Our reservation was for a different site that is a dedicated Uhaul shop, but they called the evening before pickup to let us know they did not have the trailer we needed but there is one for us at Star One Auto. Upon arrival at Star One Auto, we were a little skeptical, but the owner is super friendly and very helpful. As soon as he greeted us all of our skepticism was gone. All of the reservation information had been transferred over without issue. Best advice to the next customer would be to prepare for a little fun banter, the owner of Star One Auto is a great guy.NICOLE V.

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Trying to get a hitch and trailer installed I was told to go to Middletown to pick up the hitch which would be installed at the Airway location. Got to Middletown and they knew nothing of those instructions. Was told the 2pm appointment I was EMAILED was an error and it would take an additional day. Uhaul as a company does not have a good system for closing out your order after drop off if a customer can't get the app to work. There should be an alternative means to close out the order instead of commenting they will put a note on the record that I dropped it off at the proper location. It leaves me the customer in a bad situation because the order is not closed out, which means I'm liable if something happens between the time of drop off and verification when the business opens up the next day. Luckily after numerous tries and attempts I was able to get the application to work and close out my order after drop off. You make it to difficult if the normal doesn't work....or the technology fails and put all the burden onto the customer to figure it out. Anyway, I hope this helps you as a company to provide a better service, it use to be really simple to rent from you and now it's difficult.Thomas B.

I was charged for a dolly which I requested, but was not provided. I called a service representative upon realizing this Right after picking the uhaul up and was told that I would not be charged for the dolly as I was not given it. Despite being told this by the customer service representative and telling this to the man I dropped the uhaul off to it was listed on my receipt as I was charged for it.Natasha F.

Apparently you have changed the policy where you get charged based on the drop off time. As a result, I was unexpectedly charged an extra day rental even though the site was not even open. That was never the policy in the past and it was not explained to me. This change will drive me to pick up my rental at the very last minute on the pick up day.Thomas D.

The mileage on the rental contract did not match the vehicle odometer. The turn-in date on the rental contract was incorrect. It reflected that I had to turn in the vehicle less than 24 hours after I picked it up, though it stated I was allotted 2 days to complete the move. Finally, many of the moving blankets were wet/damp and very dirty, even though they were packaged in plastic. They smelled like wet dog and were unusable. Sloppy, deceptive management!Russell G.

My truck had damage (which was marked as previous to my rental). My pickup location was changed from where I selected during my on-line reservation. It just smells a lot like someone trying to pass the buck on a less than desireable piece of equipment to someone else since mine was a one-way rental. Some of the damage presents sharp edges that could cause injury to a person's legs.Daniel S.
