I had to go to 3 U Haul dealers to return my rental and the 3rd one had refused to take it saying they did not have room so I insisted on them calling a district rep who authorized them to take it and said he would arrive soon with a driver to take it to another location.The biggest problem was they said I had exceeded my mileage allotment which was due to I-10 being closed due to widespread flooding in the area of Houston and Beaumont. I was told by police that it would be at least 36 hours before the interstate was reopened so I opted to take a detour which turned out to be very lengthy. This was caused by an act of God and in no way my fault but the dealer insisted that I pay $136 in excess mileage fees/gas. This is just plain wrong, I also spent 3 hours washing the mud off the truck and trailer because I was ashamed to return it so dirty and it looked much better than when I received it. Ready to rent.
