This was the most unsafe vehicle I have ever experienced when renting. I’m so upset that my family and friends were exposed to the many, many safety violations that this truck has. There is absolutely no way that the state patrol would let this vehicle on the road or approve it for rental. It was the scariest experience I’ve ever had. What’s even worse? Is that during this Family crisis, which was followed by several others…. I chose U-Haul. You better bet I’ll think twice next time whether it’s a crisis or not. Sincerely, Tamera Dehmer 509-947-4257

Daniel Castaneda-GarciaUsing the online check in I'm having a lot of problems with that is take me a half an hour to check in when I go to put in the information on my license it wants you to put in the month year then today it's really kind of a screwed up system and sometimes what it takes the picture of the license it doesn't put the information so when you go to try and put the date and everything in that's when I start having problems this has happened before I'm to the point where I'm about ready just to buy my own trailer so I don't have to deal with U-Haul not very happy
Eric MorinThis location confirmed with me that they would have my truck available for after hours pickup and said they would have my moving materials in the truck. I arrived to their lot around 9 pm on a Sunday night about 30 degrees outside. I could not access the after hours lock. The app is difficult to use. I texted both the president and GM for emergency after hours support (their numbers are in the door). Neither party responded. I called UHaul customer Service and overall spent an hour on the phone with them only to find out that this store failed to set up my truck for after hours pickup. I traveled 2000 miles from home to Pasco and was dropped at the UHaul lot on a promise that they would have my truck ready. U-Haul said there was nothing they could do and that I would need to come back to the store the next day. What could you do??? Let’s start with 1) keep your word - people rely on this. 2) if you provide a number on the door for emergency support - respond. The president has never responded yet - people are relying on you to help when needed. 3) fulfill the order. The next morning when I showed up to get my truck the supplies I ordered previously was not loaded in the truck - I was counting on you to make my move easy like you advertise - so much for that promise. Finally, the truck quality was terrible. I spent 3.5 hours waiting along the interstate waiting on roadside assistance because the driver side wipe fell off the truck while driving during a strong downpour - major safety items should be checked routinely. I was told by UHaul that their customer service manager would contact me about the roadside assistance delays and issues - you guessed it, they never contacted me. I was bamboozled by all the marketing on the UHaul website - don’t trust it, you would be best served to utilize another truck rental provider. This was a very terrible experience. I will never use UHaul again, ever!

Thomas MooreEntry for equipment return not marked real well for someone not familiar with the area. Again, no real acknowledgement or greeting from service rep, other than asking for the key, no conversation at all. Rep traveled toward office after performing check-in but said nothing?! WTF! Question, is U-Haul so big that Customer Service is not a thing? Or is there no training available for reps so that they can effectively interact and make a customer feel like they are valued?!?

The employees on shift while I was there had to deal with more than they should have. They need help, so offer more to your employees so that more people are willing to work there and spread out the workload.

MARISA DEFORDWe rented a vehicle transport trailer. The service at the location was very good, quick in and out. However, after we got the trailer, and picked up the vehicle we were transporting, the right rear tire on the trailer was very low. As we were leaving town, and the location had already closed, we stopped into a tire shop and had them check the tire. Not seeing any obvious leaks, the tire shop checked and filled the air in the trailer. We were able to make it to our destination and the tire was still good, we felt better. I hope the tires are checked in the future. Otherwise, the trailer worked well, all lights were good, ramps were easy to use, and straps to hold tires were in good shape.

Natalie StacksOne way drive through and drop off is great but why are vehicles parked in backwards. Customers have to back vehicles out and in tight confines and turn around to exit parking area. Workers should back the vehicles into spaces so customers can leave without a multi-point maneuver (with a large vehicle they might not be accustomed to) just to leave the premises.

BRENDA DAVISI’ve used Uhaul six times this year from many different locations. This is the only one I’ve had a bad experience with. They fixed it with refunding bogus charges and fees but it’d be much better to not be charged bogus fees in the first place.

Robert GarrettRight taillight fell out after 85 miles on the road because there was limited maintenance. There was a hole chewed through the inside of a fender due apparently to some prior blowout for another customer. I was able to repair the light and reattach it without help..

It was a general customer service line and was told my account wasn't closed. I decided to drive to the facility because it's close to where I live. I thought I was going to have difficulty getting the charge reversed but no...the girl helping me was kind and just like that, the account was closed and the charge was reversed. Melissa, the manager, is also amazing...I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We did this almost every month for past year. Then… finally went with an outdoor unit (over phone) was told “yeah, no problem, we have it reserved for you”— told her we wouldn’t be moving in for Couple of weeks, but we would start paying. When I arrived to move in—they did not even have us down for one, saying a reservation doesn’t really mean we would get one anyway. WTH? And then we’re told there were none open. Somebody “just reserved the last large unit”. So…our reservation didn’t mean didly squat, but now somebody else’s does?! We moved out. The customer service has always sucked and we have had enough. There is a reason this UHaul on Court Street Pasco only has a 1.5 rating! No names on employee shirts so I cannot tell you the young lady who needs to be reprimanded. She is also VERY unfriendly at the counter and did not check us out properly. Told me they would walk back with us to make sure it was clean…but then did not. She never smiles or looks at customers in the eyes. More training and capable staff is required. Will never recommend this place or rent from them again.

Patricia Ammons | Online Move InYour manager Yvette Rios made everything smooth as I dropped off my U-haul in, Pasco Wa., and provided me with storage. I was not impressed with my experience in Olympia. I had to go 60miles out of my way to get a trailor for my car. This involved un planned time. It may have been in writing by u-haul but was not communicated by the manager. It was difficult to get a hold of the manager there. She was not present or reacheable by her staff when I had a few issues to take care of. I will say Olympia has an excellent mechanic staff who stepped in to fix my trailor that was broken and figure out the problem so I did not lose my car on the way to Richland. A major part the winch to hold the car was put on backwards. You might want to see how long this part was upside down which could have had devastastng results. The manager was not at the store and I am not sure what they would have done for me if this could not be remedied. The manager and independant operator in Yelm helped me with the trailor and helped me as well to smooth out my overall experience with U-haul in Olympia. Overall my experience was even pretty good at both stores, but overall Yvette was excellent, perhaps she should be promote to a regional manager position. Thank you. The truck was in great mechanical shape and everthing was as smooth as could be when I arrived in Richland. Thank you. By the way the reason I dropped off in Pasco, was the store was open on Sunday and had storage available. I do want to emphasize that Olympia was good but Pasco wins the Gold.
