What sucked was when we returned it had to do online and didnt know that so returned it and tried to do online at work and wouldn't work because we are not on location so can get 20 late charge but returned 3 hours early

Very frustrated with U-Haul. I made reservation on line, only to receive a text a few hours later saying that I had to pick up the truck 20 miles away from where I had requested it! Time/mileage/gas all to your advantage, not to mention the added expense of my “help”! After calling our local U-Haul, we got that straightened out (van instead of truck). The van was brand new, which was wonderful. Returning the van was a hassle, as the place was closed. I would have appreciated a “heads up”, at pick up, as well as instructions. What does someone do who doesn't have an IPhone? It took me quite some time, to jump through the hoops.

Put the dolly and bag of blankets on the same wall as the fuel neck. Because of the way this was done it cost me an extra turn due to loosing two walls. Poor placement, unless you are trying to force your customers into using something they may not need. Really got me cranky. Figure next time I need to rent a truck I'll check the competition. If they don't do that you have lost a potential customer.

I dealt with a lot of issues with uhaul. I had to call 3 times to even get mileage compensation for my pick up being switched the day before I had to pick it up. I was not notified that by paying with cash that a down deposit of 100 dollars was required until I walked into the location. Uhaul as a whole company needs improvements.

Consider installing hydraulic jacks on the trailer tongue for ease of hitching and unhitching the trailers. My son and I were having no luck trying to unhitch the trailer when we returned it, but fortunately another U-Haul customer was returning his truck and offered his help. Without him, I'm not sure my son and I would have been successful. A tongue jack would have helped us out immensely.

It was a perfect experience. First time renting. Associate (Julia?) that helped me throughout the process was outstanding. She answered all questions thoroughly and politely. I was in and out quicker than expected. The vehicle was in perfect condition and the transaction could not have been better. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using and recommending U-HAUL and Sippls Auto Repair in the future. THANK YOU!!!

Not necessarily the locations fault, but the online app didn't work for me to submit my photos. never gave me the option and yes I went the right web address. So I got charged another 20+ dollars for the "convenience" fee for the location to check.

Had to wait for over an hour due to uhauls website not working for the dealer. Totally inconvenient. Next customer? What about my inconvenience? Additional discount maybe? What was supposed to take less than ten minutes made us late for everything!

The van was brand new, only 2800 miles on it and it was completely covered in dog hair. Both driver and passenger seats were disgusting and I unfortunately did not realize it until I arrived to my location and then myself was covered. I had to change my clothing before I even went into my home.

I realize I rented on a Sunday, but we had a storm come through the night before and the truck was covered in a sheet of ice and then a few inches of snow on top of that. And the driveway to the business was not plowed out either. It was a bit difficult getting out of the parking spot, I spun some and had to try a few times. And thankfully the business was plowed out when I returned the truck or I'm not sure I would've made it up the driveway to return it. I could barely make it up the driveway of the house that I took the truck to and that had a very slight incline, nothing like the hill at the rental place. So maybe the truck needs tires, but I didn't look at them. It would have been nice if the truck was started and ran due to the thick ice, I probably sat there 20 minuets waiting for it to thaw enough that I could use my scraper to get the ice off. But I supposed that's not part of the rental fee :)

Make sure it does not take 35 minutes to get approved on app. AND, make sure the KEY IS IN THE LOCK BOX!!!!! WE had 6 people standing around for over an hour waiting for us, who all had only 2 hours to help that morning= 11 hour day for us which was total BS.

Worst customer service ever! Do NOT use this location! When I went to check in the keys late at night all the lock boxes were taken. Went online and followed instructions, and left keys in vehicle and locked as instructed. Turned out those were the only keys there were - as if that's my fault? Customer service person was not apologetic or helpful at all, and was only concerned that I leave positive feedback - no apologies. She gave me regional manager's (Betsy) phone number to call, which I did, and left message for her to call me.... which she never did!!! However, a couple days later I see an additional charge of $80 added to my bill for no reason - without explanation or any rationale at all. This place is bad and unprofessional... WATCH OUT!!!!!!! Use another location.

The employees here were extremely helpful. The counter rep was very personable, completed the paperwork efficiently, and gave me good advice about the mobile phone checking in process. The tech who hooked up the trailer went the extra mile to ensure that the corroded electrical lead was cleaned and put into working condition.

Get the reservation correct. I set up a one way and instead had to drive and pay to drive a truck back 20+ miles instead of 1 mile from where I was. It ended up costing me double. Definitely going back to using Budget.

While the location is fantastic and very convenient for me, I extremely angry with the return process for the trailer I rented. I found the app for my phone confusing and it took me almost an hour to get the process done. At my age, everything on the phone is confusing! That being said, I thought I was done when I shared my location to prove I was there. I WAS CHARGED THE CONVENIENCE FEE ANYHOW! When I brought it to their attention, they called the field manager who said there was no proof so they could not waive the fee. I sent a picture of my phone call where I waited on hold for over 10 minutes on a holiday weekend. My e-mail has not been returned. Sippl's has never given me a problem. I am very angry with U-haul.

We had reserved a 20' truck for 8am pick up. The customer that had the truck prior to us, had not returned it in time, so we had no truck. We left, requesting that we receive a phone call when the truck was returned--because we had moving help waiting at our house. We did not receive a phone call, so we followed up around 10:30am.....still no truck. Very frustrating for us as we had an entire 3 bedroom, living room and basement to move...and no truck. We ended up taking a 10' truck (because we needed SOMETHING) and had to take more trips back and forth than expected due to the size truck. We understand the situation was out of Rick Sippls Auto Repairs control--and the issue was on the customer that rented the truck before us. It was just very frustrating---could have received more communication instead of us having to follow-up on the status of what was going on. we did receive a $50 credit for the inconvenience---which was very appreciated.
