This has been my worst U-Haul experience in 20 years. The attendant was uncouth and fraudulent. I rented the U-Haul truck, collected the key, but did NOT take the vehicle out. In fact i never even cranked the truck engine, because the movers called and cancelled. I was shocked and horified when, on returning the key, getting the receipt with charge for "Fuel Service Fee" of $30, fuel charge 6G $24.75, mileage out 38339, mileage in 38340. How can fuel charge of 6Gallons be applied when the engine was never started, and the vehicle did NOT move an inch? The security cameras in the premises can confirm that vehicled never started or moved an inch. This is my second written complain and third complain overall for this deceptive frauduent act. It is likely U-Haul has defrauded several thousand customers who never bordered to check their transaction receipt, and been charged deceptive fees. I will escalate this to appropriate quarters of consumer protection if this is not resolved ASAP, a refund issued and duly compensated.TITUS O.
I was told I could return my truck to any location but when I got to my destination on had a specific site. That was very disappointing and resulted in additional mileage.Pamela V.

He did not give me a key. Even though I had contract and reservation number. I have to wait over one hour because he could not see my reservation on the system. So I called U Haul customer service, but waiting time was 46 mins. U Haul customer service is really ridiculous . I choose 24/7 option and I still had to wait to get a key. Also verification was too slow, it should be done when I make reservation. People do not have a time to sit on the site to wait for verification. It's moving day!! I hope U Haul renting process is faster and better.Charles O.
