The woman who we worked with us at pick up was so nice & very helpful. She went over everything with us thoroughly. She made our experience a positive one. The storage part of the truck was the perfect size for our move & it was clean. The driving cab of the truck was dirty & had a lot of cigarette ashes in the cup holders & on the floor. Our move was local but I think if someone was using it to move to another state they would have been disappointed/upset.Susan B.

I sat on the side of the highway for 2 HOURS IN 90 DEGREE HEAT IN A THUNDERSTORM!!! With a truck full of Your truck just stopped on the highway, then it started smoking. I immediately called for help and was told by the man.on the other end of the phone that "sometimes this happens". I paid way more in gas because I sat idly for 45 minutes using fuel to try to cool off whenever it would run! I received a text telling me someone would be thrre in 30 mins. Nothing! I called back a 2nd time and was told that "Wow! You've been sitting there for over an hour and a half! Let me check onto this and I'll call youback". Never heard from her again! Finally, the mechanic showed up. THE RADIATOR WAS COMPLETELY DRY!!! They put a container of coolant in addition to the bottles of water too. He then hooked his computer up to the truck. 2.SPARK PLUGS NOT WORKING AT ALL! NIMEROUS MECHANICAL ISSUES! All of the issues found, any one of them could have caused issues. The mechanic told the uhaul station where I picked it up what all of the issues were. THE FACT THAT I SPENT ANY MONEY ON THIS IS DISGUSTING! I felt like YOU all know exactly what is happening to these vehicles! You are obviously OK with having folks packing all of their belongings and then setting them up in a vehicle that most likely YOU WILL HAVE A CUSTOMER RIDING IN AN UNSAFE VEHICLE! SHAMEFUL! NEVER AGAIN!!!Therese P.

Everything about this rental experience was great! I was surprised and impressed with how easy the process was. I made the reservation online and completed the process with the clerk at the gas station. The clerks were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I liked that this location was open late so I could get the truck after work. I would definitely rent here again!Maria J.

The customer service/interaction was awful. The clerk was on the phone with a friend through the whole transaction, stepped aside to help other people, and tried to talk me out of insurance. I still took the insurance. The truck itself was a rough drive, had a ton of scraps and dings, the gas tank was all but empty and the padlock did not work. Overall disappointing.Shannon S.

The man had his girlfriend & daughter behind the counter with him. He told me I had to do everything online the other stores done it for me. I got the truck told him the tire pressure light was one the tire was low, he told me to drive it & it would go off it never did he was so lazy would not help me so I drove in low tire scary I told my brother he also had problems with him at that location we would never rent go somewhere elseMichelle S.

You need to fix your online booking system, specifically when it comes to the 24/7 pickup option. I had submitted a reservation for a 15 foot truck to pick up at a location much closer to my home while the site was closed using the 24/7 pickup option. The night before my reservation I got an email saying my pickup location had changed due to a lack of availability at my original location. The morning of my reservation I show up to the new address just to find out that that location does not allow for 24/7 pickup, and I have to wait until 11 to get my truck. It is absolutely ridiculous that I would get reassigned to a location that didn't allow for off hours pickup, when I had made it very clear in my original reservation that that was what I needed. Since this new time was 2 hours after my initial reservation and did not work for me, I called the help number and spoke to someone who was able to find an open location that had the truck I needed. However, that location was so disorganized and slow that getting the truck was more of a hassle than it should have been. This entire fiasco put me an hour behind my schedule, and I definitely will not be using uHaul again.Rosalie M.

Could use an extra person at gas station to process Uhaul customers. The man working at the gas station handles both people getting gas and those of us renting u-hauls. He seems to be the only person working at that particular gas station. He's there 24/7 when they are open.mary jane B.

Took an hour to actually get the keys due to no uhaul computer. Then ordered two dollys and they had none. Nobody said when I reserved it that they had none at the location, quite bothersome. Had to go buy one and on top of it, they had to charge me for it and then wait for a credit return days later.SHANE S.

Tom Jr. asked if I was sexually frustrated and said he could take care of me. I mentioned my break-up and he wanted to discuss my sex life. I was shocked and uncomfortable but I needed the U-Haul for the next day. I was not sure of his reaction when I declined his advances. Also there was no appliance dolly in the truck. I will never visit this Sunoco ever again. I do not know why I was sexually harassed during my simple visit to rent a truck.Evelyn T.

Actually giving people the supplies they order, i.e. dollies, pads, etc., would go a long way towards giving customers a decent experience. As it stands, I won't be coming back.Peter S.
The uhaul, smart phone check in at this location needs revamped. It will take 30 minutes to get checked in for your reservation at this location. Have to deal with gas station customers also, I understand their transactions are quicker, but then uhaul should make their process quicker. The fuel gauge was not where the system had it was noted, is this a marketing practice in the hopes the consumer doesn't check or does your unit have a fuel leak in which case the customers should get a fuel reimbursement, or is someone siphoning off your fuel. Paperwork from house purchase from previous customer sitting on dashboard, wet on the bottom of cup holder with paperwork in cup holder, crushed pill on floor of cargo area, could be just the last customer had no respect for equipment. The online reservation system cites a fee if you can't do the return process on your own, but the check out process requires so much input from the facility, employee has to see drivers license, customer has to take pictures of license (could be done online). Pictures during checkout process need to be of better quality to show previous damage, had to take several photos to ensure damage I noted could be seen in photos. Also system needs to allow user to zoom in on photo they are submitting to ensure the damage they are seeing is visible in photo.Nathan P.

They lost keys to U-Haul truck. We had to wait 1 hour until found keys . The U-Haul truck check Engine light was on and it had a bad exhaust leak. Was not impressed with U-Haul!!!Craig L.
The AC did not work in the truck and my son said that one of the struts may be going, he happens to be the used car Manager for the Classic Auto group in Mentor. He had are 91 year old grandfather going for the ride. We are all doing are best in the world today. Im also the the founder of the VFR - VFRhomefront.org . . Im not here to say anything bad, but the maintenance on the truck was a bit off. We appreciate the use of the Vehicle and the followup and set up was Great !!!!!David K.

The truck was filthy!!! The service was basically lazy and other â€œgas station customersâ€ we taken in between our transaction making it longer for us to be serviced and permitted to get our truck! The return was just as bad. We had to make several trips from the store to the truck to obtain information and the utility dolly from the truck. Had the clerk told us all this upfront but would have done in one trip and even prior to walking into the gas atation. Each time we had to walk out and then back in we were forced to wait in line while other customers were serviced. Oh have a picture of the inside of the truck. It was gross!! U-haul should be embarrassed that this site is permitted to use their name! Will never use this site again and will NEVER recommend it to anyone! On a scale of 1-10 and 10 being the bestâ€¦they deserve a 0 for Customer Service and Cleanliness of Truck!George D.

The vehicle had no gas and I had to fill it myself in order to complete my move. In addition I was supposed to pick my vehicle up at 7 am, and the store wasn't open till 8 am. It threw the whole schedule off for my moving day. The person that checked me in was extremely rude as well. I will never rent from U-Haul again.Ivy E.
The ignition was sticking and took several tries to get the key to turn. Upon starting the vehicle, the â€œservice tire monitor systemâ€ message appeared on the dash. I alerted the clerk in the gas station at the location that I picked up the vehicle and he said â€œyeah, they know about itâ€. While driving, the check engine light come on and remained on for the duration of the rental. When braking.. the steering wheel violently shook. Upon returning the vehicle, I informed the clerk who seemed completely disinterested.Kevin K.

We got to the shop at 425 for our 430 arrival. When we got there the guy said he had to go to the bathroom and asked us to step out so he could lock up. He was gone maybe ten minutes then he helped 4 other people before he finished us. We said something after 30 mins of being there and he got angry and vulgar towards us. Finally gave us the keys and we left. The Uhaul had little to no gas. Just very inappropriate behavior from the guy.Melissa R.
