Everything was excellent, except that the website for the location in Merritt BC,Canada says that the location is permanently closed, which it is of course not. This is defiantly hurting the business in the area.

Don't be rude to the customer, if they say they paid the deposit and show you that they don't have a credit card and still you question. It's on uhaul not the customer.

Although our arrived at both the pick up and drop off locations was great, our overall experience with U-Haul has been horrible, and we would not recommend it to anyone. We booked our moving truck over a month in advance and the day before we were scheduled to pick it up, they informed us that there wasn’t a truck in our city and that we would have to drive to the next closest city (1hr away) to pick it up. When I called to discuss this with a service rep they suggested I speak with a manager who I have made several efforts to contact and they have never contacted me back. The price quoted to us was originally $150 less than what the total bill actually ended up coming too. It created such a stressful experience with our move and they have not made much effort to repair their poor customer service. Because of these things I would not recommend using U-Haul.

Annie in Merritt is amazing!!! She went above and beyond and turned a very stressed out and upset customer that was never going to use uhaul again as long as I lived, into a customer who ended up having a wonderful experience after Annie took control of the situation and fixed everything!!!
