I was not informed that I was supposed to bring back the vehicle that I purchased for U-Haul for only three hours to the spot that I ruined it rented it from so in return I got added on two extra days and I was charge or my elderly grandmother was charged over $300 for a van rental that we only need it for four hours just because I wasn't informed by the salesman who was unprofessional not clean shaving andSlouchy without his shirt tucked in I have been to more places where each each person that work there was roughly and not dressed well and did their appearance look like they were not employees of U-Haul but yet people who live in the streetsJOSEPH T.

Exterior of truck looked rough. Check engine light on, but was told nothing was wrong with it. Interior windshield had not been washed so when sun was glaring it was hard to see. They forgot blankets and I had to go back. I had to ask for the blankets to be credited for my trouble. Of course I paid for more in gas and miles than the credit! The blankets were extremely damp and 1 was filthy dirty. Truck drove awful, out of alignment I guess.DEBORAH M.
Originally scheduled pick up time for 7am, notified day before that earliest I could get it was 11am. And actually I was even notified, I just happened to catch the time change on my check in email. I Called customer service and tried on line chat to get sorted out and was on hold for over an hour before giving up. The morning of my move the staff at the store was helpful and got me my truck by 930 am. However, I Still lost my $100 security deposit on the movers I hired for 8:30 am and uhaul completely ruined and made my moving day significantly more stressful. I will not be using or recommending uhaul to anyone in the future.Emily S.

I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. I would actually encourage people to use anyone but Uhaul. The original pickup reservation got changed the day before I picked up the Uhaul to a location 30 miles away from my house which was about 1 hour driving EACH direction when dealing with traffic. When I told the customer service rep this was extremely inconvenient was there anything else they could do, her response was, â€œI can cancel the reservation.â€ When I picked up the truck they marked the gas tank at 1/4 full. When I got into it it was at 1/8 full. They would not change the original documents saying this meaning I was responsible for the additional 1/8 tank of gas upon return. The tanks are 60 gallons and they get 6 miles per gallon. When pulling a dolly you can't just stop at any gas station especially in the middle of the city making me very close to running out of fuel. Upon returning the truck the truck I come to find out I went over on mileage. The additional mileage I had to drive to pickup the truck was not added into the contract. Uhaul is extremely good at nickel and diming you until you end up paying an additional 25% more than the original contract. Moral of the story, use any other moving company truck than Uhaul.LUCAS S.
