do everything. I scanned my id days ahead of time, only for it to ask me to do it that day..which wasnt working. The person on the online chat was no help. Because of this we got behind with moving. The lady at the location Luanne..was super friendly and helpful..and helped me the next day retrieve my phone that I left in the truck. I really liked the location..but not the online pickup..which i understand is to keep people safe in this time.Shannon R.
Truck was nasty dirty on the inside. Floorboards has dirt and cheese on them. Truck hasn't been cleaned at all. Picked up the truck with quarter tank of gas in it returned it half full. The checkout procedure needs to be fixed. It's broken. I understand that the virus is a big deal but come on where is the customer service. Call the 800 number and they helped me after 20 minutes of being on hold. Thank God for you right call center walking me through the pick up produces. Will go with Ruder next time.Michael T.
