I returned the truck with half tank of gas. I have pictures to prove it. The lady charged me $55.00 fir fuel. She just made her a big tip in my opinion. I will not use this place again or recommend it.Lillian R.

Our reserved truck was not available, we were rerouted 3 times for different trucks. An hour and a half later we ended up with this one which was larger than the one we wanted. We did get a discount but that didn't make up for pushing us the hour and a half and the extra fuel. The truck was also filthy with pine shavings that appear to be animal bedding and hair all in the cab and bed.Todd C.

Representative was very professional and helpful. She assisted in hooking up the 5'x8' trailer to my truck, insuring that it was safely secured to the truck.Gerald C.
Employee there charged for insurance when I had declined coverage when I made the reservation online. When I returned the truck and went inside to settle up she said I'll email you a receipt instead of handling it right then. I suppose she did this so she could add that extra $14 without my consent.Chuck W.

I rented the tow dolly im a woman in my middle years no one offered to help lift it onto my hitch or unhitch it they acted like it was too much to even rent itjudith W.
Store does not keep hours that ate posted in door. Automated service is not user friendly I took 2 hours to complete transaction using automation. It took 3 times to get a representative to help contracted did not match. Had to go to two different location to get equipment to only get mileage and the store was 20 miles away instead of 8 miles that was quoted.VICKY B.

The tow dolly I received had two broken fenders. I had to stop and buy duck tape so that the fenders would not rub against the tire. When I pointed the broken fenders out to the Staff at the location, their response was it had previously been noted in the system. In addition the racket strap mechanisms were rusty and almost inoperative. I had to lubricate them in order for them to work. When I picked up the dolly the store was closed due to the Holiday. There were two moving trucks with car haulers attached blocking my two dolly. I had to drag the dolly across the grass, pushing a trailer out of the way in order to hook it up to tow vehicle.Craig S.

Office was ok, but employees were not very helpful. One person just read a number to the other, told me go around and drop off trailer. No one to help lift tongue off truck. Seemed annoyed when I told them blankets we used werent folded. When I dropped trailer it started to roll due to slop of lot. Found a piece or asphault to chuck wheel.Scott R.

I did not get the lock box combination until after almost two hours waiting on the phone to get the combination. I asked the people when I returned it to suggest you give me some remedy for the lost time. I had to pay helpers for almost two hours. I am sure it will be a miracle if I get anything to make up for the time and money your corporation cost me yesterday. Sadly, that is where our idea of customer service has gone.Joseph M.

The Younger girl is not very friendly in Troy. So not helpful when you have problems. We rented a car hauler and the tire was messed up. Got a mile down the road called them and she said I had to call Uhaul for help. Stayed on the phone 30 minutes. No answer. The girl told us we may sit by the road for 2 or 3 hours and would not give us our money back. Very unfriendly. Will not go back to that location ever.Mark J.

Add some extra miles to the exact place I am moving from and not the location I pick up the truck. Stupid I had to pay for 15 miles. I picked the truck up and traveled to my old house, loaded it then traveled to my new house, not detouring anywhere and I had to pay extra for milesâ€¦.not cool at all.DAVID R.

The customer service at the Troy location was fine. My issue was with the U-Haul system. I needed to use the trailer in Auburn Alabama, but the system could not guarantee the trailer I wanted to be available in any Auburn location (understandable: It was college move-in weekend). For this reason, I decided to reserve a trailer in Montgomery at a location I had previously rented from (again, they had done fine by me then.) The reservation was moved to the Troy location at the last minute. Specifically, I was scheduled for pick-up at 8:30 am. Two minutes before my scheduled pick-up, I was sent texts and an email sending me to the Troy location, 45 minutes away. It would have been nice to have gotten that notice before I was at the location I had reserved from originally (and had received emails confirming the location). It all worked out, and I understand the difficulties with the system. But, it sure would have been nice to get the notice in a more timely manner. Cheers.Brian P.
