James BIn regards to the location, I noticed that there was one particular staff member left alone to deal with atleast 5 customers in the 10-20 minutes we were there. Eventually when his two coworkers came back, we were helped but didn’t mind the wait because he was left by himself. The truck was clean and ran great for us, but it was not the truck that I reserved weeks in advance. In addition to a different truck and pickup location, this location also did not have the utility dolly i included in the reservation. The staff member said that this was because it was already reserved which is confusing because I had also reserved this equipment, so I’m not sure what made those supersede my reservation. I don’t think this is a location specific issue, but be mindful that your reservation may not be a reservation at all, and you may end up having to buy your own dolly!

RICK ASelected No for personnel helpful at drop-off because we dropped off after hours. No staff were present. The U-Haul return link worked flawlessly and was super convenient to use at the time of drop off.
Michael LI didn’t care for the fees raising 4 times in a year in a half. I didn’t have climate control so I really didn’t understand, I had two so it got rather costly. I had reserved a unit weeks ahead, but got to the storage sight, it wasn’t available so I had to get two. Overall the staff was amazing and facilities were kept nicely at the New Circle location

Rick BPay attention to purchase details. I purchased two dozen of the moving blankets. Saw two packages in trailer when picking up. When I started packing the packages only had 6 blankets in each package. Ended up having plenty with the 12, but not what I should of had.
MARVIN MI had a bolt stuck in the tread on RH rear tire. After i took off, I noticed the vibration on New Circle and knew something wasn’t right. I didn’t know if it was a tire or exhaust issue. Luckily my destination was Regency Road nearby. I would maybe do a quick test drive after each customer returns the vehicle to check for any problems to fix before renting to next customer. Thank you.

Kimberly Swhen i got the truck to my apartment and opened the back door of the truck, the whole inside was covered in dirt and mud everywhere, i had to fully clean and wash the back of the truck out and let it dry before i could even start my moving process

DONALD SHad to go through 3 trailers until one was found with operable lights. The trailer was hooked up by staff. Trailer came off of truck going 60 miles an hour less than 1 mile from facility. Called facility to see if someone could help me put it back on the truck but I got it before they answered. Had trailer rented for 2 days but returned after 1 day. I feel I should get a credit for the hassle and early return.
GREGORY PIs in a bad location and the people weren't very friendly, like they had something better to do. Was very little instructions for after-hours drop-off, then had jump thru a bunch of hoops to do that. Won't be going back to this facility.

SHERLINE POverall, the staff is very friendly, professional, and cooperative. Ken, who helped me check-in when returning my trailer, was very helpful. There's tons of equipment to choose from, and great availability, just wish the trailers were better maintained.
WILLIAM AWe were sent to the New Circle Rd location because we were told that they were the only location with a 15’ truck. When we got there we were told that they didn’t have a 15’ truck but quickly resolved the issue for us and were very friendly. They made a stressful day of moving very easy!

ROBERT HYoung man was very good and cordial and quick and fast help me get in and out as soon as possible. The next day there was a problem of Internet. But they sell the problem for another customer had to wait for a while that’s part of it. They had to call their general manager to figure out how to do it off-line their cell phones and help with the general manager to get my situation taken care of.
KEITH HThe folks asked me if I needed help once I arrived. I checked the equipment in online and it was an easy process. Within a minute of completing the check in process, the final receipt was emailed to me. Easy.

JULIAN TEmployee hooked up 6'x12' trailer to my truck. When I arrived at Lowes to pick up lumber, I noticed the trailer was littered with small metal debris and broken glass. There was a small box that had broken open that had screws spilling out. Good chance this stuff was spilling out when I was driving around. Really unprofessional, it was obvious this trailer was not ready to be rented, but employee hooked it up anyway without saying a word.

Betty PI also dropped off a trailer that we ferried from Parkersburg on Friday. It still shows as active on my app. I spoke with the representative at UHaul yesterday (Jeremiah) and he said he would take care of it. As of Sunday morning, it still shows as active.

I had to call and be transferred 4 times before being told that I had to drive to another location to get it! Rude ppl. And worst experience ever.

CHAD AThe location was great that I did an overnight return through the app and it charged me a $25 cleaning fee which I tried to call the location two times to get this resolved because this vehicle was not dirty to be charged a cleaning fee I used to work for a car rental company and I know how to return a vehicle Besides that I only used it to go to Lowe’s to pick up something so I did not have time to get it dirty
TOM TI already expressed that they were/ are allegedly working for my Brother’s assassins! But they were totally mean to me on purpose not answering phone calls or doors when in the warehouse. Overcharged my mother for this months payment and the receipt that was given was dated for December when in fact it was the 27th of January. My mom had to go to bank and bring back proof of U-Hauls mistake. They did not offer a refund of days left since I was able to clear out the unit by 28th of February. The treated me in a racist manner. There were some employees who showed exemplary behavior whom treated me kindly and they should be rewarded! When I tried to get equipment in warehouse they were not assessable to the customer and trying to get help was a not successful. So I will not come back nor will recommend the use of this particular facility.
viceanda B | Overall ExperienceI had to wait 40 mins to get the truck we ordered ahead of time. Appointment was at 3:30pm for pickup and didn’t leave until after 4pm. Truck barely had any gas. Then when returned I got an invoice stating I owed $397,522.71 because someone made a mistake. Thankfully my card wasn’t charged for that amount but my account was noted with a promissory note. If I hadn’t caught it and called them it would look like I owed that much money! That is ridiculous.
Stacy KI was given the truck with only 24 miles of fuel left in it. They stated that it was at 1/4 of a tank, but clearly it was not. I drive 26 miles total and returned the truck with 52 miles of fuel left in the tank. Uhaul still charged me $14 for gas to fill it up more even though I returned it with more fuel than it started. When I returned the truck the guy said I would be reimbursed for the extra fuel, not charged for more. The staff was nice but I hate not getting a final receipt right at the end- instead they email you a surprise a day later.

brian r | Overall ExperienceChecked in online-the storage unit was occupied. Called the facility and was put on hold for 15 min-walked up and 2 employees were just talking. They couldn’t find an empty unit. I found one and asked if I could have it and they said it was rented to someone else. Eventually they gave me that unit and said it was a mistake? Didn’t get a lock for the unit-bought my own- and will be moving out ASAP. Went to turn in my U-Haul key and no employees could be found. It was 1pm. In regards to the U-Haul, I was first given one that had a parking break issue-a voice came on in English and Spanish to tell me to turn the break off every 30 seconds. I went back and said I had a long drive-it wouldn’t work (the employee told me it would go off once the vehicle was started-it didn’t). Then I got a U-Haul that doesn’t have working headlights and didn’t realize until I was on the road in the dark. After all of that-I still wasn’t going to complain-but the mileage was put in wrong-I drove a total of 500miles TOPS and they charged me for over 3,400 miles!!!!! I can’t do anything about it because it is Christmas but now my card is charged over 3k instead of $600. I am beyond livid and upset. There honestly should be a 0 star option

robin c | Overall ExperienceEvery time I’ve been here (3 different moves), I’ve had problems. I’ve spent four hours here over the last two days. This office is poorly managed and extremely slow! People waiting in line to purchase supplies have to wait on others who are renting or returning vehicles. The self check out app doesn’t work, so those people have no other choice but to wait. I reserved my storage unit online, went to the office yesterday to get the lock and complete the remaining paperwork. I waited in line an hour while only four people were waited on. The guy told me the lock was inside the unit and gave me a map to get to it. I left to get a truckload of stuff and returned after hours, only to find that unit already had a lock on it. I had to drive my load back home. I returned this morning, waited in line another two hours with five people ahead of me. The online system was down and the guy had to walk back and forth to find a unit that was empty. He replaced my 10x20 with two 10x10 units. He was very polite and apologetic. It is ridiculous that a company as large as uhaul has this many issues. My last move, they didn’t have the truck that I’d reserved and I had to drive across town to get it at another location, while the movers I’d paid by the hour were waiting at my house. My move in a few weeks better not have the same problems. I’m giving uhaul another chance and so far I’m not impressed.

I attempted to call multiple times because I had checked out of my storage unit on the app, but the office (I assume) did not close my account out in the computer. I started receiving late payment notices, so I tried to call the office multiple times. The first time I was told to call back when the manager was working. Every other time the call got redirected to your call center. If you are going to offer an app to do business with U-Haul then the app needs to work. If the office is going to keep business hours, then they need to answer the phone. I have rented four U-Haul trucks this year in addition to the storage unit. Every time without fail, I had issues using the app to pick up or drop off the truck. The app is a GREAT idea, but it is poorly written and poorly supported.

When we first moved in they kept a key to my shed because the door was broken. So they rented me a broken shed and I don't know until it was full and we tried to shut the door. The people at this facility are lazy and don't care about your things. I would NOT recommend this uhaul site to anyone!

No one is able to answer any questions, and if your so much as a couple hours late ( not days, hours) on your unit payment they lock you out. The store smells like weed and the employees are visibly high.

Poor guys computer went down halfway through and I was almost charged for the unit when it was supposed to be free but it was his first time checking in a storage unit so I understand. It was afterwards that the problems started. Due to work it was a couple days before we could put stuff in the unit. We get there and there's a lock on the unit. We go to the office and turns out one of the employees had rented it to someone else in the couple days before we unloaded. After much confusion they tell us "sorry a new employee we've had since NOVEMBER has been doing this to people and she was fired yesterday." If she'd been there since November then she's not "new." So they rested us another unit that was NOT indoor (which we were supposed to have) after making the comment of "because we were upset they almost didn't want to rent us a unit" and trying to say we owed them because it was a bigger unit than the original one. Then as we unloaded the employees kept driving by and parking and sitting in their personal cars watching us as we unloaded. Needless to say we DID NOT use the lock they gave us and we put 2 locks on the unit. We also drove by the unit almost every night to make sure it was secure. After 2 weeks they call and tell us we can't have 2 locks on our unit because it was in our contract and if we were ever delinquent they had to be able to put their lock on the unit. We told them ok we will be moving out in a couple days anyway so we'll take care of it then (this was on 3/28 and our payment wouldn't have been due until 4/12 and we're living outside of Lexington). They said that wasn't good enough and we had to take one off that day or they would cut one off. I understand if it was in our contract (I have not double checked that) but to be honest if you can cut one off what's the big deal anyway? So we had to rent another UHaul (which we wouldn't have had to do otherwise and we DID NOT rent from this location) to clear out the unit because these people had acted suspiciously when we were unloading. We were clearing it out after office hours and again the employees were driving by and parking and sitting in their personal cars watching us load everything and then they followed us halfway home after we left before making a u turn and leaving. I think UHaul needs to keep a close eye on this location.

Children and friends of staff would be at the front of the service desk. It was hard to find staff at times. Long wait times in line. No communication when my storage locker was broken into. I still don't know what my access code to the unit is. I would stay away from this storage unit unless you can't find any other option and even at that point I would still say no.

He then said are you going to unload your car here, you could have did it there and pointed to where I asked him if this was the drop off, so now I'm getting upset, so I said, I asked you when I was there, we are all standing there, finally I said when are you going to take the car off the dolly or do you want me to move the truck again? He said that isn't my job it your job, no it isn't I didn't put it on I'm not taking it off, that's your job. So now he is loud and I'm loud, the other guy that was there said I'm getting the manager, so she comes and takes the side of her crew and said did you pay to have it taken off. You didn't even asked what happened the the rudeness of you employees. Again I didn't put the car on and I will not take it off! So she said she was calling the cops, ok call them they are going to make you take the car off the dolly, I then called customer service and complain and going to call the other number she gave me and complain to corporate. So while I'm on the cell with customer service they unhook the car half way and tell me to take it off their dolly and leave property. Now my biggest problem is about to happen. I get into the car and try to drive it off and your professional uhaul employees didn't unhook my car and my car was damaged by the dolly being still attached to my car. I will now have to go to a competitor and get a truck and a storage locker, because I do not want any of my money to go to that location or your business in Lexington, Ky.

Donald C | Overall Experiencethere needs to be a map of the facility on the outside. i didn't know where my unit was, because the inside units are labeled (the outside of the building didn't have any identifying marks) so i had to go back and ask for help re: which building??? only to come back AGAIN. because there was a lock on the unit. the rep advised me that locks are kept on the empty units. ok cool. but they already saw me, the same day, to purchase a unit. they saw me when i had to come back to ask where the unit was. and then a 3rd time to ask to unlock it. plus with the restrictions they stated that only ONE customer can be in the store at a time. i had to wait a very long time each time just to go in there to ask these questions. i did attempt to contact the 800 number. but the only thing they could do was tell me someone would call me back. which never happened.

Once, I got my storage unit there was on outside map to figure out where to find my unit. For all units inside....there's no way to find it besides asking. So, I had to go back and wait in line & they told me it was attached to the building. Again the garage like door was closed. Why not open it when they knew I was going to be moving? Finally got the garage like door open. Ok, now there's a padlock on the unit. Had to go back and wait in line to have them remove the padlock. There needs to be someone handling stuff outside and someone inside. So much time wasted trying to figure out where everything was.
