We couldn't get a Uhaul till 330 Sat. ....so we only had 4 hrs before it got dark. I asked Sunday afternoon if we could have it for an extra hour. They said it would cost an extra day. It was hard to get help on Sunday so we were an hour late. We have rented uhaul 4 times in 2 mos.....No one was waiting for the truck when we returned it. Mike at the other location in RD would have not charged us the extra hour. I am very disappointed and would like some type of refund.thx

Drop off was after hours. So no one there. Was a bit difficult to find where to drop keys. Maybe a note on door as to where the drop box is located, would be helpful!

I was very disappointed as I had booked for the gasoline alley for 9:00 , was called at 8:55 when I was in my way to the location that the 15’ is not avaible as the family hasn’t returned it. Then I was sent to north saying that the 15’ is available there, On reaching the north location they told me they don’t have the 15’, was offered a 26’ truck which I definetly didn’t need it so I refused to take it. Then I called the customer care and they send me to self smart Where they finally had the 15’ truck .

I had booked my Uhaul for 2 days and Uhaul changed it to a 1 day rental when they changed my desired pickup location. I made numerous attempts at calling the customer service number and spent hours on hold waiting to talk to someone and no one responded. Also sent an email to the customer service trying to resolve the issue. After I returned the truck I got an email back from Uhaul saying that I need to call the customer service line to book an extra day. Basically all they did is told me what I told them. They did not resolve the issue what so ever and there response didn't come till after I was done with the rental. Super bad customer service and I will never rent with Uhaul again!

All personnel were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was no parking for customers at Calgarys 2 locations. Otherwise they changed my reservation a couple of times as my drivers had to change their times. All was done with a smile. Highly recommend.

The windshield was very dirty and covered with dead bugs from the last user. I know I could stop at a gas station to clean the windshield, but I would hope this would be done before picking up the vehicle. The gas tank was full, so I would've had to make a special trip just to clean the windshield.

1. Because of the 2 hour delay at the truck pickup location, we were late arriving at StoreSmart Self Storage. I called in advance of their closing time that our arrival time might be 20-30 minutes late. John graciously waited for us to arrive. 2. I dropped the truck off the next morning when they reported that I drove a small number miles over my limit and they graciously comp'd the difference. It was a nice gesture. 3. I was questioned about the missing furniture dolly. I explained that I only received one. They accepted my word for it and did not charge me for it. I did not realise that the woman at the pickup location still put down I received 2 furniture dollies when I only received one.

My reservation was booked a month prior. Upon recieving my location call for pickup the day before, I was flabbergasted that I had to drive over 90 mins to another city to pick up the trailer I required. Being in the middle of moving provinces and leaving the next day, this was definitely a hindrance of my plans. Despite that I had received a great rental deal. Having to take 4 hours from moving to drive out of Calgary to Red Deer was unaccomadating. What I dont understand is why this bike trailer was not brought to Calgary for customer service. A thought out to Uhaul for customer satisfaction. Over I was very pleased, especially with the discount I was given.

I rent lots from U-haul this last time I rented a trailer to have the jack broken!! I had to physically help to pick it up by hand and put it on my ball. That being said I could of at least got a discount but didn’t even get that!! And unhooking it was a nightmare I had other appointments and had to wait till the person found some people to lift it off my ball!! Not very impressed !!!

I'm extremely unimpressed with the service Uhaul provided. -sent to the wrong location (already closed) -made me late -forced to drive to the opposite side of town -told me I'd get a discount for my troubles, no discount applied, even after I told her it should be on there, she told me id need to discuss it with Uhaul personally, but she could see the vague note. I don't think I'll be be using your services again unless absolutely necessary.

When u say all you need to do is put gas in maybe someone should also check all the fluids there was no oil n we over heated in the middle of the mountains with no cell service. We had to sit an hour to let engine cool off than pray we made it to the next gas station safely

I had requested to pickup closer to me and there have been 4 trucks there all day, instead you chose to send me across the city as my pickup location this cost me money.... be more diligent in giving your customers what they request.

The uhaul pay machine would not work properly and take my credit card so the attendant had to run my card through her computer, essentially rendering my credit card security at risk. She had problems with the program and had to re-enter my information 3 times to get my reservation and start the rental. At first my reservation was missing. I tried calling the location yesterday before the store closed to find out what the procedure was to drop off the unit after hours but no one answered. I left a message but no one returned my call. I called this morning during office hours as well to ensure everything was ok, again no one answered. I left a message requesting a return phone call but have not received one. Service is very poor and I am not happy about the poor security measures when using my credit card to make the purchase.
