Very helpful and effecient

Dustin SI'm very happy with my experience. I had all my questions answered over the phone. I did a mobile pick up and the truck was easy to find and the keys were in the spot they specified. I will say give yourself some extra time for self pickup because the website (phone app wasn't working) had some hiccups as far as the license scanner and camera usage. As well I had to walk around the parking lot for it to say I as in the right location. Truck drove good and the return was easy, just handed over the keys.

Jerry CKaylin (not sure I'm spelling that correctly) was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. She made the whole rental process easy and enjoyable. I'm glad she was there on a Sunday morning.

Marian BThe girl in the Broadway location is rude with a stank attitude for one. Then I had an E Alert on me for no reason and had to call to have it removed when it should not have been there in the first place because the balance was paid. While waiting for the alert to be lifted staff left but the young man made sure to leave the key in the lock box for me he did try a little to help. The girl like I said was rude and not helpful at all. I was not given a dolly as I was supposed to have because they were so quick to leave and did not put it in the truck and I was charged for it this has happened TWICE. I think I’m done with U-Haul.

Louis PThe computers were down. Nobody seemed to know what to do. They finally did the rental “manually”. And when I finally got the trailer, I was unable to use it “not because of U-Haul “ I bought it back the third person I dealt with Said he could not find where I was in the system and told me that there’s no charge! Later on the next morning I was charged. Out of the three men I dealt with, all three were very nice, but did not have enough training and the manager either was busy, or was not there. I won’t be using that U-Haul again will I recommend it to anyone else!

Alfred CMy only comment is that U-Haul is advertising 19.95 for a rental, but that just isn't the case. After a 15$ safe mode fee, and multiple other fees + mileage, my total was 60.00. It's just deceiving.

SUNILKUMAR CThe agent gave me false information I told him the price online offered was cheaper he stated I could not pay online I’ll still need to come in that was a lie he also told me it will be the same rate no matter where I dropped it off that was a lie. He gave me a one way 42 miles to the loc $143 and when I dropped it off in Laurel it stated I owed another $73 in additional mileage yet I was misled that was all I needed to pay for the trip. I also was not offered the tow insurance and I got stuck in my yard had to pay a tow $100
ATTRISE CI can only speak for myself and my husband about this place on Broadway Drive, and keep in mind everyone has their good days and their bad days, but when I tell you that our experience was top notch, I am not in the least bit over exaggerating…The girl that helped me on pickup and drop off was so professional and kind to me, and I have been told that I am not the easiest person to deal with 🤣…It’s funny that I opened my email and saw this review request, because my husband and I were only just discussing how we really liked the workers (owners) there and how the truck was very clean, but what stood out above all else was the way in which the girl that helped us was so patient and helpful through all of my questions and concerns…

The first site did not have any vehicles and we were sent to a second location, which was closed. We went to a third location that was also closed. Finally, I found the fourth location that was open an was able to rent the truck.

KRISTIE MTruck rental was fine; however, we had to find out for ourselves which truck belonged to the key the guy gave us. He didn't come out to help us. Besides that, the storage unit smelled like dogs had been kept and pooped in it. A lot of my daughter's items were ruined from it raining inside, We killed numerous roaches, even carried some into her new home. And rats had pooped all over her things. I would not recommend anyone renting a storage unit from that location, EVER! Her beds, table and dressers has mold/mildew and bags of clothes were still soaking wet; she threw them out. We are not pleased at all.

HEATHER BI was charged a cleaning fee of $25 dollars for furniture pads that were in the truck when I rented it and left in the same condition. I did not order furniture pads. They stated that I did not fold them for them. They weren’t folded when I rented the truck. They weren’t used. I only used the truck to move a dresser. I will use another rental service from now on.

COREY FScheduled pick up for 8am. no one called to say that it “wasn’t ready”. I didn’t know until the morning of pick up while there at the location that I couldn’t pick up the truck because no one put the keys in a lock box. Had to wait until 9am for the location to actually open to get the keys. The gentleman who opened only confirmed my name and truck and then handed me the keys and that was it. When I entered the truck there was a pack of cigarettes on the side of the driver seat. Truck drove fine. Drop off was fine. Getting the truck was extremely time consuming and frustrating to not be able to get it for the scheduled time as we were MOVING that morning and were on a tight schedule with the people helping us.

I was almost put in a bad situation due lack of information .I do believe the staff in the switch board needs the training so everyone can be on one accord . The customer are paying for it in the end . Also I think it’s unsafe for any employer to be alone in a building after a certain time frame in the day . It’s important to not only hear your customers needs but it’s important to hear the employee . The employee is what make the company strive .

Vivian H | Overall ExperienceThe CSR at the Broadway location in Hattiesburg, MS. was great! However the rest of my experience can be summed up as a NIGHTMARE. I reserved a 26 feet truck and a 10 x 40 x 10 storage unit with great confidence as I received my confirmation emails. But in reality, the truck reservation was changed to a different location, reconfirmed by email with a 7:30 a.m. pick up time even though the store did not open til 10:00 a.m. I had to drive 20 miles further to a location in Moselle, MS and wait for them to open. After loading the truck and going to my storage reservation at 1303 7th St., Hattiesburg, MS., I was informed that my reservation with a confirmed email was completely deleted from the U-Haul computer system. I was stuck with a gas guzzling truck with all of my possessions inside of it and no place to store my belongings. I was told that U-Haul was sorry and there was nothing else they could do. The CSR lady at Broadway became my hero by finding storage space, but I would have to rate my overall experience with U-Haul as a COMPLETE FAILURE!!!
