Dirty truck, no phone charger. Truck drove terrible. I asked for them to provide the block for the truck charger and they said they don't do that and to call corporate. Agway in Riverhead Ny I also took out insurance, and then they told me after the fact that the top of the truck is not covered.GINA K.

The uhaul truck broke down, in the middle of our moving experience. And we had to find a local mechanic to help fix it. We reported this to uhaul; and would like to know how our bill will be adjusted to compensate this issue ??CHRISTOPHERANTHO G.
The girl at the front counter was very rude and gave me an attitude when I tried asking a simple question of whether or not I could return after hours. She said, â€œjust like every other uhaul, we are no differentâ€. I then asked if it had to be dropped off in a certain area like other uhaul locations have and her response was in a very slow and firm voice was, â€œanywhere you heart desiresâ€. There were other customers in the store and I was completely embarrassed and made to look like an idiot to other people by this employee. I also was originally booked with the Medford location, and when I arrived to pick up my trailer the Medford associate told me that uhaul changed my location to this Riverhead location and that a text was sent to my phone number on file, but no text or call was ever made to inform me of the change. I will use uhaul again, as I use them on a regular basis, but I will never use this location ever again. This Riverhead location was not even a real uhaul. It was a country store with uhaul trucks and trailers for rent outside.HEATHERLYNN D.

My experience on November 20, 2020 at the U-haul location 1122 Osborne Ave in Riverhead (Talmage Farm Agway) was excellent. However, my original reservation (reservation # 20547102) was made on November 12, 2020 for a 20' U-haul to be picked up on November 20, 2020 at location Fanning & Brush located at 4259 Sound Avenue in Riverhead at 7:00am. When I arrived at that location at the time I was supposed to, there were no U-haul trucks available and no one available at the location to assist me. I did call the u-haul customer service phone number were I was placed on hold for over 35 minutes before I hung up. The original woman that I spoke to was apologetic and told me she was transferring me to a regional manager. Three other people did pick up while I was on hold but placed me back on hold with no assistance. At this point I was frustrated because I had hired two guys to help me move, took the day off from work and I had no means of moving out of my house. All I had asked of the original woman at customer service was to direct me to the nearest location that had a u-haul truck available and she couldn't help. I had to take it upon myself to wait until the local shops had opened and call around to see if there were any trucks available. I was lucky enough to find Talmage Farm Agway but was delayed a few hours. Unfortunately Talmage only had a 15' truck available instead on the 20' truck that I was promised. Ultimately it worked out but I did have to make additional trips costing more mileage and additional labor to move, plus I had to figure out u-haul's failure on my own without customer service. I wished they would have informed me that my original reservation could not have been honored and helped me with a secondary option. Everything is done though a smart phone and email so a simple call/text/email would have informed me and I would have been happy to arrange a ride and go to a separate location. Ultimately I had a good experience using the truck but absolutely an awful experience dealing with the u-haul company.KEVINSHAWN T.

Agway was amazing, no complaints with them at all....but the fact I had to pick my uhaul up over an hour away from my preferred location was nuts. A little heads up since this was a known issue from talking to the reps would have been appreciated....The scheduler Calvin was a complete jerk to me on the phone. Someone should teach him its not what you say its how you say it. And your online chat...sat on it for an hour and no one even responded....called into the 800# and everyone kept saying someone else will need to help you with that. What a disgrace, but I had no other options....great business model...I will try to avoid uhaul as much as I can in the future.Thomas R.

This is probably the last time I'll consider using U-Haul services. I had made a reservation to pick up a U-Haul close to my apartment to move into my new house. U-Haul contacted me a few days later saying that they had no U-Hauls available at this location anymore, which specifically said online that they did, and I would have to drive 40 miles to another location to pick up the truck to drive 40 miles back to pack up the truck, and then about 60 miles to my new house. As if that wasn't even the worst part, driving all over gods country, U-Haul charges me for all the extra mileage that they gave me no option other than to drive. Not impressed by the customer service, if you made the reservation mistake you could at least match the original price.Lisa B.

Yes, I did check fluids before the long trip to Boca RatÃ³n Florida, I did found a low level in the engine or motor oil, so I did add 2 bottle of 1/4. you may need to check fluids more often. That have a good dayWILMAR R.

truck was dirty-I picked up after hours, and the lighting was terrible, so I could not even see the outside condition of the truck. The trunk door was very difficult to shut, and the center light inside the cab did not work.James A.

Uhaul lists the cost of blankets as $10/dozen on the site, but are actually $10/six. Uhaul site is not very clear about what constitutes a rental period. It asks for an "estimated rental period" and does not clearly disclose that 2 periods will be charged (even in same day) if that time is exceeded. Was only clarified afterwords when asking a rep from the rental site.MICHAEL P.

This was the second time I rented a trailer from this location. the process was easy. Everyone was friendly.Nancy F.
The trailer tires were worn pass the wear bands. I was nervous carrying a car in this trailer. This would have been dangerous if it had rained. Also, if DOT had pulled me over, I'm sure a summons would have been given for those tires. Also, it would have been nice if an employee had helped me disconnect the trailer when I returned it. I told an employee I was there to return the trailer and he disappeared.Louis S.

Took forever to get the truck. Had to download something on to my phone and than take pictures from of my license that didn't go as planned. That's a took way to much time. I was quoted a price of a little under $300. When I got the bill it was over $530 which I'm NOT paying for. Truck was very dirty. All windows inside and outside haven't been cleaned for a long time and there was a sticky substance on the steering wheel and drivers seat that I had to clean when I got home. Although we pre-registered & paid online, the computer would not assign a truck to my husband. As a result, he was held up until they could rectify the problem, which entailed a refund & a new reservation put in place at some u-haul headquarters. It was a frustrating start, but all went well with the rental. The truck was great, had all the equipment we asked for...and the move was smooth. We have used u-haul at this location previously with no hiccups and will use them again.Walter L.

Amazing customer service! The only problem I had was when I returned the van at night I wasn't able to fill out the link on my phone because it wasn't funding my location.
