I rented a Van, ordered two packets of moving blankets and as I was almost leaving, I reminded him I ordered the blankets. He went and gave me one packet. The blankets were filthy. I told him I was moving art. The dust, dirt and filth that flew from them was harmful, to my health and my TA - a US Vet was helping me. I needed the van for 4 hours. He said he was closing before then and to park the van in front of his office, that I had until 2:00PM the next day to return. I asked if he had a drop box for the key, he said he did not. I returned the Van and parked it where he told me to. My class started the next day at 9:30 so on break at 10:30 I was going to return the key. AT 9:45 he started blowing up my cell phone. I had 24 students in the class. After the third rant of not hearing me, I hung up. Told my TA to watch the class and I'd be right back. He is now charging me for cleaning up the van! (NO MESS) and gas -It was on FULL - I have time stamped pictures.Deborah B.

They over charged me for my rental when the estimate on mileage was 30 miles and I only drove 17 miles in total. The cost for 30 miles with the down payment on vehicle was 65$ and some change but I ended up paying 80$ when everything was returned how I received it as far as gas and condition as vehicle and I only used the vehicle for 1 hour and a half instead of the 4 hours. This is uncalled for. It was 67 cents per mile so tell me how 80$ makes sense. I need my refund for the overcharge.grant V.

Got a call informing me that they close and could not be open for our drop off time. Was told to call customer service. After CS changed to all day rental we went back and was told their rental was not for that location. That was not accurate. We were also told noone called me that morning and that they "don't do that" I explained that he was lying because I have their number as a incoming call as proof. I had to call CS again.. there were trucks available. Noone at titos offered to give us one just told us we did not have a reservation. Bad customer service and no help at all. Had I not had to have the rental right then I would have told them to kiss my hiney and found someone else.. I will think twice before using Uhaul in the future.. I would rather pay more for better service. Also was given the number for Richard the area manager and have called twice so far and no call back.Ray J.

1 - Unit cab was uncleaned and filthy upon delivery - gum and trash in cab and center console -- and was not ready for delivery at reserved time -- (Late by 2+ hours due to U-HAUL action / non-action and process stalling) 2 - Unit had just been turned in from 2000+ mile trip - no check of oil or fluids was accomplished - when asked, site rep stated that was not their job and they didn't get paid to do that. 3 - Unit provides WAS NOT the unit reserved (i.e. NO Cruse control - poorly functioning A/C) 4 - NIETHER site nor local U-HAUL franchise site was willing to take responsibility to address issues. We had to wait about 45 minutes to get truck due to uhaul system problems. We tried returning through digital system and couldn't do it due to website malfunction. Tried calling 1-800 number and was disconnected after being put on hold for 15-20 minutes. Uhaul then charged me for an extra day because their web system messed up. Still haven't resolved or been able to talk to a person about refund process. Very frustrated.Perry L.
I have never been charged a cleaning fee, it's obvious that who ever runs this location is trying to make money however they can. It's the last time I will rent from them again. I will dispute this with my bank. I have rented serval trucks, vans, trailers from U-Haul and never had a cleaning fee.BRUNO S.

Uhaul tried to switch my drop-off location saying they talked to me in the email that was sent. I called back & requested I stay with my initial drop-off location because I had already scheduled an uber. We inconvenience me again & make it so comfortable for the next customer. I felt like I was treated so unfair. As they ok'd the extra 50 miles from Livermore to San jose, they didn't comp the gas & time I had to use & the people I already paid to help me for 4hrs but only could stay for 15 mins because of all of the time wasted. I was completely unhappy with what went on. But the 2 customer service reps I dealt with in person were very professional & helped me with no problems.Delia V.

Complications to where I left the van. They called to tell me that I would have to pay the towing fee. I informed them that I was not told where to park the vehicle after they closed, and therefore I am not responsible for the tow fee.SANDRA G.
The gentleman is very nice himself. However I made a reservation in advance so I had everything on the checklist I purchased but when I got the truck nothing was there. Specially the furniture dolly that I needed the most besides the pads. Besides that I made the reservation for 8am then Few days later they changed it 10am. Then there was Soil compost and marijuana leaves everywhere in the box. Broken side rails to tie the furniture too. In the cab had spilled drinks and sunflower seeds everywhere. I don't know who this falls on but worse experience I have had when we had a emergency deadline to remove stuff out our grandfathers house.ROSS W.

All in all the location was decent and friendly just wasn't pleased with my overall experience through uhaul. I made a reservation at a different location then arrived and the trailer i reserved wasn't even there so got sent to tios to pickup what he had then to find out it wasn't available for a 2 day rental only a 3 day rental. So then called the main Manteca location to find a trailer and they were having a problem locating one so got tired of wasting the day and decided to just go back to tios and was forced to pay for a 3 days rental. Then the day my trailer was due back i was running 10min late so called to ask if I would be charged for a full extra day and was informed I would be. So long story short I ended up paying for 4 days of rental when only originally needed 2day rental. Very unsatisfied with my experience cause it ended up costing just as much or possibly even more then just getting a full size moving truck.TERRY M.

Horrible. My truck wasn't there at all and the employee had zero sympathy and didn't make any effort to fix their flaws. He lied that a dolly was in the truck, when I said it was not in the truck, he charged me for 2 dollys instead of 1 that never existed. Just complete lack of customer service.MICHAEL M.

Dropping off a trailer is difficult due to lack of space, however, help was there quickly to unhook and park the trailer for me. The office is clean and the woman who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. Just a tough spot to get in and out of due to traffic and all the cars on the lot.Sharlene P.

I had a schedule pickup for 12:15pm. I arrived at the location at 12:10pm and no one was there to help me. The office was closed but the sign said open. I waited and waited and wait. The gentleman finally arrived at about 12:48pm. I waited almost 40 minutes before getting help. This place shouldn't have appointment times if you aren't there to help the customer. Have 24 hour drop off of equipment, I wound up keeping custody of rented equipment for an additional 36 hours that I did not need it. Because there was no place to drop it off. Otherwise the rental was quick and easy.Edward C.
Hard to get into and out of. When renting equipment he couldn't find our reservation, then changed information from my husband's name to mine which made situation worse. I was on my husband's reservations as the person picking up equipment and he was told his credit card would be charged when I picked up. Not the case. It took over an hour to find a solution to problem even after we gave him our reservation number several times. Drop off was better but still had issues when getting information together. Overall I would not recommend this location to someone looking to rent equipmentLISA V.
Very tiny used car lot with primarily gravel rather than pavement. Unprofessional office. Very cramped location with all the used cars for sale. I had to help them move a trailer so I could get my rental off the lot.Thomas E.

main thing is fill the gas tank full before customer receive it, not a quarter tank, had to fuel up 3 times, once to make it their, it is not easy to replace the gas to quarter, I was close but the man told me put more in, what a hassle. do not use this location.Kerry C.
The trailer was not connected correctly. I am lucky I did not lose the trailer. When I got to Idaho my brother showed me that the tongue had not been tightened down on the hitch. That is why I was experiencing jerking and bouncing, especially when I was slowing down or stopping.Paula C.
