Kyaw AU-Haul called the evening before my thing and said the truck was not available. Tried to talk me into a pick-up location over an hour away. Utterly useless horrible customer service. Eventually agreed to give me smaller truck at original location after I got angry. Useless. Useless. Hate that U-Haul is so ubiquitous. Will certainly attempt to use any other company if at all possible after this experience. Failure. Failure. Bad.

Christian RU-haul was relatively clean, but dirty in the cup holders with lots of crumbs. Check-in and check-out process was very annoying; why would it make you pay and then proceed to ask for photos. Weird set-up. Doesn’t make sense to have to drop the truck off where I picked it up — the whole point is that I’m moving. Overall fine.

SWAPNIL SI didn’t interact with anyone for drop off. The parking lot is on an incline so it’s a little stressful to park the truck.

EPI RThey rented me a car dolly that was badly damaged and it could not transport a car. I was 100 miles away and could not take it back. I had to rent another one and pay twice the amount to tow my car home. I also had to drive an extra 100 miles to locate a car dolly from Uhaul. Uhaul should reimburse me for the extra dolly I had to rent and for the extra mileage and time. Terrible, terrible service and costly due to dealers error.

susan sI want to point out that I made the trailer reservation a year ago. The day before going to the appointment I received an email indicating the location was changed. When I went to the location for my appointment on Sunday the store was closed. I went to the original and they were able to assist me but not until 3 hours later after my 9am appointment. This caused me a waste of time and a late departure for a long drive from Miami to Indiana. This change was done by the regional office.

Lloyd HService provided was great. The box van 7884 drove well and my only complaint was it takes several attempts to shut cab doors especially the passenger side. It must be from years of people using the doors as support getting in and out. Doors are not for climbing. Thanks Uhaul for providing a great value service.

I would like to thank Brad again for his friendly, engaging, and professional service, as always. One suggestion would be to mention the default Towing mode and how to disengage it by pressing the button at the end of the shifting lever if it is not needed, thus improving gas mileage.
ROGER BI was charged an additional $40 for an extra day that I didn’t use and the next time you rent a U-Haul be advised you will pay almost double of what was advertised since it’s a franchise and both U-Haul’s (if you return it to a different location) will collect there money.
Angela DI was charged for 75 miles worth of travel, told that I would not be charged the full amount of I didn't use it. And I returned it with more gas than it had when I picked it up. I was never refunded for the miles I did not drive... I am not pleased with this company or this location

Ray GThe uhaul had two dollies/handtrucks that i did not ask for and were in the way for my move. It also had blankets and random possesions of the last users. When i said the truck had to be cleaned because of this the app tried to charge me as if i had created the mess. The app was not intuitive and kept skipping ahead. The lot was very tight and hard to park in. The fuel was left at almost empty. Since i only drove about eight miles i filled it back up only a little because customer service told me to leave it as id found it. Then i got 60 dollars worth of charges in fuel and fuel services as if i had been the one to leave it on empty. It was an extremely negative experience. The customer service team is kind and the only good part of the experience. I will never reccommend uhaul to basically anyone because the experience really was extremely simple and didnt need to be this way.

Robert SThe truck had something spilled in the cab which I had to clean up before I returned it so I wouldn't be charged. I completed the pick-up via the app and when I looked in the truck there was no appliance dolly. I was told to contact customer service, while I was going through this process, they left the truck running and ultimately the gas that was on the contract was not what I ended up leaving with. I then had to drive to another location to pick up the appliance dolly which they did not have, so I had to get a utility dolly. I scheduled the Uhal with an anappliance dolly which I never got and the regular dolly was not sufficient for what I needed it for. I was charged $13 for a utility dolly when it says $7 on the app and dolly itself. After all of this I was an hour and a half late to meet with moving helpers.
Tonya GBreak fluid was leaking and door were bent causing it to be difficult to close once open. Location also gave me inaccurate information which caused me multiple issues I'm now resolving. Staff however was friendly.
jessica fI have mobility issues and rented a van. They changed me to a truck without notifying me. The rental location is on the side of a hill. The trucks were parked so close together it made it more difficult to get into the vehicle. I nearly fell backwards out of the truck trying to get in. The truck was dirty. When we decided there was no earthly way to use this truck, they charged me over $100 for a 40 minute round trip to return the truck 23 hours early. The only bright spot was the guy working overtime helped me get the keys out of the lockbox
KIMBERLY EEverything was smooth. People were nice. Truck did what it was supposed to. I didn’t get any extra charges like I have from another location in Bloomington that is no longer operating. This is how a U-Haul rental should go.

BRANDIS YFriendly and helpful people. Dropping off the vehicle is quit as is the response as far as extra charges. I did turn in the vehicle clean and swept out with the furniture pads neatly folded. Not quite sure why I did not get the $25 credit for turning in a clean vehicle.
