In person places were okay. Uhaul website is absolutely awful. Does not let me edit the reservation, and screwed up my drop off location so i had to call in and go through a whole process to return the truck.Andrew D.
Thank you for the receipt. I want to report to you that dropping off at your facility after hours was a horrible customer experience after a long day of moving. Please improve your process for others. If there was not a nice fella who helped us, I wouldn't know where to leave the truck. 1. Make sure the name of your company is in the Uhaul system. I almost left the truck at a storage facility to buildings down the street. Look at the paperwork I left for you with no company name listed. 2. Make sure you tell folks either they can't drop off after hours or them with a gate code. Neither if these were communicated to us. Very disappointed in this service.Robert U.
We found this location difficult to find. They had a very small sign on the lawn with a uhaul sign. I tried calling the business before and after with no luck. Never saw the store except from behind a gated, locked entrance. Our overall experience was not pleasant from scheduling, pickup and return. We would look elsewhere in the future.Thomas O.

There is a gate blocking the parking lot where Uhaul rentals are stored. This gate has a Uhaul Dropbox and a list of intrusions except that the instructions have been washed away. It is unclear that you should leave your van outside of this gate because it looks like it would block other businesses from getting in. Don't mind a drop box but clear instructions would be nice since I wasn't happy to leave something I could be held liable for in a driveway blocking an entrance.Emma G.

Unable to pick up truck at designated time due to being in a locked compound and GPS saying I was not at location/ ( they keypad is a distance away from the office so it wouldn't register being within the specific distance is my guess.) I could not find a drop box for this location and I wasn't able to reach anyone at the location after multiple phone calls during their service hours. I ended up locking the truck with the keys after 30min of waiting that morning. Otherwise the location was simple to find and had no other issues.PAUL R.

Getting the truck was too difficult, customer service took forever to answer. Was accused of falsifying milage and was charged over $9000 and had to argue with customer service to reduce the charge that i wasnt even supposed to get. 3/10 experience.Katherine B.

Your online system is poor. It should not have taken me 45 mins to pickup the van!!! Never did your system say the location is closed. I had to download the phone app which the customer service person was not responding to my questions in the chat. Then the system made me start over. When I could not add mileage and gas level on my phone I called the 800 # And was told they could not help me. Very very poor system. I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone.Michael H.
Nothing to do with the location. I had a lot of trouble with the app. The app kept â€œreconnectingâ€ - taking several minutes. On return I couldn't connect at all and had to call the return in. The U-Haul agent I spoke to was very helpful and friendly.John L.

First of all, I would like to thank the "T Bone Professional Detail" for holding the truck and waiting for my pick in spite of their closing time on 26th October. However, I was totally unhappy with the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Norristown for their attitude. I booked my u-haul truck at Norristown location but I was told to run to Skippack location to pick-up my truck (which was 11miles away). While I'm on the way to skippack to pick the truck , I got the call from customer care @ 11.55am and told that pick-up location will be closed @ 12:00Pm . If I don't pick-up by 12 pm my order will be canceled. I was requesting desperately that I'm moving all the moving guys has come to lift & shift and canceling will screw my moving. However, she was adamant and not moved an inch with my humble request. I called T-Bone professional detail and requested them to wait for 5mins more which they agreed without any fuss. Big thanks to T-Bone professional Detail but Big down to U-haul norristown moving and storage. Overall , very bad experience with U-haul and due to pick location change I endup paying additional $30.Ashiq Shamsudeen A.

This location was great. The problem is that we originally scheduled to pick up a truck in Pottstown, where we were moving from. When I went to pick up the truck in Pottstown, we were told our truck pickup was in Skippack (a 30 minute back track). I had not received any text messages telling me the pickup location had changed. You need to have a better way to communicate with customers. If you do change a pickup location it should be as close as possible to the location selected by the customer.Joseph S.

We were sent to this location against our wishes by u-haul. They altered our contract even know we had already pre registered online and made a mistake in the contract that you haul would not correct My main complaint is with U haul in general but it all started at the pick upROBERT G.

Correct quoting and pricing when renting a 26 ft truck. Had issues when the bill came out and have to consider other alternatives. Didn't get a response from the supervisor Daniel Micucci after he provided a credit for the "one way" quoting compared to round trip which I was clear on returning the truck back to the same location. I would rate the experience Excellent as the lady at the location in Skippack PA we rented from was very accommodating when I needed to get measurements and even pick up the truck early. There was no sign to indicate where the business was at! Even I called from 9 (pick up time) until 9:30 the was no answer. The truck wasn't picked up until about 10am which created issues for me and the person I was meeting! Will think long and hard before renting a truck from u- haul again!!Jerome O.

The UHaul sign on Lucon Rd was helpful, and I could see other UHaul trucks parked, so I could figure out generally where to go. Once inside, I had to guess where to find someone, but went to the correct door. The lady was very pleasant and helpful and I would return there to pick up or drop off again. A huge plus was their Sunday drop off hours, as I will NEVER again go through the rigamarole of dropping off using my cell phone app. That is a nightmare. TBone Detailing is very nice.Ellen S.

I don't expect to recommend U-Haul to anyone after the bogus gas charges you tried to add. Tank was over a quarter and I got billed $39.00 because supposedly it was at 3/16th of a tank. Good thing my son-in-law took a picure of the mileage and gas gauges. That's just rotten business. Not sure if it was an issue with the return or pick-up location or both. After I was told everything was adjusted, Then received an email that I have a balance owed. Of course that's not correct. The return was not a pleasant experience which will be mentioned on my social media.DEBRA K.

We reserved a UHaul trailer 2 weeks ahead of time on the UHaul website to move our 95 year old grandparents at either the Gilbertsville and/or Bechtelsville, PA location. 2 days prior to the rental contract period we received a notice that the trailer was not available. We proceeded to call every UHaul dealership within a 100 mile radius at the last minute to secure a trailer. T Bone did help us secure a truck at the last minute. Your computer system does not work well. We would not recommend UHaul.Kevin B.

2 issues with this rental. 1. On the day of the rental, my location was moved, but that was no big deal. The issue was that the truck now needed to be picked up before 2:30 instead of the originally requested 4:30. I know rentals are based on availability, but that time change cost me more than the rental in daily pay. Kudos to the end rental location, as they dropped my rate per mile to make up for the location change. This one is on the website scheduling, and not the local provider. 2. I did not receive a receipt on the day of my rental. The local shop did respond quickly the next day when I called them.Martin G.

This survey does not ask the right questions. I had a horrible experience overall. After being told I could drop off at any location, I tried just that. 1) tried to drop off at the S Henderson Rd location in King of Prussia PA per your website but the locations no longer exists. It is a garbage plant. So I had to go to the next closest location in Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia. After arriving and attempting to drop off the keys the rep said he would not accept my keys because I was not coded to his location. This does not make any sense to the â€œpick up and drop off anywhereâ€ model if I can't drop off anywhere. I'm not sure what the rep at the Skippack location did but apparently after she told me I can drop off anywhere I was not able to. I had to drive extra miles to drop off back in Skippack as I felt that my hands were tied and I could not drop off anywhere except where I picked up from. Horrible customer service.Michael H.

I ordered the truck for pickup at a specific location and once there was told I had to go to another location to get it. The only call I received was at 12:09 the day of pickup asking if I was getting the truck. This is very unsatisfactory customer service and is neither the fault of the locations I was at but is totally the fault of U-Haul. Will not rent from U-Haul again and am reporting it to BBBKathleen P.

Since this was the first time I rented a uhaul in a long time, it would have been nice if I could have spoken to someone about the rental. I never received a call confirming the reservation the day before. I called the location numerous times ... no one picked up or returned my messages. I called the 800 number and had to wait 35 minutes before I could talk to someone. The self check in technology with the uhaul app was great, and the truck was clean. However, the ac was not working that great, and it was a really hot day, so that kind of stunk. Hopefully uhaul will honor their $50 refund pledge since no one called me the day before or confirm reservation.Paul D.
