My reasoning for renting the van was very stressful, but the Uhaul rental was the highlight of the whole experience. I definitely will be a repeat customer.

MARK RVery bad service, ppl here are weird,, gave me a uhall with full of dirt and leaves even after they flushed the car, it’s still very dirty even I asked the guy cleaned it again, The bad thing is after I returned the uhall, got a receipt saying missing/damage charges for $150, it’s ridiculous, I’m pretty sure car didn’t get anything damaged or missing, very very bad experience
Hongtao XMy reservation was switched from a Dixon location within walking distance to a Davis location, approximately a 20 minute drive each way in the wrong direction. This added extra time and extra expenses to an already expensive day. There was zero attempt from uhaul to make up for the extra costs. The website is very odd and I was annoyed I had to take pictures of myself and my drivers license in the dark in some random driveway near a frontage road. Why wasn’t this available to me prior to checking in? Then the website asked for a third party to sign off on my reservation. I couldn’t use my number and had to have uhaul text my mother at 7 in the morning before getting in. She received a text saying someone would call soon but never did. Completely asinine and unnecessary and it could’ve held up my whole move. Ridiculous. After a fairly lengthy sign in process, I figure out how to get in my truck and it drives super awkwardly. Very sensitive acceleration and very loud brakes that sound like a jet engine. What I thought would be a $70ish reservation ended up being $150, due in part to the last minute change in location and other nickel and diming. I sincerely hope I never have to use a uhaul again.

crystal pThe main desk changed my reservation time (3 hours ahead) without notifying me or requesting confirmation. So, I was forced to alter my schedule to be able to get a truck for the next day. Then, the car was dirty.
Christian BI rented an appliance dolly, but no one tell me there’s no dolly in van. When I call the telephone operator, he mentioned I can take one from local storage. However, I cannot get the dolly because I didn’t rent their storage room. The van was good. Whats wrong with U-Haul?

Stephen JThe truck was poorly maintained. The steering had so much play it was dangerous to be on the road. The front shocks were completely worn out and bounced uncontrollably. This truck was a hazard to be on the road.
robert cUhaul wasted my time. I have rented for six years multiple times and the agent still asks for two references as if I would still the truck. Next an erroneous e alert required me to call a toll free number which put me on hold for over ten minutes. The next time I will look for a different vendor who treats repeat customers with the respect they deserve.
