Area has a code so I had to park the u-haul out front in the lot diagonally, app also didn't let me upload the pictures of the u-haul at allCHRISTOPHER K.
I book a guaranteed trailer in Boulder co. The day before my booking. A u-haul employee reaches out and says â€œmy trailer isn't in boulder. The closest location is in Estes park 1 hour away. We can change the pickup location for you.â€ I had no choice but to say yea. Then they called back two hours after and said that location won't have a trailer either, but there's one in Thornton CO, (45 min away) that I could pick up tomorrow. It was a cluster to pickup. Then I changed my drop off location by calling in to u-haul and getting it changed to throne by my house in IL. They put the location change through. However, when I went to drop off the trailer at that location, an employee walked outside and says we don't accept trailers here. So I called u-haul again and they said that the employee was correct and it was in their system already saying drop offs are not accepted. Thanks to this garbage service I had to try a couple more drop off locations to get rid of the trailer. I will never use this service again.JARED K.

Make a better reservation system so that I don't have to have my reservation changed two days before I need to move, adding more stress to the move. I set up a good location and plan only to have it all changed without any input and I had to call and get things changed again. Additionally for self check out, I was asked to provide multiple phone numbers of multiple people who weren't even helping me move. And no, I did not have a copy of any of the other documents at the pick-up site so that needs to be smoothed out so that a single person or two people can rent a uhaul without wasting another 30 mins trying to confirm you're a real person with friends to a customer service agent.Jake C.

The app would not let me â€œpick upâ€ my vehicle, even though it was available to me. I had to wait more than 30 minutes for the actual store to open. By the time I was in the truck, I had lost 45 minutes of my day. The truck I rented was old. It had over 145,000 miles on it. I could smell gas in the cab several times. The driver's side door was very difficult to close. The engine also made a ticking noise. It seems to me the truck should have been retired.MANUEL G.

Disappointed with U-Haul.. I reserved a truck closer to my move on the day before reservation was moved.. added more mileage to my move. Cost more money. Also the check in took longer than 10min. It was over 30 min and I had no issues except the 2 contacts they required. And I didn't know anything about that process.Robert S.

The rented trailer door got stuck. Had to pry it loose with WD-40. Also had to spray the latch that stuck due to rust. I was told that I would be emailed the access code since they closed before the trailer was due back. It was not emailed to me. Fortunately, some else was returning a trailer and let me in. There was no space to park the trailer after that customer helped detach it. I would not have been able to do that by myself. Disappointing.MILAGROS R.

Truck broke down and wouldn't shift out of park. We only got to take one load and lost our whole day because it took hours to get the issue resolved. The technician said he â€œmade it work for nowâ€ but didn't get the correct replacement part. That being said, we felt uneasy even stopping again for gas, so we did not put gas in the truck and drove straight back to Uhaul in case it did it again.ALEXANDER W.

turn off the governor on the engine, 9 mile to the gallon really, your computer driving recommendations are not practical for driving cross country. sound proof the cab, there was a high pitch whistle with in direct air flow over the vehicle, maybe put in a cruise control, and adjustable seats that go up and down, fill in the gap between the body and the cab.Frank M.

I needed a uhaul for a Saturday to travel from Thornton to fort Collins 45 miles and told the person I talked to I wanted to drop it off I'm Fort Collins but when I picked up the uhaul I was told I had to bring back the uhaul at the location I picked it up from. Was a total inconvenience on this moving day. The young lady helping us was rude not helpful just got a blank stare. Definitely will find a different moving truck company if ever needed again.JUSTIN V.

When I directly asked an employee if her could help us he said because we signed up online he wouldn't help us and walked away. When I spoke to the owner he was also dismissive.
