When I pulled in and got out of my car, my wife and I approached the building where there was a pitbull chained to the building and almost bit my wife. We ran back to the car found out. We had to drive up to some window. It looks terrible. The building was in very poor condition. The man ended up cussing on the phone with some lady that he had told me to call and she said that the key was not in the dropbox and him and her were arguing over why it was in there. She seemed to be his boss. I’m not understanding he was very rude very both times we had to talk to him. We called the number to rent Uhaul and was greeted with a hello, and then I had to go through a long lengthy process where I had to give her my credit card information over the phone, including the last three numbers on the back of the card. I have no idea how professional you guys think. This is but giving my credit card number to somebody sitting on their couch at home was watching TV is not when I call good business practice. She also spoke with way too much slang and swearing. I could not get pictures of the one side of the Uhaul before taking it without getting bit by a pitbull. The interior was dirty. I had to clean it before I get on the road and whenever we got to where we were going, I had to wipe down parts of the walls that were dirty in the back, and there was mouse droppings in it. this whole experience left me feeling very unsafe when I was picking it up physically and also financially because I have no idea what’s gonna happen with that credit card number to the point where I’ve already turned it off and I’m waiting for a new one to come in the mail very very unsafe

Very bad part of town

At pick up- a pit bull was tied to the parking lot fence barking at me the whole time (about 10 feet away) as I was taking photos, then when I got to the key box to unlock it, the pitbull was only 2-3 feet away from me, barking at me as I was trying to get the key. The truck was clean and the lady on the phone was very helpful, but the situation next to the truck when trying to do the pick up, was not something I would do again. I can handle myself, but if it were my daughter or my wife there- I would have been very upset with the situation they would have been put in.

Cargo areas was not clean. Furniture dolly and furniture pads were not in truck. We had to go to the main Columbus Rd location to get things corrected.
