Dealt with UHaul many times over the years. You ripped me off this time, never again. I'll tell my extensive network of family, friends and business contacts never to deal with UHaul. I entered into a verbal agreement with UHaul in Lillooet for $145 trailer rental, $40 insurance and $5 safe trip fee. The guy said his computer was not working and the contract would be emailed to me. A contract was sent but NOT what I agreed to and $845 was charged to my credit card. I've been trying to get it fixed ever since and I still didn't get my money back. Then when I returned the trailer to Bear Lake the guy there said I would get a credit. Instead another charge was posted against my credit card for even more money.Joseph D.

I'm rating this location as very poor because I had to drive over 2 hours to pick it up and then 2 hours back home. I was very disappointed that there was not one any closer.Jennifer M.

my preference would have been for a smaller truck which I requested. if an upgrade is necessary due to lack of availability the customer should get the upgrade for same rate as vehicle requested (personal opinion)Eric R.

The hitch is very heavy. If you are alone and not able to do heavy lifting you need to bring another person to help. The local Uhaul owner cannot help due to physical limitations. Same goes for dropping off at other locations if you are dropping after hours.Margaret H.

We had to drive 250 KMs to get the truck which was filthy, we had ordered dollies and pads, NONE were supplied, very poor servicejames H.

this was 350km round trip to pick up the uhual. It was on a highway ( duffy road ) which has multiple accidents and the hill was 15% and 11% steep incline and decline... very very unsafe esp in a 26ft truck.Dale J.
Polite & professional, but clearly couldn't give a shit about a U Haul customer. Found another pair of car trailers there. One brake cylinder was full, but the other had a lid so tight I required my water pump pliers and very excessive force to open - and find it almost empty. Again, shame on U Haul and your horrifying maintenance schedules - you absolutely suck.Kent M.

The location was great - however we had problems given the inside of the trailer box is not a uniform dimension - we were using the trailer to transport 4x8 sheet material and it would not fit despite the trailer being 5x8 supposedly. we went to a uhaul location in Vancouver where we were told we could exchange for the larger trailer yet we would no longer be subject to the daily rate but $300 dollars instead. What a rip-off. Once again U-Hual;s mantra from its corporate locations is "the customer,s always wrong.......and you owe us money) I,ve never had a good experience renting from U-Hual's corporate offices - This is my last uhaul experience after many,, any alternative is better and its encouraged me to purchase an expensive trailer of my own.Jane R.

I want to clarify for you, The reservation was screwed up more than 3 times i had to callback and correct it. you sent the file to the wrong location, then said oh it happens. NOT WHEN YOU HAVE PEOPLE WHO CAN READ. or KNOW where places are. this truck was not fit for the mountain roads, it slipped out of gear, and was really hard to slow down even in first gear. it was leaking fluids unbeknownst to me. I had to call your protection line only to be told the truck wasnt covered, because it was user error. the truck ended up in a minor ditch 30 feet from my door, on the driveway due to it slipping out of gear trying to go up the driveway. i had to call a tow truck, i got it out. unloaded it and took it to the level street, went up to the final place in lillooet got the rep and gave him the keys said i am not driving it anywhere their are hills and location is at the top of a hill with winding curves. I am so upset and disappointed with UHAUL SERVICE and i doubt I will rent again. This was the 2nd truck i got out of a location in vancouver area that was a piece of trash and unsafe for our roads. Maybe in the USA you dont care about people's safety but in CANADA WE DO. all the people i spoke to over this reservation the only two who were extremely helpful were Bob at BMG, and IKE at lillooett.BRUCE G.

Dual rear inner wheel 10 lb pressure if I didn't have someone following me And flagged me down I could have been in real jeopardy. Arranged drop off location supposedly right off highway 1 but was several km from expected location. All equipment should be safety checked before leaving the lotWendy P.
The radiator hose disconnected from the coolant resevoir on the truck I rented. After this occured of course the engine overheated, leaving me stranded with in an area with no phone reception. Managed to get a lift back to town from a passerby so I could make a phone call to U-Haul. I was told by a U-Haul representitive that there would be a minumum 2 hour wait and that it was my responsibility to stay with the truck until a tow truck arrived. So I bought 2 containers of anti-freeze and a bottle of water, got a ride back to the truck, connected the radiator hose back on, and topped the coolant. Four hours later I dropped off the truck and did not arrive home until after 10PM. Oh, and I was still charged without any discount for the trouble I went through, and was never reimbersed for the antifreeze I purchased. Poor maintenance of equipment and terrible customer service. Let's just say I will never rent from U-Haul again.Jason F.
