Vehicles should be checked by staff before each rental to endure it’s clean and in proper working order. Back door of vehicle was difficult to close ( sprain wrist during process) and vehicle is in need of service for road worthiness. Staff too impersonal unlike a regular uhaul location.

Service was quick and easy.
Kevin RThe inside of the retail store is cluttered & the counter area to complete the U-Haul contract & payment is very small with a makeshift countertop made of plastic totes & cardboard, which isn't convenient nor comfortable, especially with other customers in the store. A dedicated professional-looking space is needed for the U-Haul service. The inside of the cab of the truck was not clean, plus the seats & floor had food crumbs from the previous rental, I believe it was potato chips. There was only a half a tank of fuel, which wasn't too critical because it was more than what I needed. I returned it with a half a tank, by adding $10.00 of fuel. The most critical issue with the truck was the rear roll-up door. It was very difficult to close. The last 6 to 8 inches were almost impossible & required a lot of force to close all the way to the floor so the latch could be secured. I believe the door rollers & track need maintenance, likely more lubrication but it definitely needs to be looked at. I had good luck renting U-Haul trucks in the past but this experience was not good.

Thomas KAlthough due to circumstances, you were able to provide me with a vehicle the same as what I had booked with the Erin location, there were a few things that weren't in proper working order. The interior light could not be shut off, the bank ramp looked as though it had been bent prior and found it difficult to put it into place correctly, and on pick-up, there was only 1/4 tank of gas.
Susan HThe woman had no idea how to put the 5x9 trailer on. She said she could not help. A by standard helped me with the trailer. It was parked on a hill and was covered in garbage. The hill caused the trailer to roll down the hill and hit my car bumper. I will never rent a Uhaul from this location again. Absolute worst service and now my car is damaged.
Christina WNext time you need to make sure that when you rent the truck out that the fuel tank is full. When I picked up the truck it was only 1/2 full It is much easier to fill the truck up when you start with a full tank

We went inside to tell the store attendant, they took us to grab the appliance dolly but there was only utility dollys. It was a bit frustrating not having the item we requested but we did pay the correct price.

Joseph SMake sure all customers return vehicle with a tank full of gas. No excuses No ifs No butts No nothing Just put your foot squarely down on that. You have gas station next door in same parking lot. If they do not want to do that THEN charge them maximum amount for full tank of gas . $ 200 and THEN YOU FILL THE TANK WITH GAS and credit the amount of money NOT USED FOR gas back to customer debit or credit card. Right now your system for gas tank is not good. Tank has to be full all the time when vehicle comes back always. Very important you must do better on that.
Ian KWell the person at quick pick did not understand fractions and this cost me 42$ in extra fas fees because she weoredownthe wrong fraction twice. I corrected her but she did not change it and then the extra cost added. I only use u haul and feel chested here. Not sure if I will use u haul again.

Natasha MNever renting anything bigger than a van ever again. Brakes needed servicing on 26 ft. truck. Problem with fuel or gas reading - 110 miles-until-empty when parked at night, 75 miles-until-empty when starting truck in the morning . Picked up truck in Fergus, could not drop off in Wasaga Beach, had to drive all the way back to Fergus.. big waste of gas and money. Brought truck back with more gas than when I picked it up, Fergus Variety (U-Haul) charged me more ?! Such a bad experience. Would not recommend.

Bill BUhaul must honor the original agreement with the customers. I had confirmation of a rental on February 19 . More then one month in advance to move my 80 year old father . Original agreement was for me to pick up truck in Georgetown at 9:30am March 25 and drop off in Fergus by 9:30am March 26 . Then , March 22 I received call stating that Georgetown did not have truck available. So , all moving arrangements had to be changed plus I had to pay the extra gas and mileage to travel to and from Georgetown instead of only one direction. VERY ANGRY.
Michael TThe measurements we found on line were a bit misleading. It was not clear that the 15' length included the attic. This, of course, has nothing to do with the folks we actually rented from. They were very accommodating! Other than that, we were very pleased.

Anuvind RI checked-in online before picking up the van. When I arrived, the lady at the pick-up location asked me all the same questions that I entered online. She asked for my license and everything, even though I had taken pics of my license & submitted them online like it asks you to do. This added unnecessary time as I was in a hurry to leave. The van was filthy up front as well as out back & smelled like wet dog. It was definitely not cleaned after the previous user and there was dog hair all over the front seats. I was very disappointed. The van also had only 65,000Kms on it but the steering wheel was way out of alignment and you had to fight to keep the van straight because if you let go of the wheel, it veered excessively from your lane. Definitely a safety issue. Overall a disappointing rental.

TYEWAYNE JA bit dissapointed this time. I wanted the truck for 2 days but they needed it back by friday morning so I brought it back Thursday night. I was charged for 2 days. Wish I had been told it was a 2 day rental from 5:45pm wednesday to 8pm thursday - the time we had agreed on.
joanne rThe vehicle had a low tire pressure warning at the start, but as the tire warmed, the warning went away. Better maintenance is advised. The clerk had to do the registration twice, not a confidence builder at the start of the rental

Overall a good experience - but UHaul needs to work out the bugs for its mobile app (and there are places where it is not intuitive what it is looking for e.g. verified contact)..
Marc LWe rented a trailer and upon picking it up, we had to wait around 15 minutes just to be noticed in the store. After the paperwork and payment was done, we went to hook the trailer up to our truck, the lights on the trailer weren't working, so we had to try and fix it as there was no way we could get anything else and we needed it done. It took is 2 hours sitting in the parking lot trying to fix it. We alerted the store clerk, but he seemed to have no concern over the faulty equipment. We got it fixed and were off. Unfortunately because of all that, we were under an hour late to drop it off and that resulted in us being charged a whole other day. I feel we should have been reimbursed for the inconveniences which had a domino effect on our day.
