I needed to go inside the office to retrieve the key after starting the 24/7 Uhaul check-out because the key lockbox was not on the truck. Office manager said the reason is most people get confused (or probably just don't read directions). I'd suggest de-activating the virtual check-out option if the customer still needs to go inside. Otherwise, this location was great (would recommend)!Brock B.

Vehicle rented to me had NO LICENSE PLATES. Thank goodness I took video footage of vehicle before I left uhaul lot... however at the time I didn't notice they were missing. When I called to switch with different vehicle I was first accused of taking plates... then when said i have video footage prior to leaving lot, the tune changed and the guy said oh well we have had some catalytic conveyors stolen and such so maybe a license plate too. Then I was told I would have to return the vehicle and there would be no replacement vehicle my band decided to chance it for or road gig. When I returned the vehicle I fueled it above what it was when I got it. Went over assumed mileage and instead of making it a wash with me adding extra fuel the debacle with the plates, the jerk said i already sent the adjusted receipt to your phone. This is my second experience with U Haul and I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE MY EXPERIENCE. UNLESS... this is resolved by corporate somehow.Jacob S.

1. Clean up your website. It says my location opens at 9:30 on Saturday and it actually opened at 9:00. It says that the rate is $1.19/MI and it is actually $1.59/MI. 2. Have 2 people work Saturday. I felt so bad for the young man behind the counter. It was not good for him to be that overworked nor good customer service. He told me to bring it back by 9am (and others) and it didn't open till 10:00a on Sunday so we sat in a row waiting for him to show up. I had brought my newspaper so I was ok. I think he was too overwhelmed. He apologized fine. I am concerned that this overwhelming work goes on every Saturday. Maybe that's why you have to fill the position again.CONNIE S.

Hello! I've been using U-Haul for all of my moving needs for over a decade. I keep coming back for the reliability and service. This last trip was not a good experience though. I arrived 10 minutes before pick-up as the mobile app told me to. Because of U-Haul's app problems (not my phone or internet service) I was not able to complete the check-in process. Note, I also did a soft "checked in" online 2 days prior via email, to expedite the process. When the app was not working as the emails told me it was supposed to in the step-by-step process, I went to the main office area and rang the buzzer, knocked on doors etc trying to get a hold of someone to help me. No one answered. I didn't call U-Haul's phone number b/c it took me a half an hour to connect with a rep the day before and I did not have the time to wait. I had a couple of movers meeting me at 11a and I still had some last-minute packing to do. So I went back to my car and tried the app again. No luck. I circled back and tried to knock on the doors again, this time I was let in by a U-Haul rep. She finished my check-out process and I was on my way. I arrived at 9:50a and left the parking lot at 10:35a. When I got home I realized the furniture pads I ordered weren't in the truck nor did I remember to ask for them because I was in a hurry, stressed and had too many other things going on. In the past, a rep usually made sure I had them before I left the store. My partner went back to the U-Haul location and picked them up. Her trip took an additional 25 minutes, time away from packing and helping with the move, as we had planned. Moving is stressful. Moving during a heat wave is worse. I hope you can figure out how to make the mobile app process more reliable and efficient and also have more experienced representatives working at your stores. Thank you for your time. criticism is mainly with the website interface and user experience. my phone kept showing errors for the location services (despite it being on) and when I went to scan the locations barcode, it wouldn't accept any of my photos. I ended up having to use my friend phone, after multiple tries we finally got it to work. I ended up being late for my apartment move in ðŸ™„ since this was just a drop off location and not an official uhaul store, no one was there to assist me. I waited, I knocked, I felt like I was huffed at by the person that I did find. probably not using this again.Mia D.

When I called and spoke with customer service I explained to the gentleman that I was moving a refrigerator and stove. He reserved a truck without a ramp and that location didn't have a truck with a ramp. It was horrible getting the fridge in particular in. After Hours drop-off. I was charged for 2 extra days of rental including insurance due to not being able to drop off the vehicle after hours. First day was due to having to return the next day that the office closed at 4PM. Second day was charged because I couldn't make it until after the rental period and was charged for 24 more hours. When speaking with the person during checkout they said we would only be charged for 2 days but I received a pleasant surprise in my email stating I would be charged for the 3 full days. I called customer service to dispute the charges and they submitted a claim and told me that it would be unlikely I would be refunded any money. As someone who has used U-Haul my whole life, these business practices were very disappointing and really brings into question if I would ever use them again or refer business to them.Christine S.

I was unable to pick up my truck at the time I reserved it online because this location was closed until 10am on Sunday. This information was not provided when I rented my truck. Then when I used my phone to reserve the truck it would not allow me to use my phone number and so I had to go into the office and rent the truck from scratch. Please fix the online system!James P.

There was no after hours drop off available. I didn't know this ahead of time, so I drove there and was unable to drop off the truck. I had to return the next day, but they didn't open until 9am which meant that I was unable to return the truck by 8 am, and I was charged for another day! So I had to pay $50 extra. When you give quotes online, include the entire cost, because I was quoted $95 for the rental and $14 for the insurance, when I physically got the truck, there were extra fees that were not in the original quote, the entire rental cost me $143Jerome H.

I was allowed to rent a truck after the hours the location was open. Because this location was gated, I couldn't return the truck or the key so I had to call customer service and return them the next morning. Picking up the key involved someone sliding it under a door and the return process was the same. We're living in strange times, but this was unpleasant and unprofessional in my opinion.Jason R.
There was no lockbox available for us to drop our keys off. Although we were there during business hours no one answered the phone number listed on the door to get assistance.
