This was my first time using aU-haul truck and it must of been the guy who works at the place I picked up the truck but he didn't know or want (I don't know for sure) to walk me through the picture verification part of the renting process...Didn't take me to where the truck was...just told me it was â€œthereâ€ and have me a â€œsmart answer when I told him I wasn't comfortable with how this was going. The guy seemed like he knew what he was doing but he made me feel like I was stupid that â€œIâ€ didn't know what to do. How would I if I had never done that before?! The pick up part of the process was very poorly handled. The drop off went smoothly though but I did have to insist he finish up the process while I was there because he was busy doing other car things. I think it's because it's not a U-haul only facility...it's also a mechanic shop. Not renting there again.ANGELA D.

My experience was fine for the most part except that I had ordered a dolly and it was not in the van when I got there. The location where I picked up my van was closed so I spent 1.5 hours between communicating with UHAUL and picking up a dolly at another location before I got the work started for my move. I was annoyed about this and I also spent time trying to speak to someone who could allocate more time for my rental since I wasted so much time in the first place. There was no regional manager available for the area in Fern Park, FL where I rented my van.Fred S.

When I booked the location and went to the location shown on my confirmation I was told it was the wrong location, that I booked for the location orange ave. Ask the salesman for closest location and after pulled nearest location we were told not for sure where location was and said not for sure. When I pulled the email confirmation it showed that I was at the right location after all. When I called back to speak with the salesman I was then told that the I booked was on fern creek. As I was explaining that my email confirmation showed the location where he was i was rudely told that the computer shows a different location. I rent from the location all the time for my organization and this is the first time I was disappointed and felt that the salesman was very rude. This was very poor customer service and not acceptable at all.Ephraim C.

My uhaul had a leak and soaked my furniture.Briana L.
Mobile pick up was a nightmare! I provided my self picture and license (front and back), yet the representative could not confirm my identity. Provided two additional contacts which they never called. They explained the number was not in service, which was totally incorrect (I called them immediately and they answer). As soon as they could not reach the contacts, they kicked me out of the live chat more than once. I had to call Customer Service and get through 3 departments so somebody could help and approve the rental. This process took around an hour, it was raining and I had the worst service ever! I don't remember the lady that assisted me, but thanks to her I got my rental truck approved.. other than her, the rest was horrible. Probably never using mobile pick up ever in my life. I work at a Customer Service department (call center) and clearly what it is to give a great service... this was not! In terms of service & friendliness, I would give you a 2/10..Jonathan O.

Had to come here to pick a 10ft truck because the 15ft truck I had reserved with a different location (Mak Tire & Auto Repair) rented my truck to someone else. I had made reservations three days in advance and had confirmation and they still gave my truck to someone else. Phillips Tire & Auto had a 10ft truck available but that's all they had. Was happy with Phillips Tire & Auto but very disappointed with Uhaul.Tonya S.

Had to look for and wait 20 minutes for a customer service rep to help me...the parking is small very small and jam packed ...yes I understand that it is a dealer for UHaul but the rep never walked around truck to inspect it or check gas/mileage....I always rent from UHaul and just did in December but from now on I will rent from UHaul directly. THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE WHEN I NEED TO MOVE.....but this dealer and experience was not the 100% I have been used tooKimberly S.

I am giving the rental rating due the issues I had picking up my Uhaul on Saturday. I originally made a reservation to pick up my Uhaul at the East Colonial location in Orlando. A woman by the name of Lynette on Friday evening called me to inform me that I would now have to pick up the Uhaul at the Goldenrod location. I requested she change it from 11 AM to 1045AM. I arrive at the location and they inform me she changed the reservation for 1045PM. The gentleman of Jacob was assisting with this but he was absolutely NO HELP. He had to be coach by someone else and kept on repeating that "over 30,000 people are moving today and we do not have any Uhauls available". This is not customer service, he was penalizing me for an issue a UHaul employee caused, I had to move out of apartment by certain time prior to facing fees. I did my part and reserved my Uhaul online. He was coach by a young lady who's name started with the letter "A" and she informed him to contact Lynette to find me a truck. Now this is another issue its about 11:30AM at this point and they find the truck in Fern Park which is a 30 min from where I live and they close at 12pm. They ended up calling the location and asked them to stay open a little late so I can make it and pick up the truck. Prior to leaving Jacob informed me that they would provide me a $50 credit and the young lady informed me that she would put another request for $100. When I arrive at Fern Park there was no credit applied to the account and due to the time crunch I just paid. I am extremely upset about the lack of judgement of your employee due making such a grave mistake and then for Jacob for penalizing me for something that I did not cause. This is the absolutely worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. What happened to helping the customer he treated me as if I was just walking in to rent a Uhaul but I did the proper thing and made a reservation. Now I am arguing with my apartment complex, so therefore they do not charge me for moving out late. I just would like 1. ensure that this never happens to anyone ever again and also that 2. I get the $150 credit I was offered. Due to the lack of judgment and inconvenience I am facing consequences and it is not fair.Melissa D.
