Not letting the customer know until the day before their pick up where the truck is actually to be picked up. The location switches and is extremely frustrating with less than 24hrs.to alter plans. U-haul on the whole doesn't really seem to care much about the customer... must be nice to be able to disregard service and still be able to stay in business. It's too bad they have a bit of a stranglehold on the industry.

Upon arrival the gentlemen working was very kind and helpful. When we returned the van the lady working was also very kind and helpful! Very nice experience!

Having the mobile check-in option is nice, though I recommend allowing the final verification step to be done prior to check-in. It added time to the pick-up and could have easily been done at the same time as uploading my driver's license.

The process took a long time. The first woman was very nice and tried her best. However They overcharged me and wrote the wrong initial miles in. It was very shady. They didn't let me check back in the vehicle and close out in person. They switched out the staff at the end to a very rude person who they had to forewarn me about and it was far worse than anyone could prepare for. She was very rude in her tone, and played dumb when I was she was going to close this out I got given another number to call and was told it would be resolved tomorrow and I wouldn't be charged a late fee. Instead they overcharged me on the miles. I also noticed the mile counter added in about 3 extra miles as it was and when I calculated event with that the total should have been 25 not 38. These people should not be allowed to haves. Uhaul to sell. It makes for a bad name for uhaul in general and I don't know if I can trust this company if they let people like this represent them. I want a refund. This was awful and they conned me by lying about the mileage. I didn't go 38 miles. The most I could have gone was 25 and that's rounding up and I brought it back with more gas than I received it with. I will be putting out a report with my bank for fraud if this is not corrected.

I felt that the unit was not clean when we received and that the cleaning charge was uncalled for as we took the unit to get cleaned prior to returning it. We felt that there was an automatic charge for going to the burning man event even though the unit was returned in better condition than when received. Appreciated the efforts from the manager to decrease the cleaning cost but still felt that it was high considering the amount of time put into cleaning it prior to returning and the condition it was in when we picked it up.

Make sure customers returns equipment clean.. I rented a 10 foot truck and it was so dirty inside when I picked it up...

I went to check out the vehicle at 3/8 gas. Receipt checkout said 1/2 gas. My trip was a total of 13 miles per the receipt and filled the tank up with 2.5 gallons of gas. Attendant claimed that I checked out the truck at 1/2 and needed to fill it to 1/2, so I added 1.5 more gallons. The tank was still at 3/8 when I checked it out. I think he was trying to get me to pay for when THEY checked out the vehicle from the local UHAUL location instead of when I checked it out. If UHAUL tries to charge me extra for the discrepancy, I will be filing a formal complaint.

No assistance when renting, gas mileage wrong, milage wrong, no dolly charged for both and equipment that I did not ise and was not available. Took 4 hours to get rental stated at 7:30 did not picp up till 11:15. It's was such a poor representation. I was told dolly and equipment charges would be returned to my card. I am still waiting for a return call. None of the representatives are authorized to address real issues that can't be resolved at the site location.

I went to pick up the truck at 8:15 am, the cashier was very lay back and watching race show while at work and making customer waiting for him.I got the car around 9 am with 1/4 tang of gas, I put him $20 for gas and drove the truck for 5 miles and returned the truck at 12:30 pm same day with 3/4 tang of gas. Yet, I rent the truck for 24 hours. When I got there I told the cashier I return the truck early because I have to catch a flight at 3 pm. During inspection of truck I asked him if I will get a credit for my gas, he turned and look at me and ignore me with a response. I asked him again he got so angry with me and state "don't you I'm busy". I said you can answer me while you look at the truck, he said "NOW YOU TELLING Me HOW TO DO MY JOB" . He went inside sit and watch his show with the door lock, while customer are waiting to pay for gas. finally, after i said to the customers that his in there watching his show, he opened the door with attitude toward me. he took will not open the door to give me the paper he push and wrinkle it under that little hole. I will report him he said "I don't care". As far, his a cashier at that gas station I will not recommend anyone to rent truck from that place. my experienced.

is the closes to us and every single time we pick up the credit card gets blocked.

I rented for a van through the internet but got a truck instead. Was told that the U-Haul internet has not been updated yet. Was told that they don't have vans available at all anymore. Took awhile to get the full service needed for the rental truck but only one employee was also taking care of the gas customers, etc. Will take my business else where.

The dolly I requested was not available and the clerk didn't even bother to tell me that it wasn't in the truck and they don't have them. caused us some problems and her reasoning was that they are a small location and they don't have all of that equipment. Should not have been allowed to reserve equipment for pickup at a location that can't fill the order.

Their printer didn't work so I was off by 1 hour which cost me $30. Sim Manuta Jr never returned my calls. Why did he leave his card and not return calls?

The interior of the van was not cleaned from previous use. It smelled and floor was dirty. Exterior of van was dirty.
