This is where things become ridiculous!!! My agreement had me dropping my rental off at the location noted above. I arrived yesterday (2 days before my rental was due) and was told they could not accept because they did not have room??? Then I was told they did not have my reservation in the system??? I was told I had to drop off at a location 10 miles away. The person at this location called Uhaul and we spoke to a highly un-professional representative who told me the drop off was changed and I should have received a text. I did in fact receive the text, while she was on the phone with us??? Talk about bait and switch ... I was then told I would be charged an additional rate for dropping off at the wrong location. I reiterated that I followed Uhauls direction and intended to drop off at this location which is what I ended up doing after wasting 40 minutes going back and forth with this ridiculous conversation. I can assure you this will be my last rental with Uhaul and highly encourage consumers to steer clear of this organization.ANTHONY A.

The truck's driver side door handle was broken and the drivers side window was down when I picked up the truck. It had rained earlier, so the drivers seat was soaking wet. I had to have the window down and reach through the window to open the drivers side door or climb in the passenger side. Also, when I picked up the truck, the fuel tank was not full and the cargo door was not functioning properly. No t sure if the repair issues are the responsibility of the dealer.William J.
Contract had me deliver to â€œsunshine auto repairâ€ tamiami rd. They did not have our order to receive the equip, they said the lot was too full and had us drive another 20 min to Store Smart. Yard too small to receive equip. Took 1 hr to unload. The person there was very helpful but the whole drop off experience was awful.Nicholas F.

Great experience, really easy to get to, so close to where we needed to be to our storage unit and dropping items off at our home. Made moving so much easier knowing we had to return the truck right around the corner after moving so much stuff. Parking lot used for pickup/drop off is extremely tight. Driving a full size truck and dropping off a 6x12 trailer was not easy as we were required to leave it in the only single parking space left in a tight corner the did not have enough room for easy maneuvering.TREVOR M.

Don't charge me for the damn key when the location doesn't have a drop box for the key. Plus, we couldn't get out cause the gate wouldn't open. Charging me an extra $53 for the key being â€œlostâ€ when I put it on the door of the damn place is just messed up.Dylan Z.
Location did not have my rental reservation truck available as contracted. I was redirected across town to another location. It added 2 hours to my planned timetable which rippled through my day. The office manager confirmed â€œthis happened all the time!â€ Your company does the customer a disservice by not notifying in advance that a pickup charge is required due to insufficient inventory. if i could give ZERO rating i would. The pickup i rented was not checked over by the employee and myself prior to taking it off the property. It was not checked over when I returned the truck. I WILL N OT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES. He said to come at 4pm, closing time, the truck could not be dropped off any place else and the sign jon the door stated: WILL RETURN AT 530PM. he said sometimes the clock gets messed up when shutting the door. MAHYBE JUST mahybe he should check that also. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS LOCATIONANGELA I.

The contract said that the gas was at 1/4 full. I was upset with that because that meant that I would need to stop at a gas station 2 times. One time to put enough gas in to get to where I was going and back and a second time to replace what I used. That was very time consuming. The gas tank should always be full when you pick it up and you refill it to full at drop off. Very bad customer service there. However when I got into the truck it was not in fact 1/4 full but rather a hair over the red line. Very upsetting. Someone isn't doing their job. The truck itself was ready for the junk yard. The a/c on max was not enough to breath comfortably in. I had to open the windows in the Florida heat just to â€œcool offâ€ it was in the 90's out. Then when I got on the highway the speed limit was 70mph but the truck could barely handle 50 mph. The truck also made terrible loud squeaking sounds. Not sure what that was about. Maybe brakes, who knows. Horrible experience. I stunk and was soaking wet with sweat when I got home from that piece of crap rental.Joanne L.
