Gas gauge working improperly. Ran out of gas on the 10 at 2 a.m. had to get help from Sun City a 2 1/2 hour drive to get gas to the truck. The clerk didn't really understand what to do for the rental process. (I used to be a mover contracted with moving help so I know how the rental process normally goes) the truck was clean and ready to go, the clerk was kinda messy. His store was definitely dirty/ nasty. Bugs everywhere, clearly labeled expired food etc... I guess I wouldn't have minded being in a sketchy store if I didn't have to be there so long while he figured it outMITCHEL H.

Only 1 person working, his computer slow. Charged for extra miles upfront - credited back unused at end. But still, explanation that was how he was taught, it was standard to charge for 50 mi a day. I have used other uhaul dealer -never been told that.LINDA M.

1st of all I did my contract online and when I got there I got there The guy said he didn't have the contract but he had my information in front of him and he had to restart over the process. Then when I finally did get the truck I got in and put my hand on the steering wheel and there was sticky all over it don't know what it was but it was gross. The truck had not been sanitised the front windshield was so filthy with the haze that I had a hard time seeing Especially when the Sun was hitting it. The truck had damage on the rear Fender but he didn't tell me about that I had to tell him. I took pictures of all of this period u-haul I expected better from you..Cathy F.

I was very pleased with the service I received at this location. When a different uhaul provider couldn't guarentee the type if 5x8 trailer I needed, this provider went out of his way to get it for me. Upon pick up he took care of attaching the trailer to my car and verified the lights were working properly.Barbara K.

Check all tires. I had a blow out 2 hours into my move I was stuck on the highway for 4 hours until I got help it was very difficult to get in touch with roadside assistance i had a child in the van with me we ran out of water it was a very miserable experience.Ruben A.

The agent was friendly and took care of our needs. The only concern was that this location is in a busy convenience store, so every time we had to go back to the truck (to take pictures of the fuel, retrieve dollies and furniture pads, etc.) we had to go to the back of the line. The total return time was about 45 minutes, which seemed much longer than necessary. This may not be the norm since the agent was the only employee at the store that day.Taylor H.

I rented a Uhaul Truck for ny mother's move back to Illinois but it broke down just as she got to Illinois. It was overheating. On top of that she purchased the insurance. What good is the insurance if it doesn't cover breakdowns as well? Because of that, she didn't get the deposit back. Once again I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is the second bad experience I have had with Uhaul. The other one was when I rented a Uhaul truck and tow trailer for my car. The trailer damaged my car and Uhaul said hey not our problem.Brett L.

the inside of the vehicle was very clean but the outside front of the vehicle was full of dead bugs from traveling. It was very hard to clean the windshield, I got cut on the antenna due to the location while trying to clean the windshield. I did let the customer service person at the location know of this and they were very helpful and I felt they were very easy to work with. They were extremely polite and very considerate.marla H.

The guy running the gas station this location is attached to was no where to be found for the first 5 mins I was there. Once he showed himself, he was brash and loud, used foul language and threatened to cancel my reservation if I asked any more questions. This was probably THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I have ever had anywhere. After I signed the paperwork (that he didn't seem to understand and he finished swearing at me for asking questions), he asked me if I knew how to connect the trailer. I told him that I could figure it out so he left me to do just that. Again NO CUSTOM SERVICE. The interior of the trailer smelled like an ashtray because there were dozens of cigarette butts strewn inside. This was a horrible experience. Uhaul should be ashamed to allow someone like this to represent their company and their brand. When I called the customer service phone number to let them know about my experience, the lady who answered the phone simply wanted to know if I got the trailer and if it made it to the final location. She did not seem to care in the least about anything but that. In the future I will be seeking other genders for my moving needs. Uhaul has proven to me that they simply don't care.Samuel I.

The guy who gave me the trailer admitted that he was new and did not know how to connect the trailer to the car. As this was my firt time as well, I didn't know either. Turns out he didn't lock down the trailer so could have come off my hitch. I'm lucky my next door neighbor checked it out for me before I loaded it and drove on the freeway.Toni R.
