No one was there at drop off and had no cellphone service. To do it on line.
Josh WIt would be nice if the add-ons like the furniture blankets could be counted on when adding them to the order. At a different location, I didn't get a furniture dolly. U-Haul needs to do better if they are going to have add ons for online orders. Maybe they should be for same day only.

Scott GMy only concern was that I was told the tank was full and it was only 3/4 full. I used the “Fuel Used” function on the truck to track the amount of fuel I used. It said 6.5 Gallons. It took 13.3 gallons to fill before I returned. This was $30 more in fuel. My fault - I should have gone back inside before I left the lot to correct the discrepancy. Overall this facility is still my favorite U -Haul so I will be back—I’ll just be more diligent about checking things before I leave.

Rick DI have rented from the Shakopee Mini Storage on several occasions, car haulers, motorcycle trailers, utility trailers, etc. The pick up process is quick, and timely, and the staff is always in a good mode. They have become my primary source for trailer rental needs.

Peter HLocation office closed during daytime, weekday. One employee was at the location. Did tell us where to move trailer and he took off the hitch. Did not ask for rental contract. Saw in APP to put contract in drop box. Returned a second time to do so. Sign informed they were closed for Easter. No phone or online notification. I did return a day early, so they didn't expect me.

CHAD PTrailer has 10” of heavy wet snow on it. I had no shovel or broom with me to clean it off. It didn’t move on my way to pick up my vehicle and I had to use my feet to clean it off so I could load my vehicle. So wet feet for my road trip. The tires didn’t look the best and I ended up having both tires on the drivers side blow out after 4 hours of travel. This led to 2.5 hrs on the side of a busy interstate waiting for roadside assistance. I filled out all the info on the app with pictures showing both drivers side tires flat. Pomp’s tire showed up stating they were only told I had 1 flat tire. So he had to run back to the shop for a second tire. Then, after completing my request on the U-Haul app, I received a text from Rachelle, who is obviously AI and doesn’t answer any of my questions or respond. What a great feeling. Last time using U-Haul trailers.

Kurt KThe app is frequently difficult to use to upload photos to return a trailer. We returned a trailer tonight, but couldn’t successfully complete the process via the app. We had to abandon the return process in the app and decided to call the office in the morning when they’re open.

MURALIDHARAN JI did an afterhours drop-off of my trailer, so I had no direct contact with the personnel at the location. It was 9:30 pm and dark, so I initially pulled into the main entrance, which once I had entered indicated that it was for trucks only, and that trailers needed to be dropped off in a separate lot next door. There was no place to turn around so it took me 15 minutes of monkeying around to turn around to leave due to the tight quarters and poor lighting. Once I got to the adjacent lot, I had to be very careful unhitching the trailer from my vehicle because the drop-off location sloped back toward my vehicle, so the trailer tried to roll forward as soon as I uncoupled it. I didn't see the stuff about taking a picture of the unit to confirm the return until I had left and returned to my son's house and I wasn't about to go back again and do that. The next morning, I got a text from U-Haul asking me when I expected to drop it off, and it didn't give me the option of saying I already had, so I chose the earliest option listed and said 8:00 am Feb. 16. Apparently this was OK because I received a receipt for its return. There needs to be better lighting and signage at the drop-off location for afterhours returns to avoid confusion and make unhitching safer. Nonetheless, I was very pleased with the trailer and the way it handled on the highway and would use U-Haul again if the need arises.
JEFFREY SPerhaps have a full tank of gas vs. 1/2 full to minimize trip stop (much less initial stress plus easier to do when returning).

RICHARD DNeeded to free up several of the tie-downs (under snow and ice), everything else went well (friendly service, convenience of after-hours drop-off).
Clinton VThis location itself was great, but my experience with U-Haul scheduling and customer service was not. My pickup location was changed multiple times without my permission because there “wasn’t equipment available” even though when I called those locations directly, they said it could work but I had to go through the scheduling line. I had many frustrations, which may lead me to choose a different moving truck next time.
STEVEN BThe photos to take did not work for me great this morning but I was able to bypass some of them. It was very, very cold outside so my hand was freezing when trying to take the photos (which obviously is nothing wrong with UHaul), but it just made it more frustrating that it didn't seem to be working correctly.

AUSTIN BI have rented many U-Haul trucks over the years and they are all about the same, this one had 113K miles on it and had about 2 hours of play in the steering wheel and 2 hours of pull to the right. I get they are different than my F150 but one would think that they would handle a bit better. The truck was clean and engine ran smooth, but the steering was a bit questionable. The folks at Shakopee Mini Storage were great, I was in and out quickly and everyone was very courteous and friendly, especially Tucker.
Stacy LRented 15' truck (DC9313W) - the "check engine" light was on the moment the truck was started. The interior was filthy and sticky and appeared as if someone exploded a soda inside the cab. WORST PART was that the front right bumper was hanging half-off and damaged badly. I did not realize this until returning and taking the return pictures which forced me to call UHaul to ensure this was visible on the "pick up" pictures. Make sure to inspect every inch of the vehicle before accepting. This was my 2nd time renting from this location in 4 weeks and the truck was poor the first time, this was awful. I will NEVER rent from UHaul again and recommend against ever using UHaul again!!!!!

DAVID DThe interior was not clean. There were lots of crushed potato chips and peanuts on the floor. It was gross. The windshield was also terribly dirty on the inside and was very difficult to see through. Honestly a very poor experience considering I have used this location previously and been pleased. This was definitely sub-standard. I need to rent a rental truck in 1 week and I am doubting I will use Uhaul again, let alone the same location. Might go with a different rental company altogether. Seriously disappointed.
