Trucks were located behind the facilities in what looked like a junk yard. The distance between the trucks and the lock box was not convenient. There did not appear to be any lights so if you were to come late at night, it would not seem very safe.Daniel M.

Very little equipment at this location. Didn't have the size trailer I wanted so I had to take a larger trailer that was way too big for my needs. I have to pay extra for the larger trailer. No offer to discount my fee due to having to take a larger trailer. They offer no military, AAA or AARP discount, in fact they acted like I wanted to borrow the trailer for free when I asked if they offered any such discount. I wish Penske stocked trailers.Janet B.

My reserved vehicle was not at this place. Had to call uhaul and waited on phone for 30 minutes. Stated was only one working and sorry for delay. I was truly inconvenienced having to get a much smaller truck and making more trips to move. Lady did give me $19.95 rental fee and .89 a mile however I think I should have gotten a better deal.Chris C.

The woman who checked me in for my rental was so rude and has almost ruined my opinion of Uhaul as a whole. I asked her to verify that my allotted miles had been updated because my pick up location was changed the day prior to my pick up. She said she had nothing to do with that so I asked her to wait to charge my card until I talked to Uhaul. She threw my debit card onto the counter at me. While I was on hold she decided to update the miles herself. So she lied to me about not being able to update the miles. When she gave me the keys, she walked outside with me to show me where the truck was. I asked her to give me a moment to grab some things from my car. She didn't wait for me. I caught up to her and she opened the back gate to show me the truck was swept and that was it. She could not be bothered to do an inspection with me. The gas was at a quarter tank while my contract stated it was halfway between a quarter and a half tank. When I got the truck on the highway, the motor died when I tried to adjust the wheel tilt. I was able to get the truck started again and notified my drop off location of the mechanical issue. Very poor customer service at this location.Kaitlin M.

Nothing. I rented a trailer and once I arrived at my destination, I had a problem with the trailer hitch. Uhaul customer service directed me to a local drop off location and waived the drop off fee due to the unforeseen emergency. True customer service!!Stephen H.

when I first called, I was quoted incorrectly for the rental of the truck. When I picked it up, it was double the cost and upon return, I was charged a huge mileage fee when I had returned it at the proper gas level. I just feel it could have been explained better to me.ANGELA S.

The trailer I rented did not measure 4x8 for which it was advertised. I tried to get a refund but Uhaul denied it. I will never use Uhaul again. there are much better options out there.ronald T.

The truck was very dirty the inside has spill marks and dirt everywhere. The truck was damaged everywhere and the pick up site did not do a walk around. They did not go over anything other then the amount of fuel in the tank. The truck also was very loud it sounded like it needs a new muffler or has an exhaust leak. Either is not safe for a driver. When the tire exploded we could smell exhaust fumes in the cab of the truck and had to keep the windows open for our safety. The head lamps on the truck where completely out of alignment and the truck was not safe to drive at low light. I took pictures of how out of alignment the light are. This created a damagerous driving situation and put my family and my life at risk. The right light aimed to the shoulder and the left to the sky. I ended up having a family member drive from Michigan to Ohio to drive with us as I no longer trusted the truck we rented at all and left I could no longer have my family in it. It was a damagerous truck and needs repairs. It should have never been rented to us. If the truck wasn't cleaned, lights not checked and had defective tires it obviously wasn't services correctly before we rented it. I would like someone to call me about a refund at 1-804-316-7048. The lack of proper service to the truck could have caused me physical harm form the lighting and the defective tire. The truck also bounce right when empty and full when ever you drove over a bump of any size.Karly S.

They were totally unprepared for us, they tried to charge us more for the insurance than what was quoted on-line, but he did make an adjustment; had problems with the UHaul website and our account; did not have all the equipment we requested; the truck was damaged... put us about half-hour behind schedule and the movers were waiting for us... late start... late night.ROWLAND B.

The proprietor, Richie Allen, had his hours posted with Uhaul as opening at 7AM and his store front lists his hours as 7:30AM. He doesn't open until 8AM. He kept us waiting for 1 hour. I made 2 phone calls to Uhaul and they stood by their information that he was supposed to open at 7AM. I reserved a one day (24 hour) flatbed tow for my antique car. I was charged for 2 days. Richie advised we could return it even when the shop was closed, so we did. We returned it at 3AM the next morning. There were no lights in his parking lot. He called us at 10AM and told us the flat-bed needed to be cleaned and did we want to do it our selves or let him charge us. We figured since the flat-bed had a notice on it saying it was a $20 fee, we would pay to have it cleaned. Being that the lot was unlit we were unaware of the oil on the hitch. Richie did not charge us the stated $20 - he charged us $50! We will NEVER use his establishment again, nor will I recommend his business. And will think twice about using Uhaul in the future. For those prices, I could have called a bigrig company, had them haul my antique and saved a day of my time and a LOT of hassle. Mr. Allen is a terrible representative of what I thought was a reputable company. Too bad for everyone involved.MAGGIE S.

This business tried to charge a $50.00 dollar cleaning fee because there was a little sand in the bottom of the trailer. They said that they were going to have to scrub down the whole trailer in order to clean it. I asked if I could come down and clean it myself to avoid the cleaning fee, and they said yes. It took me less than five minutes to sweep out the floor of the trailer, and they inturn refunded the cleaning charge (which took them 20 minutes to figure out how to refund my credit card). I think it is absolutely ridiculous that five minutes of sweeping could justify a $50 charge. I was very dissatisfied with my return to this business, and would not recommend that anyone use their services for anything.Mike A.

The vendor is great, and the truck was clean and ran well, but the right mirror was broken and would not hold its position. This is quite dangerous and could result in an accident when changing lanes due to poor visibility.WAYNE A.
A+ service. Absolutely the best. After trying to pick up the equip @ the location contracted, I was redirected to Superior Tire. These guys took the time to ensure that my trailer adapter was functional, and went the extra mile for me. Unfortunately, the communication from UHaul was abysmal. No attempt was made to contact me regarding the change of pickup locations, even though 2 contact phone #s were furnished. An email was sent to me regarding the change, but as I was in transit, the email was not opened until my return home. Why do you ask for telephone contacts if they are disregarded?Allen L.
