The uhaul inventory management system is quite poor. The website said this location had a trailer size they didn't have, and when getting a call back, I could not reserve one that the representative said they had on their lot. I was only able to work it out by contacting the location directlyChris B.

I am not happy with Uhaul. This move was 120 miles from my home and involved scheduling 4 people for assistance. I reserved the truck in advance and received a confirmation number showing a pickup address and time. I visited the pickup location a day early to verify availability of the truck and was told they did not show my reservation and was told that my confirmation meant nothing. After doing some checking, I found out that Uhaul had changed my pickup location without notifying me. Apparently this happens often. This is a very sorry business practice. What does the word CONFIRMATION mean to the people at Uhaul. Apparently nothing. According to the Uhaul website, the truck was shown as available at the location and time that I selected and the reservation was gauranteed. So why was it changed and why was I not notified????Jim M.

U-Haul rental locations are good- feel sorry for them as the software and infrastructure resources provided by the company for reservations and truck tracking is pathetic for this day and age!Jeff P.

We did like the pioneer location and staff. They were great. but we reserved in diamond springs. Our reserved truck was not available had to drive an hour to get the truck. Will not recommend uhaul as a company and will tell everyoneAllison R.

Front driverside tire was low and windshield was filthy. Person at the yard was helpful and did put air in the tire and hosed off the windshield. That said, isn't there somne sort of safety check done prior to a customer picking up a vehicle? On another note, I was called the day before and notified that my vehicle that I was suppose to pick up in Angels camp was not avalible so I had to drive to Pioneer to pick one up. This added two hours to my moving day. The person who called did say they added extra miles to compensate for the further pickup, however at the end of the day I was charged for an additional 4 miles... I guess her caculations were off. After my initial conversation with her I called back realizing I had a reservation guarentee. I had to ask for my $50 credit as my reservation was screwed up. Shouldn't that been offered during our first conversation? Did I really have to ask? Not sure how Uhaul Values it's customers, but I did not feel valued during my experiance.william R.

The employees do not wear masks or seem to understand why they are a good idea. My partner liked that there was a button on the truck's dashboard that let you confirm whether the truck was towing something or not. He was also uncomfortable with the masking protocols.Doug R.
The employees here are honest. We accidentally left a wallet with cash, credit cards and a driver's license in the truck. We did not notice for several days. When we called, the employee found it in the truck and held it for us with everything in tack. We were so appreciate!ELIZABETH B.

This was not my intended pick up location. I arrived at my location and there were NO trucks available. I had to drive further away and use extra miles due to the booking being such a mess and when I informed the representative of this she stated they did not comp mileage on in town rentals. This entire experience has been the worst I've had and I've rented from U-Haul often.Shelei S.

Inside the door handles had garbage in them. There was candy and garbage in the seats. On Saturday when I went to pick up the truck and trailer they did not have the trailer which I made a reservation for and needed it to move to Seattle, Washington. This was a great inconvenience and cost me a lot of money to get my car to Seattle.stacy C.

Sierra Yard is an excellent company, good people. However uhaul sucks. I had a trailer reserved that you rented out from under me causing me to rent a truck that cost me 200 more than I needed to spend. Oh and expecting me to drive 60 miles to pick up and return the next closest trailer is asinine. Again, you suck.Elmer K.

I returned the trailer at before noon on Saturday 3/14/2020 at around 11:00am the guy that helped me said I'm all good to go since I'm on time. My contract # 21988162 due date is 3/14/2020 11:00am days allowed 3. See the attached contract. I picked up the trailer on Wed 3/11/2020 at the El Camino Location in San Jose Why did they Sierra pioneer California charge me for 2 extra days! If you are going to utilize a location for mobile check-ins, your company should make sure that the location is in a spot where there is cell phone service. Also, this location is in Pioneer but our "preferred" location was in Pine Grove, which was further away from our new home.Frances E.
The guy I picked up the vehicle from was great, but a different person was like I was wasting is time. I didn't want to give we a written receipt for the rental and when the did print out he also threw the receipt at me. Not a thank you for the business or and holiday kiss me ass or anything. When we got to the designated location we were told we had to go to another location 4 miles away (same owner?) to drop off because there wasn't room at this yard and there was nobody there to check us in. Also, we dropped off Sunday but my receipt says Tuesday???Kenneth B.

Availability of equipment near me was awful. The location I picked up from was an hour away. I live close to a city with at least 15 u haul locations. I was not happy the local stores did not have the equipment.Sarah A.

I made a reservation on line for what I needed at a different location. When I arrived to pick up my truck it wasn't ready and no one was on site and no way of getting the keys. So I call Sierra yard and they were able to help me very nice people.Matthew T.
