I was not shown which I-haul was mine and instead had to walk around the lot to figure it out- no one ever came outside to assist me. I was also not given the truck I rented/reserved and was not told of the change when I paid the employee. I've used U-Haul 6 months ago and the service was stellar at another location. I will not be recommending the Swanson location to anyone.Arlesha C.

Waited 40 minutes for service while guy worked on car , was rude, unprofessional and a real jerk. Would NEVER NEVER recommend this place . Explicitly told me there were no extra charges for gas or mileage when if fact there were.Already charged to the card ! Didnt return phone calls as well then told me I never called though I had the phone calls on my phone to show him So a liar as we.lKen H.

If you get a truck DO NOT use U-Haul on line. Call directly to the location you want to get it from. Swansons was awesome. They were able to fix the fiasco from the online process. Ordered on line for one location. The day before I get a call and my location was moved. That night I look at email which said my rental is 2-13 though 2-15 which is correct. It then tells you to go to app. App said my rental was 2-14. I called customer service. They said it was changed for some reason. Then told me the location it was changed to didn't have the size truck I needed so they changed it to a different location. That also made the price go up about $80 from original quote. I wasn't at home so when I got home I looked up original information and called back. This person named my dates correctly but then said price was $150 more. After much discussion she made the corrections and I paid. The next morning we go to pick up truck. It is a location where no one is there so you use the app to get your truck. We went through whole process and then get message we need to call. When we do they say this is not a location where you have to get truck during their hours which would mean we'd have to wait an hour. They found us another truck 8 miles away. We drive to that location, the truck and supplies we needed are ready. We do the online process to get the truck and get a message we owe $150. The only bright spot is that the gentleman at Swansons saw what a mess we had been through and that the only way to correct it was to cancel my order and redo it where they could make manual changes to get it back to the original price. Was charged more than reservation agreement, was asked to wait 30 minutes beyond pickup time when already pressed for time, and staff (as well as other customers) were not wearing masks... staff member went on to speak that COVID was a conspiracy created by Bill Gates and that wearing masks were bad for your health. Improvement would be possible if staff followed CDC safety guidelines to reduce risk of transmission of the pandemic, charge customers what was agreed upon, and stick with reservation times reserved. The truck handled poorly as compared to other trucks I have rented in the past.ELYSSA R.

I got charged for a truck that was not clean and I reported it once I received it. However, going through the self return process, I stated the truck needs to be clean. For that reason I got charge. I would like to have that charge to be reverse. Thanks, Mo C.Moses C.

The gentleman told me the trailer was out back on the street and that I could go hook it up while he processed my drivers license and credit card. I was surprised that he didn't offer to go out and assist or watch to make sure I hooked it up correctly. Secondly, we had already provided our credit card info at the time of the reservation and I uploaded a picture of my drivers license that morning to the U-Haul site, so I was a bit shocked when he kept my drivers license and credit card while I went out to hook up the trailer. Normally, I never leave my credit card in the hands of a stranger without positive control over how it is used.John M.

I went to the regular uhaul site they claim they didn't Have any trucks available so they sent me to this spot and didn't add any miles even though I had to travel further to pick up the truck. thank God the gentleman at the spot added on some miles but it was just a little inconvenience for me to travel out my way for a truckshantel W.
