When I arrived to pick up the truck and trailer from this location there was no one there that knew what to do or how to check me in so I had to wait until someone was coming that knew how to do it. To make a long story short I get there at 3:20 pm I finally get the truck at 5:30.David A.

The original pick up in Washington,NC did not have the truck available. So they sent me an hour away to Aurora for the truck. Terrible service and delayed our trip plus charged me for the extra mileage on something that was your fault. Very poor customer service.ELIJAH R.

I will never rent a U-Haul vehicle as long as I live again. Terry's Uhaul over charged me more than $800.00 and still charging me for this truck that was only used for 6 hours. On 01/10/2021 the bill emailed to me was supposed to be $289.20. Looking at my account today still being charged 6 different times for one rental. Truck was great, customer service bad, I believe I am being taken for a ride.Jason H.

The original place I made reservations for did not have a 20 foot truck. The closest location to pick up a 20 foot truck was 30 miles away. So I had to drive 60 miles round trip just to get the truck to load it. I had called 6 times to verify my rental but was never able to talk to the person in charge of rentals because he was never there. When I got to the location I was told they didn't know I had a reservation. The person in charge of rentals was not on site to do the rental. The young lady at the counter had to do our rental over the phone with him which took a long time since she had never done it before. We did not receive any paperwork for the transaction at the location. They did not have blankets available that I had reserved, so I had to go to another location to get blankets. The truck was dirty on the inside, including cigarette ashes in the ash tray. We had signed up for 24/7 pickup and they had no idea what that was so we were unable to use that service. I will not use or recommend this location to anyone. I will tell them to definitely NOT use this location. This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul.Kimberly F.

Was one of the worst experiences I have experienced, I called in advance to make sure someone was going to be there and the guy said he would be there between 4 and 5 I arrived at 415 he was not there . Noone there spoke English when I got there and so the worker got the guy on the phone I sat on the phone with the guy for a hour and a half listening to him help his son do homework he kept telling me he was trying to wake someone up to get the password for something. Finally 2 hours later someone showed up to take care of me and he couldn't figure out what he was doing I finally called uhaul and they finally got everything situated. The U-Haul representative at this location (which was also a convenience store) left me for over 10 minutes while he got distracted by other people in his store. Once he got back to me, he was very unfamiliar with the equipment and how to hook up the trailer. I have used U-haul on multiple locations over the years, and have never had as bad an experience as I had at the Aurora, NC location. The next time I have need to rent a trailer, I certainly will not go through the Aurora, NC location.JOHN H.

The associate was more interested in running his store than helping me. Took an hour to do the paperwork. The trailer had a shipping box left inside and one of the tail lights didn't work. One good point was that the store was close to where I live.Randy C.

The people at Terry's were nice they tried to help when our reservation was messed up again this happens every time we rent from Uhaul also we get promised a discount on the next rental and don't get it we waited for over an hour trying to call Uhaul and figure out what they did wrongjessica A.
I had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with "customer service" and my original pick up the citgo on rhem avenue in new Bern. I was there for over an hour with the rudest attendedant and had to leave with no truck. The ONLY reason I came down was because when I made the reservation online it was confirmed and received a confirmation email. Customer service continually tried to excuse my horrible experience on the fact that It was the Sunday after thanksgiving. If there was no truck available when I made the reservation, no biggie, I would have stayed home. She also kept saying if I could do it Monday I could get the truck I wanted. I told her no my works schedule would not allow. She continued to bring this up as if It were my responsibility to be more flexible with my JOB in order to fix their mistake . This ladies name was LORI. I'm not sure about the man at citgo on rhem but all I can say is incompetent, rude and should not be a uhaul dealer period. Aurora was a breath of relief after a 3 hour nightmare.Jerri M.

Terry's mart was very unorganized and seemed inexperienced with the rental process. There was also a problem with their phone lines and internet turning the pickup into a 90 min wait. Because of the internet problems I was also sent away with no paperwork in hand. I was happy to just get out of there with a truck and trailer to be honest. The young man helping us was apologetic and friendly. Overall the truck was maintained but very dirty.DUSTIN L.
