For pick up they did not have the 2 dozen furniture blankets only had 10 but charged 24 anyways. Was charged for a furniture dolly but told we don’t have any but charging you anyways take it up with uhaul on app? No instructions given for drop off or drop box, we returned truck two days early on Friday 2 pm instead of Sunday went to hand keys and see to get extra days removed but office locked on a Friday middle afternoon with nowhere to leave keys. Tried calling Friday no answer, called Saturday morning still no one there to answer. Then Sunday by pure luck there was someone who then proceeded to charge us the two days cause we couldn’t leave keys but truck was returned with gas on Friday afternoon with no one closed office till Sunday. Plus we drove from one village to next 3 times back and forth charged 194$ for distance premium? So no dolly, missing 14 moving blankets, charged two extra days rental cause their office was closed and a distance premium for moving 10 minutes away …530$ rental plus gas refill. Plus charging for items they don’t provide and say deal with uhaul we can’t credit you. Will never recommend

We received a call from U-Haul less than 24 hours before the pick up to inform us that the equipment reserved (6x12 trailer) was not available anywhere in the area and that it was switched for a 5x8 trailer. This equipment was reserved for a move of approximately 500km and could have cost us a supplementary trip which would have taken 2 days and cost us several hundred dollars. This is the second time U-Haul does not honour a reservation and I now consider U-Haul bookings as unreliable. We will try to avoid using your services in the future.

ALAIN JThe vehicle was clean, but it felt incredibly unsafe. The steering was very loose and needed a lot of effort to stay in the lanes/not drift. The brakes were also not the best and left us feeling worried. The sounds the vehicle made while accelerating reminded me of an airplane taking off. The AC also did not work in the vehicle.

I had to wait for 25 minutes for someone to show Up, then when the worker showed up, he took My license and credit card to the back room, Then called someone random and that person asked for my credit card. The truck Was full of snow and stuck in ice. The wrist absolute experience
