To be sent to pick up a truck 1 hour away on rental day is really not cool. This is my 3rd rental in less than 1 month and it's always an issue getting the vehicle as ordered. The pickup location is always changed. I have 2 more rentals in the near future and I will look at other options.MICHEL.R L.

We left a message they never called so we needed to do the transaction online. We received the invoice yesterday the invoice is twice the amount we were expected. I left a message again to the lady in charge and have not returned my call. I am extremely frustrated and upset about this issue. Someone needs to contact me.JOHN W.
I reserved a truck and a couple of dollys a month before my moving date. A week before the move, I showed up in person at the relevant UHaul location to make sure everything was in order and they assured me that it was. 24h before my move, a representative called me to inform me that they didn't have a truck for me. This company is so clueless that the representative was actually surprised that I wasn't pleased with this information. UHaul's solution to this issue was to offer me a truck 100km away from the initial location where I rented the truck (they acted as if I should be grateful that they found this solution for some reason). On such short notice, I was not able to find an alternative and had to drive the 200km round trip to pick up the truck. Obviously, the truck did not have any of the reserved equipment (dollys, etc.) so I had to move everything by hand. The icing on the cake is that UHaul had the audacity to charge me for extra mileage I put on the truck (oh and their call center staff were super rude and acted as if I should have known Â« reserving a truck Â» didn't mean I would actually have a truck on the day). To summarize my experience, if I found myself in the midst of a zombie apocalypse and my only way out of town was a UHaul truck, I would stay put. I would rather be eaten alive by zombies than deal with that company again. To be honest, I don't know why anybody would choose to do business with a logistics company that does not follow any logic. 0/10, will not try again.JEROME B.

This was not the location my online reservation said I was to get the trailer at, and I would have cancelled and found another location if I had known. Instead U-haul told me the pickup location was GTS gas in Cornwall which is what I wanted, even during the check-in the night before at 8pm online (I had a printout if it). When I got there the equipment I needed was not there nor had it been for over a month according to the owner. I called the U-haul number and talked to a guy who was rude and useless who informed me that I had gone to the wrong place - when I told him I had a confirmation showing where I was as the pickup location he simply told me that I was wrong and the trailer was in St. Isadore. So I had to go an extra 27km past my destination AND back to get a trailer. Absolutely ridiculous. When I went to return it today at the location I originally chose they told me they had no room for it and I had to take it elsewhere - why not add more inconvenience to this experience?!!? The place I returned it to was great. The overall experience was terrible. The express check-in was completely pointless as I had to do everything again anyway when picking up the trailer other than pay.Tony M.
No one at office no one answered our phone calls number that was listed. Got to location finally found a phone number on locked door. Called was told to just leave the trailer in the lane way and we provided the trailer number at which time we were told we would recieve email of drop off confirmation. Still after 20hours no confirmation. Had to call uhaul for assistance.Denise R.
