They were acceptable, but not inviting. I would not use this location again. Compared to our pickup location in Oak Harbor, Washington, they were definitely disappointing. We attempted to phone them, but got immediately put on hold, then hung up on. We were able to successfully return the equipment.

It was rented in my wife's name. When we called two days before to change the size from 26 to 20 foot, the lady who answered would NOT talk to me even after my wife verified I could speak. My wife had to do all the talking. So we go to pick it up at 1600 North in Orem and try the app and web using my wife's information. Nothing. Pass codes come but no reservation. Call for help. Yes, picking it up 90 minutes later than booked but an online pick up should not matter. Get an agent. She can do nothing. Sends us to a manager. He says "oh your reservation is at the Columbia lane address" I can have you go there or we can change it to your husband. Can't change to husband's name since he would not be driving and not around to drop off as he flies on Monday. The manager says he can't stay on the line as we drive since it is more than 5 minutes away. Get over to Columbia lane location. Nothing. Wife calls for assistance. I am at the loading place prepping to load. She gets someone who then states "i have to call your husband to verify you, , are who you say you are." The wife has already shown ID and more. Let her have the truck. Nope. They call me. My phone is in our truck as we are in the middle of collapsing a 20x30 tent. I missed the call. I called back and told a 65 minute wait. In the mean time the Uhaul lady who called me listened to my voice mail and heard my name. Since she heard my name on my voicemail message she took it as okay to rent to my wife. I AM NOT ON THE RESERVATION. WHY DO I MATTER? The lady makes my wife do a new contract with EXTRA INSURANCE and not the coverage we booked with the original booking!!!! The tank was less than half full so it is HARD to NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to match the gas. You guys suck!!!! Worst experience ever and I have rented from uhaul for 30 years. The recommendations and ratings above are about the ONLINE EXPERIENCE NOT THE COLUMBIA LANE ADDRESS as it was a Sunday night. The online service and lack there of....the policies of having to check with the husband via a phone call rather than accepting a Drivers License and Passport was assinie!!

Terrible Customer Service. Got Charged more than what I was told I was going to be charged. They double charged me. Said I drove more miles than what was actually driven. I will never go thru you guys again. You took more money than what you should have and your customer support team is very unprofessional and called me uneducated

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with U-Haul U-Box. I confirmed the delivery date, time, and location at least five separate times, only for my U-Box to not show up as scheduled. I planned my entire move around their confirmed delivery, and their failure to deliver on time caused unnecessary stress, delays, and completely disrupted my moving plans. What’s most disappointing is that I did everything I was supposed to do by repeatedly confirming the details, yet the service still fell through. Moving is already stressful enough without having to worry about whether your belongings will actually arrive when promised. I expected much better communication and reliability from a company as established as U-Haul. I would not recommend the U-Box service to anyone who needs dependable delivery during a move.

The head manager who checked us out is very friendly. She is enthusiastic and kind. The gentleman with the mustache who checked us back in was grumpy and a bit rude.

Actually greet each customer. No one welcomed me. The entire customer reception area was full of boxes and other inventory, with the staff and a reception desk obscured in the back. That desk was occupied by the facility manager and a box of pastries but I could not even see that desk when I entered the building because of all the packaging inventory/boxes.

I arrived shortly before my scheduled pick up time, but waited in line for 20 minutes before being served. By the time I got hooked up and out of thI needed to be on the job, and it was still considered that I picked up the equipment at the scheduled time (especially for return) when it took more than half an hour to get out and on the road.

I've done a few things with this business lately. The first time I bought some bubble wrap and boxes and it was great, good prompt service. The next time I bought bubble wrap it was a 15-20 minute wait and a 2nd clerk came to help and took the guy behind us. That was pretty aggravating. But, we got the bubble wrap and left. A couple of days later I needed a truck and thought I would try the online rental app. There were a lot more questions, pictures, etc., that I wasn't expecting. I have rented a lot of cars in my life and thought it would be a similar experience, but not at all. It was much more prolonged and challenging. When picking up the truck and I needed to take pictures the app didn't work to take the pictures. When I returned the truck I didn't realize I'd have to again take pictures. Luckily the picture taking part worked well. So, the truck worked well and we made the move we wanted to, but I believe the app needs some work as there are some bugs in it.

The lady that checked us in was super cool and very personable. Checking in felt like taking to a homie. The dude that was there during drop off was cold and distant, he seemed annoyed by any question and a glance away from his phone was a rare occurrence. Felt like polar opposite experiences both times I was there today.

U-haul doesn't credit customers when they return a vehicle over fueled, and adds pressure for customers to refuel their own vehicles by charging an exorbitant service fee if vehicles are returned with too little fuel. It's a very pro-robbery policy.

The computer system was down and then the payment appeared wrong on my credit card - which the manager made no note of as I left. I had to go back in and question the receipt. A little more communication on that matter would have been nice.

The truck was returned only an hour late due to heavy traffic and accidents along the route back and was charged for an extra day. Horrible service.

Great, right up until the drop off. Then I ended up waiting 20 mins to give a key to a guy who could not have been more disinterested in interacting or helping anyone. I parked the van in front, walked in and was told to take it to the "return area" and wait. And I waited and waited and waited. He could have just said please park the van over there and then bring back the key but ... he didn't seem interested in doing the job or making good things happen.

When we first arrived to pick up the truck we reserved. We were told the person before us extended their time so there was no trucks available for us…. The news sucked but the lady was so helpful to find us other trucks near by and arrange a different pick up. As we waited someone came by and dropped off their truck. By a miracle that was the exact size we reserved initially. The 5 stars is for this location, everyone was so helpful and I would have still given 5 stars even if we had to go somewhere else just because she and everyone else was so helpful.

The facility is well kept and the staff is very nice. The main downside is the limited parking for storage drop off and pick up. A trailer was taking up all the spots and staff often had trucks parked in the way making everything very inconvenient

Highly recommend this store to everyone! I really love visiting this U-haul store on Columbia Ln. In Provo. They are all the most helpful, friendly and the most knowledgeable people at any U-haul I’ve been to. I’ld give them a 6 Star rating if I could.

The unit was infested with rodents. Some of our items were ruined from feces and rodent urine, which then began to grow fungus/mold.

This unit was near the back of the building and was a little damp and musty. Our other unit in the middle of the building doesn’t have this issue. The biggest problem by far is lack of parking at this location. The abundance of moving trucks and trailers make it difficult to find a place to park anywhere, especially near the storage facility entrance. The storage unit customers are not the priority here.

Facility was clean and secure. Would be nice to have more carts to aid in moving, as the two that are provided are hard to grab at busy times. Also, exit ramp could be smoother, as the door threshold and bottom of ramp have a big crevice that will catch a wheel and dump all your stuff off the cart. Staff was friendly.

When inquiring about rental units on the phone, the person on the phone was not clear that a second floor unit was up some stairs and it is double stacked on top of another unit. All other UHaul properties I have ever seen, were literally a floor of units that you can roll items into from an elevator I had no idea to to ask any other questions I have rented other kind of units This type should have been explained

We were pleased with the storage facility. We didn't need it any longer because we had a shed built on our property. As for areas for improvement, we felt the facility as a whole was well lit and well organized. But we had to supply our own light for the storage unit itself since there's no lighting inside the units. Also, as the price of our unit increased over the years, we felt it had become too expensive for us to continue.

I thought the facility was nice and it was mostly convenient. My only issue is my unit had to be accessed by stairs and I did not know that when I reserved it online. It was still nice it just meant I needed a second person to help me move my belongings which was less convenient.

My ONKY complaint is the parking. The lot is so crowded with trucks and trailers that it is very difficult to access the storage units, and the few parking spaces that are by the door to the storage were blocked by empty trailers every time we were there! Plus, all of the trucks parked so close to the driveway made it impossible to see the traffic when pulling out of the parking lot. Other than that one thing, great experience! I was very impressed by how clean the storage units are.

I wish I had known that I was getting a storage unit that I had to use stairs to get to, and that there was no kind of elevator access. That was not made clear to me and the resources I had were not super obviously available either- there was a lock conveniently in my storage unit, but I had to go to the front desk to find that out, for instance.

Feels like scammed. They didn’t let us know the storage units are ceiling Who the people use storage for only light stuff on sealing? In general, it’s common sense that using storage means putting heavy stuff unless you guys are stupid elementary school kids. By the way, the staffs are horrible too. The young man and the girl who is working there, don’t know what are they doing. They are just chatting and joking. Even not at all helpful for us. I have used several storage services, but this experience is the worst. They said they will refund it, but still, it’s not done yet. I HAVE TO SPEND MORE EXTRA MONEY TO RENT A TRUCK AND ANOTHER STORAGE SERVICE. THEY JUST WASTE MY MONEY AND TIME. PERIOD.

The staff were very friendly and helpful during my much-stressful move. Not only were they conveniently located close to where I was moving, allowing more access to my storage units, but any additional items I needed to buy were just simply charged to my card on file rather than having to wait in line to ring them up and purchase separately. The prices were a bargain, especially for the time that I needed to move in. I had just enough space to hold all my belongings, which was amazing. I'd definitely give these guys more of my business!!!

U-Haul on Bulldog is an easy-to-access facility. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rates were extremely reasonable, especially coming from a larger urban area! The parking lot was easy to navigate for a U-Haul facility (none of them are super easy).
