The process was quick and the person helping me was very pleasant but the truck was very dirty in the cab and in the back. There was a little bit of trash inside the back and it looked as if the previous renter had used the truck to move mulch. It was obvious no one had inspected it prior to renting it to me. I was in a rush so I just bought a broom to sweep it out then proceeded to use it for my move. When I've rented from U-Haul in the past someone usually walks out to the truck with me and opens the back before handing me the keys. That didn't happen at this location.Lynette G.

The location that I picked up the U-Haul had no moving equipment I.e moving dollies or furniture dollies. Luckily since I had none of their possession I was given back the money that I pay for it and was not charged. It would have been nice to know if they had the equipment on hand it could have saved me a lot of time and moving.Antonio F.

Very tight parking spot. Trying to back out a uhaul truck at 10:00am that's parked behind a Dunking Donuts was extremely challenging, it took 25 minutes to wait for someone in the Donut drive thru line to allow me to back out of the parking space. Then I had to merge into the Dunking Donut drive thru line to get out of the parking lot. I spent over 35 minutes just trying to get the truck out of the parking lot. But the location on Bulverde Rd was convenient to my home address.Donna T.

Do not use the app. While pick up was tedious, the app was bearable at that point. When it came to drop off, the app and customer service were awful. The app was malfunctioning during drop off, not allowing photo uploads (essentially step one for the drop off process). Since the physical location closed at 2, the advertised 24/7 support was the only option. I was on hold for the 1-800 number for 15 minutes and decided to use the Live chat function. Live chat referred me to another number, where I was on hold for 30 minutes before speaking to an agent, who was not sympathetic to the situation. At one point I was placed on hold where either the call dropped, or the agent decided to hang up. I did not receive a call back or any follow up to see if my situation had been resolved. Instead, I got this email asking to fill out a survey. Tldr; don't advertise an app as a simple and convenient tool when it clearly needs work. And if you do need support from U-Haul, good luck. You probably will not get it.Eva R.

I had ordered a dolly but when I picked up the truck there was no dolly, so I had to spend time waiting in the phone to let someone know that I did not leave the location with a dolly. Also, there was no drop box for they keys even though the directions said leave them in the drop box. I left them in the cargo area of the truck since that is where I originally got them. I was worried so I tried to call the uhaul # to verify but after 20 minutes I hung up because no one answered. I feel like all of this wasted time. Other than that, the truck was great. It was very clean and ran well, and the pick up location and process was very easy.Sheryl B.

Used the app for p/u. 3 trucks parked within 5 inches of each other and completely parked with front ends into a row of high bushes-my truck was the one in the middle. I had to call my nephew to come climb over the cab of one of the trucks just to get into the middle truck to back it up....I took pictures ridiculous... also needed to document body damage before being told where keys were??? I couldn't see the body of the truck... on return it says to put keys in drop box... no drop box available and they were closed an employee who was exiting the back door told me to leave them under the seat so I did. The note on the building said to keep keys until next business day well they were closed the next day and I would not be in town the following so under the seat they went... horrible experienceAmy G.

I had spoken with custom service and was told the truck I chose would have a ramp...it did not. I also paid for the $10 dolly and it wasn't in my truck. My fault for not initially checking, but I assumed positive intent. When I returned the uhaul, I brought it up the person working and said I didn't fill the tank and only used a little bit, so she was going to just waive the gas fee and use the $10 dolly charge to go towards it. Uhaul chose this drop site. Not a 24 hour drop site. They were closed before my truck was due back. So I couldn't talk to anyone. Also tried calling Uhaul 800 number 3 tumes and put on 10min plus hold time and never spoke to anyone!!!! So now charged an extra day at $56 because Uhaul could not provide another solution due to "high call volume" the website wouldn't allow me to drop off via online for unknown errors via webpage. Couldn't do much until this morning. Lady was friendly but also seemed unable to answer much of my concern.Erin T.

Took almost an HOUR to get my truck I before-hand rented online. The entire process was a hassle. I returned the truck well before the 6:30pm deadline. It was 2:09, but the office closed at 2:00. I called the main SA number, was told to use the app to check the vehicle back in. The last step was to put the keys in a drop box. This location has NO dropbox. So i was told to put the keys under the front driver seat and leave the passenger side door open. I hope no one vandalizes the vehicle before Monday. I would strongly recommend you NOT rent from this location . Rent from a real (complete Uhaul) location.Barry M.

Poor customer service. Transmission on the truck was slipping. Couldn't get into reverse, was stranded for 3 hrs. 3 miles from the store and the gas light came on.
