Office staff was highly unprofessional, with the exception of the man who started off helping us. The vehicle was returned just after 5pm with keys slid under the door as per instructions on an "Be back at 5:30pm" sign, location was open until 7pm, yet the vehicle was not checked in until a few hours after they opened the next day. I had to call twice to ensure this got done, as I was constantly getting text alerts reminding me to return the truck.

Twice I spoke with UHaul Customer service to confirm I would not have to be present as the cardholder to pay for the rental, but I in fact was required to cancel my morning appointments and drive 30 miles because "Customer Service" at UHaul is a general concept and not specific to serving *my* particular location(??) so: Huge waste of my time, energy and MONEY and HUGE incompetence on the part of customer service, who even put me on hold because they wanted to be "extra sure." Grr. Anyway, thx for reading:)

I was never contacted like I requested to dispute a charge. If you advertise for a location to be a 24 hour pick up/drop off location, then that location should be guaranteed to be as such. So when I drive the truck back in the evening to return and the rental location is closed AND SPECIFICALLY SAYS NO AFTER HOUR RETURNS, Uhaul should check up on that. So I wasted an extra 10 miles, gas, and time having to come back in the morning. When I returned in the morning to the location, the online hours did not match the actual hours. So I sat and waited again. Then, Uhaul had the audacity to charge me for the extra miles. Again, if you are going to advertise as a 24 hour pick up/drop off, then actually make that happen. Otherwise, you should let the customer know (in the app??????) that the location closes at a specific time.

The location's internet connection was down, so there was a long delay in picking up equipment. The two men on duty were excellent, though, and did their best working with what they had. We increased the size of the truck upon arrival, so perhaps that explained the condition of the truck. It had not been cleaned, inside or out, since the last customer. When we cleaned it out at the end of OUR rental, my 10 year old niece found a package of pills, and a few other gems. The pills turned out to be Viagra. yuck. The yes recommendation is based solely on the professionalism of the staff in dealing with a technological failure.

I asked for a drop off location in Oregon City and the staff set my drop off location in Beaverton. I had to drive an extra 40 minutes and 20 miles out of my way at the end of a VERY long move day. Ridiculous and bad customer service

I reserved a 10' truck on line. When I checked in with Charles Hunter, he was welcoming and quick. He went through everything efficiently and didn't waste my time. He even offered me a cold bottled water, which I needed because I had helped my friend move up to a third floor apartment during 80°+ weather. Thanks to Mr Hunter, this was my most pleasant experience at any Uhaul ever. Use him as your template. Best dressed office person I've ever met at a Uhaul.

The location is fine, Uhauls customer service is atrocious. Parking brake if truck is broken and clearly has been for sometime. Spent over an hour on hold with “customer service” then tried roadside assistance, same problem. Then used Uhaul Cares via Twitter. My online rental was booked for pick up on 7/3 and return on 7/4 but drop off location is closed on 7/4, shouldn’t Uhaul know this? Pick up process via app took way longer then it needed to. They had to verify me with an alternate phone number, person kept saying that i couldn’t use myself to do this. The person I provided was Jeremy my name is Jeff. Then she asked who she was chatting with, the same person who the rental is under and I just uploaded my drivers license. Truck was dirty on the inside when I picked it up, crumbs everywhere. Overall, not a very good interaction.

Very disappointed that the dolly and handtrucks weren't available, as reserved 10 days previously. Got last truck and desk guy made it seem like reservations weren't even looked at. Yes I was there on time. Made our move 2x harder.

Rented a pick-up truck for 4 hours. It reeked of body odor and cigarette smoke. Glad I only needed it for a few hours as it was hot and it was pretty foul each time we parked and returned to it. Lady at desk was very kind and received my suggestion for some Fabreeze quite well.

I had a reservation, at time of pickup 3:00, I had to wait for the return of the gentlemen that was working Saturday 1,2019. When inquiring about my reservation for a $19.95 truck, I was told that the person at the reservation had no buisness making a reservation without knowing if the truck would be return. He looked on his monitor and turned it around to show me the only thing available was a van and a $29 95 truck. The rep man spent about 5 mins telling me why he couldn't reverse the situation and told me to contact the 800 uhaul number and complain that they wasted my time, but never did he once offer me the truck that was available. I than asked the man could I get the truck that's out there in the parking lot, he told me yeah but he couldn't give me the rate of $19.95 like the reservation and again call Bill Stone to comp)ain. So I rented what was there at the rate of $29.95 because we needed the truck. The gentlemen also placed a hold of $ 67.58 approx. I questioned it and he told me it's based on his estimate of the miles I'm going to take. I was pissed. I asked him to change them to the distance I told him i would take and again he said its UHauls rules not mines and to take it up with them. So i left angry. I returned the truck the next day at 3:38 this time it was a lady who was. Working with red hair. She checks the vehicles miles and inspect for damage and gas. She tells me I went 15 miles and that's my charge. So she goes in and in no time tells me my bill is $91.some odd cents. I asked for what? Well she says me miles which came to 16.00 and rental and tax. I told her that she needed to go over each charge. She couldn't answering the questions about rental tax amounts, mileage Amounts and rental truck amounts. I had questions and the only thing she said was you have to call this number and there was nothing that she could do about it, she didn't care how I explained the previous situation, so I was "LiIVID" TO SAY THE LEAST. I ended up contacting someone who made things right and thank goodness for him. Bottom line, this issue could have been taken care of from the very beginning of the reservation

Very good customer service that day from the phone to the desk. Person explained everything clearly and easily. only note - it was not clear from the phone call with UHAUL central that I was renting the furniture pads and not buying them.
