I reserved my truck online for a one way trip. When I got to TC Cab to pick up my truck, Curt informed me that if I wasn't willing to bring it back to his location when I was finished he wasn't going to rent the truck to me. I had to call the corporate UHaul number and get them involved in order to get the truck. The person who helped me on the phone was excellent and got the field manager involved who contacted Curt and told him to complete the rental. When I was finally able to complete the rental Curt tried to give several different excuses as to why he hadn't wanted to rent the truck one way, including that he had to pay for the gas to get it to his location and that it wasn't in the system as a one way rental. DO NOT rent a truck from this location unless you want to deal with a dishonest, rude person.Suzanne F.

I specifically marked that I did not need moving pads ($10) when I made the reservation. At check out they had been addd back in so I removed them again. Then when I went to pick up the truck they were back on my invoice with no way to remove. I thought â€œOk fineâ€ maybe I'll use themâ€ but when I opened up the back of the truck - no pads. I felt like it was almost a standard charge but the to not even have access to any...Erika R.

The location was under construction, however I got what I wanted, a rental truck, even though I had to travel for another hour to get that truck because for some reason I got a phone call saying the truck was was not available where I originally reserved it, which is unfair for customer who may not need to travel that far especially in fog, ice and snow.Marc Athur T.

Wearing a mask gives me the confidence that you care about others and I'm more likely to think that the truck has been properly sanitized after the last rental. No employees wore a mask. Also, I was told where the truck was on the lot and it wasn't there - not a big deal, as it's a small lot, but when I went in to ask, he never moved. When I couldn't find it the 2nd time, he still never left his chair. Very poor customer service.Chad J.

One of the car transport trailer tires went flat less than 2 blocks from the pickup site. The Uhaul representative "Carl" was surly and refused to do anything about the flat. He Stated "What do I look like a F@#$%&g mechanic?", call the number on the truck,and he got in his car and left us there in the parking lot. He also changed the contract from 7 days to 5 days and lowered the milage we could have The man was rude to me and called me a bitch to my face when I asked him to change it back..frank M.

Now charging me for gas when I returned with way more than I rented it with. This is absurd. I'm filling complaint with BBB! Area manager even called said he would take care of it and also send me a VIP coupon for additional rental we were going to get. Never happened full of lies. Truck was nasty dirty we brought it backed cleaned and with more gas.Brett C.

"Office" area smelled of cigarette smoke. The truck smelled like body odor. They were suppose to open on Sunday for me to return but nobody was there and I was unable to follow the after hours return instructions, which means I will be charged a service fee. Horrible experience. Will not use this location again or recommend to a friend.Lori W.
I had a pickup scheduled for 8 a.m. No one was at the location. After calling TC Cab someone got in touch with the employee that was supposed to be at work. I was over an hour late getting the U Haul. I will never use U Haul again and I will never recommend U Haul, in fact, I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know not to use U Haul.Edward W.

The first time I went to the location it was closed. First truck rented was great with no issues. The second truck rented the next day was horrible. I should not even be on the road. Steering was loose, engine light was on, make loud clunking noise over 65 mph.Justin C.

Staff person in place at pickup was friendly and helpful but the location was a mess. Inside of trailer was dirty. When I dropped the trailer off a day early it was during posted office hours. The sign said open but the door was locked and no one was on premises.David B.

Air conditioner in the vehicle did not work at all - was a late hours pick up (because the original location had screwed up my reservation ...) so by the time I departed and realized the issue, it was too late to do anything about it. Had to drive 1500 miles with no A/C in August. Additionally, had to ask to have materials loaded onto truck (dolly, furniture pads) as they were not ready when I arrived.Kyle K.
